What was with his pre match promo? So he's single all of a sudden just because Rosa is now on a different show....

He's going to be comedy heel jobber and nothing more because he doesn't even come over as good enough for midcard.

Surprised Lawler doesn't get behind him seems as he's doing his sons old act.....

Raw needs a good jobber right now and he fits the bill quite nicely. Let's face facts, every match can't be a 15 minute nail biter and sometimes a guy just needs to put out a decent match and do the job week after week. His role ad jobber shouldn't be deemed negative as he seems to be a ble to bounce around pretty well and certainly seems to know how to sell. It isn't a bad move and could actually boost someones career in the long run. Didn't Mick foley climb to the top by knowing how to get his ass kicked?

Now I am not saying ZR is the next foley. Mick did have mad mic skills to get himself over, but the important thing to remember is this...a jobbers check cashes the same as the wwe champions.

That's actually a very good point, but I just feel like I'd be able to get behind it better and a lot of people would be able to get behind it better if established jobbers were allowed to win a match every once in awhile.

I hope he doesnt become a jobber. Ryder is a great talent who put on some of the best WWE tv matches last year with Christian Cage.

This is why I miss WWE/ECW because now guys like this and people like Shelton have nothing so they either get released or become undeserving jobbers. He is too talented for this.

yeah, throw in a shocker win once in a while.  The guy doesn't suddenly have to be made World Champion after that win but throw in one of those occasionally.  Like say, give him a win over Cena or Batista one night.  One over Batista would be more impressive given that Batista is suppose to be this huge monster that can't be beaten.

Seriously. WWE (and even TNA) should look into having the odd jobber win over somebody with at least a solid midcard position. Successfully well-done, here's the value of such things:
  • They are funny.
  • They are unpredictable.
  • They say anybody can beat anybody in the WWE.
  • They let the jobbers and whatever fans they may have know that their role in the company is recognized and respected.

Unless an angle justifies it, I don't see why a jobber should beat a superstar, no matter his status. Especially if their basic role is to make the superstar look good.

One thing I'll agree with you though is that we should see more upset wins, just to test the waters to how the crowd would react to a possible push for a superstar. It mildly worked for Barry Horowitz in the mid-90's. Didn't turn out so good for Freddie Joe Floyd aka Tracy Smothers but I think that you need those kinds of booking some time to erase the era of predictability that plagues wrestling nowadays. In that sense, I think TNA is sometimes trying to go in that direction but they drop the ball quickly.

Well you play your cards well, it doesn't hurt a main eventer to drop the occasional match to a midcarder, especially if this midcarder's got the tools to succeed.

It wouldnt hurt to give the jobbers the odd win even if its just on Superstars rather than Raw or Smackdown.

For example why didnt they put Ryder over Mark Henry? The win could have been booked to look a fluke but it would be a win none the less. Henry is a awfull wrestler who is nothing more than a low-card guy himself so its not like the loss would have hurt him.

I always hoped Zack Ryder would form a team with Dolph Ziggler due to their similarities.

Bam. My point exactly. An angle justifies it, makes it clear that this is a fluke and/or that the guy they just beat was cost the match by interference something.

Like, for example. I can imagine John Cena facing Chavo Guerrero and basically about to own him in about five minutes, only he accidentally takes out the referee in the middle of it, and when he gets the A² on Chavo and goes for a pin, there's no ref count, but instead Batista comes out and beats Cena down, complete with spinebuster and Batista Bomb, then Chavo and the ref both come to, Chavo gets the cover, ref counts, Chavo wins. Anti-Cena folks and Chavo fans get to laugh, WWE casuals get to boo, and Batista and his feud with Cena get more heat cause he cost Cena a loss against frickin' Chavo Guerrero.

I would actually like to see them form a tag team tbh, I think it would be a good team, especially with both there styles being sort of the same.
