But it's an anime not a comic book.

Guardians of the Galaxy is getting good reviews, but I can't help but look at it and think: Really!? It looks terrible to me.

yeah but you're old and miserable.

For a person who doesn't piss dust, this is a great movie.

Cool

I finally got around to watching both Man of Steel and Kick-Ass 2. obvious changes to the comic aside, Kick-Ass felt a bit flat, and the final battle lost a bit of spark by not being on the streets, but was still enjoyable.

Man of Steel was meh. Kal-El just seemed to be a bit of an arse. I expect it's the Transformers Syndrome, where cool CGI destruction takes the place of logic, but the fight with Zod, where he would throw and punch the guy into buildings and locations where people were still inexplicably walking around despite massive sonic booms and levels of destruction that would otherwise have caused mass evacuation.

the idea of Lois following the trail of good deeds back to Kal-El and his Clark Kent persona did make sense, her knowing was logical, and it was an okay film, but I can understand why it got such a low return...

I find Man of Steel the best adaptation of Superman yet!
