Bam. My point exactly. An angle justifies it, makes it clear that this is a fluke and/or that the guy they just beat was cost the match by interference something.Like, for example. I can imagine John Cena facing Chavo Guerrero and basically about to own him in about five minutes, only he accidentally takes out the referee in the middle of it, and when he gets the A² on Chavo and goes for a pin, there's no ref count, but instead Batista comes out and beats Cena down, complete with spinebuster and Batista Bomb, then Chavo and the ref both come to, Chavo gets the cover, ref counts, Chavo wins. Anti-Cena folks and Chavo fans get to laugh, WWE casuals get to boo, and Batista and his feud with Cena get more heat cause he cost Cena a loss against frickin' Chavo Guerrero.

Reminds me of the Kurt Angle/Essa Rios feud in the early '00's. That was pretty cool.

So with how uncreative the creative department is, roll on next week for........

1) Ryder to lose as per usual. And......

2) Whoever beats him to walk off with a diva.

On the jobber beating a star thing, I just think WWE has changed so much since the mid-ninties.  Back then you had some many jobbers and some of them were actually pretty well known at least to older fans, like Horenwiz for example, than the fans got sick of seeing boring one sided bouts each week so actually did react with suprise and releaf when a jobber coursed an upset.  Nowadays you still have jobbers but not to the same extant.

The best way to do something like this is to have someone whose at least been a bit competive for a few weeks, maybe even a month, have WWE comment on his in ring improvement, and then have him get the big first win.
Lifes what you make it.

I choose to out think people, who are too dumb and pick on the rich.

Quote Zack Ryder is rumored to be doing more of a "Jersey Shore" style gimmick going forward.

He was always supposed to be an arrogant "guido" type, but it seems this new direction might be a preemptive strike against TNA's new pairing of Rob Ecko (now Robbie T), and Becky Bayless (now "Cookie"), who will be going by the name "SHORE".

Bayless herself was said to have an awful tryout match with TNA, so she will likely stay out of the ring and take a valet role.

Fancy the Brian Christopher ripoff now getting to ripoff something else.

He's unoriginal and he's done well to last as long as he has.

I have kinda enjoyed his intereaction with Edge these past few weeks though.

I love Edge and Ryders promos nowadays. So funny. Best promos in a while.

Im surprised he is still in WWE, would've thought they got rid of him ages ago lol.

I doubt this gimmick will do him any favours, I expect him gone before mid-2011.

I hope he does.  The stuff with him and Edge lately has been great.  Jersey Shore does not interest me in the least so this is gonna be interesting to see how this works out.
