* Since he did that promo, do you think he's improved at all with his calling of matches?

* Some of the things he says are pretty "cheesy" like he's completely in the wrong business.

* Tazz isn't the brightest tool in the box, but even he's having to correct Adamle at least once a week.

* Adamle wouldn't get away with such shoddy work on any other brand but the C brand.

The worst thing is I think his nearer being promoted than sacked as I believe I've read somewhere that Vince now rates him!!!!!! I for one think anyone else would be better!!!

It's partly because of him that ECW is now almost unwatchable, the other part being Mark Henry as champion, I can only imagine how Matt Hardy's heart must have sank when he found out he was drafted there.

The first couple of times that Adamle made mistakes that funny, but it happens so often that it's now become embarrassing to even listen to.

I find it hard to believe that Vince would rate him as a commentator, Vince having been a top-notch commentator in the past in his own right, you'd think he'd know a good announcer when he saw one, all I can say is the likes of Gorilla Monsoon and Gordon Solie must be flipping in their graves if they have heard Adamle wherever they are...

He's new to the table as far as I know so maybe he's just starting to break in and at least Tazz does his job well enough to compensate for it. At least Adamle isn't Todd Pettingil, who I must say is one of the worst broadcast characters in WWE history.

The guy has been in broadcasting FOREVER, and he's been in the WWE since January, how long will they let this slide...really!?

Lance Storm rants on ECW play-by-play man Mike Adamle in his latest commentary, which you can read at this link.
well lance makes some really good points in slagging off adamle in this rant (its really funny how he says at the begining "this time i will go on a bit of a rant" when has he not? LOL) but still with the constant whining lol. i guess wwe paid attention to this and so much more that they decided to give adamle a chance in a gm role, on raw none the less. i guess we will have to wait and see what he is going to be like but i think he needs an enforcer or two, maybe regal and/or jbl, because he just seems like too much of a push over to be demanding and/or controling any of the superstars, even more so then the coach and look at all the stuff wrestlers did to him as gm. LOL
Qouth the draven, nevermore.

From Jim Ross Website.............

Quote Mike Adamle replacing Joey Styles as the play by play voice of ECW has created a plethora of talk this week regarding wrestling announcing. A couple of things on this matter, some people have a natural gift for wrestling broadcasting such as Gordon Solie did, but to others the art of wrestling announcing is "an acquired taste" (sort of like a guy once told me about Scotch Whiskey, but I have never been able to "acquire the taste" for Scotch). I know that after being a life long fan of wrestling and getting the opportunity to work in a viable wrestling territory for a great mentor (Bill Watts) that I had a better chance than most in making it as a wrestling broadcaster for so many years. Being involved with the WWE’s flagship cable broadcast is a huge honor and responsibility of which I take seriously. Perhaps too seriously at times in my life, especially when I was replaced on Raw, which resulted in yours truly not being a prize to be around until the sting went away. After my cancer scare of 2005, I look at my career a little differently now and take every day one day at a time and know that my next broadcast could be my last for any number of reasons. Bottom line is I count my blessings and I am proud of much of the work of which I have been associated and honestly feel I can contribute for many more years in my current role on Monday Night Raw. I know the King feels the same way. However, when the day comes to say adios on Monday night there will be no Tony Soprano "Poor me" stuff going on. But for those keeping score at home, in my mind I am far from ready to tap out and call it a career. Was Mike Adamle brought in to replace yours truly at some point? Beats me. And I don’t care. I do know that my best days are yet to come behind the mic, or at least that is how I choose to approach my work. As it relates to wrestling announcing, interesting days lie ahead.

* JR says they will be no "poor me" stuff when he leaves Raw. Well he wasn't a man of his word, as when he got moved to Smackdown he went and moaned about it for a few days in the public domain.

* What Adamle being put on the ECW announce team proved is that being a play by play broadcaster is not something you can do just like that.

* The reason I like Grisham and Striker the most as a commentary team is that they are new, fresh and young. Vince must be happy that he looks to have a couple of commentators ready to step up should positions higher up become available.

No, Adamle is the worst broadcaster of all time; including Art Donavan. Lance Storm is exactly right in his blog in the link devilkin07 posted. Adamle was extremely incompetent in addition to sucking.

And he sucked as a GM, too.

I'm glad he's gone.

Fuck he's even worse than Coach.
