The referee raises HHH's hand and passes him the title

Commentator 1: What a moment for HHH, overcoming 3 other superstars in that gauntlet match
Commentator 2: The odds were stacked against him, but Triple H showed exactly why they call him the Cereberal Assassin

The moment you took these guys I speculated if you would do Helmsley vs Ciampa. The two pair up with each other well as both have similar styles with a combination of wrestling skill, athleticism, and viciousness. In fact one can call Ciampa the "Cerebral Assassin" of today's NXT. It is an awesome matchup.

I also like how Hunter's usual weapon of choice (the sledgehammer) was turned against him.

The crowd goes absolutely wild as The Rocks entrance music hits

Rock appears on the stage with a smile before walking back and forth staring into the crowd at either side of the entrance ramp

Commentator 1: WOW, listen to this reaction for The Peoples Champion ... The Rock
Commentator 2: A standing ovation for the most electrifying man in sports entertainment
Commentator 1: It's giving me goose bumps, it really is

The Rock has made his way down the entrance ramp and into the ring, climbing each turnbuckle and gesturing to the crowd - the noise levels have picked up in the arena

The Rock has a microphone in hand as his music fades

Rocky chants ring out from the crowd

The Rock: FINALLY ....... THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO XWF

The crowd cheer loudly

The Rock: The Rock would just like to take this moment to thank THE MILLIONS

Crowd: AND MILLIONS

The Rock: AND MILLIONS of Rock fans for this fantastic welcome

The Rock: You see The Rock has been gone from wrestling a little while, working on some things but at the back of The Rocks mind, there has been this burning question, this burning issue ....

The Rock: And no matter what .... no matter how many movies ...... how many tv shows .... how many guest appearances .....

The Rock: The Rock can be in the gym .... clangin and bangin ..... working his ass off but still The Rock can not get this out of his head - The Rock needs to know

The Rock: THE GREAT ONE NEEDS TO KNOW .....

The crowd cheers

The Rock: Can the most electrifying man in sports entertainment still electrify???

The Rock: Can The Rock still go???

The Rock: Has The Rock still got what it takes to walk down that ramp, and whoop somebodies candy ass?

The crowd go wild

"You Still Got It" chants ring out from the crowd

The Rock is pacing back and forth in the ring, clearly fired up

The Rock: The Rock needs to know because The Rock goes to sleep and he dreams .... he dreams about....

Commentator 1: Wait a minute?!?!

Velveteen Dream appears on the stage, with a purple spotlight shining down as the remainder of the arena is in darkness

The crowd cheer loudly

"Velveteen" chants break out from the stands as his music fades..

Dream: Did you just say Dream?

Dream: Rocky, whilst you may think you are the great one, let the Dream show you what your reality is?

Dream: Let the Dream show you who is the real peoples champion?

Dream: Rocky .... at Retribution, The Dream is offering you a once in a life time opportunity ... an opportunity to EXPERIENCE the Dream

Dream: Rocky ... i admired you

Dream: But you're climbing into bed with someone who's BIGGER than you ... who's BETTER than you .... who's more ELECTRIFYING than you

Dream: So Rocky .... put your mind at rest .... put your body at rest ..... and put your soul at rest because at Retribution all of your questions will be answered

Dream: you're wildest fantasy realised

Dream: Come Retribution Rocky ...... DREAM OVER

So for the mid-draft reviews, I guess I'll start with the promotion that gets the first overall draft pick.

Quote 1. Adam Cole Bay Bay
OSD: Paul Heyman
2. "The Best In The World" CM Punk
3. "The People's Champion" The Rock
4. The Velveteen Dream
5. Blackheart Tammaso Ciampa
6. "The Game" Triple H
7. Daniel Bryan
8. Io Shirai
9. "The Dr. Of Thuganomics" John Cena
10. Kyle O'Reilly

This is a good mix of NXT & big name stars.

You've only got 2 matches being built towards atm, with Ciampa vs Trips, and Rock vs Dream but they're good ones.

Personally I'm not really all that into Ciampa OR Triple H, but I know they're a draw and it's a good matchup for the two. On paper, I really like the matchup, IRL I wouldn't really care to see it though as I find Triple H utterly boring, and perhaps it's his similarities to Triple H that I've never noticed before that keep me from really buying into Ciampa as a big deal as well. So again, there's a difference between me the booker and me the viewer. I'd totally book this match and want it on my card if I were going that route this season, but as a viewer... meh.

The Rock vs Velveteen Dream however is an instant dream match (no pun intended). They have a lot in common and of anyone that has come up through NXT since it's inception, Velveteen Dream is the only one with the chops to not get completely blown out of the water by Rocky. Not only that but The Rock brings out the best in everyone he works with. Cena was at his best with The Rock, Orton was at his best with The Rock, the list goes on, Dream would be a great buildup to see, and that's what this feud would be all about watching the build.

I'm not sure where else you'll be going with your card, but with people like CM Punk and Paul Heyman, Daniel Bryan, and two members of the Undisputed Era, you could have some interesting matchups to build towards.

I think once again your card is going to be the one to beat, and it's no surprise at this point since you've always had your finger on the pulse of the wrestling world and what's hottest ATM.

Mid draft review based on what you announced so far...

As said; I love Helmsley vs Ciampa and I can't reiterate enough how Ciampa is truly the "Cerebral Assassin" of NXT. This should be an outstanding match up that will be equally as hard hitting as it will be vicious.

To me The Rock vs Velveteen Dream is okay. I get the appeal in the match up as they are somewhat similar in personality but Dream has never wowed me.

If you do Shirai vs Bayley (the two women you have on your roster right now), very, very good.

I assume you're eventually going after the rest of the Undisputed Era; but I am not entirely sure if you will use Adam Cole (Bay Bay) in singles or as part of a group. If you do Cole vs CM Punk... wow that would be amazing. Cole vs Bryan will be a technical masterpiece. So I look forward to what you will do with Cole, Punk, and D Bry.

Not gaga about John Cena in any capacity other than a good power vs power match or an entertainment based match and will be disappointed if you waste any of the above mentioned on him.

Also, I have to make note of the major differences between mine and Rico's tastes based on our respective reviews. Rico doesn't really like HHH and I do and love his match here; meanwhile I am not crazy about The Rock that much while Rico loves his match here.

XWF recently announced the signing of UFC Superstar "The Notorious" Conor McGregor.

XWF Chairman #Heel was quickly reminded by fans on social media outlet Twitter of the colourful history between Conor and another recent XWF acquisition, former WWE Superstar John Cena.

The below articles were circulated over the hours after Conors arrival with both Superstars trending worldwide.

XWF chairman #Heel then moved to address the internet buzz, confirming that both men are keen to assert their dominance here in XWF:

"Of course we are delighted with how the announcement (of Conor's signing) was accepted by the fans, the mainstream media and the other XWF Superstars. We want to put on the best possible show for the loyal fanbase that we have.

With that said, as soon as the signing was made official and the announcement went out their, John contacted me to put his name forward for Conor's debut match. He was pretty demanding and adamant that he was the only opponent the fans would want to see him face off against and as you guys have all seen over the weekend, the internet never forgets.

The history between the two is there for everyone to see.

Conor isn't one to back down from any challenge and you've all seen his opinion of John, so i'm sure he will be keen to settle this on such a big stage in front of a global audience."

Confirmation was then made in the following days that the two would battle it out at XWF:Retribution:
