In one of the latest articles to appear on their website, the WWE has comprised a power ranking list of what they believe are Top 30 Stars of the Original ECW. Here is the following from their most recent countdown highlighting the Greatest Wrestlers from 'The Land of Extreme'!: #29 - Balls Mahoney #28 - Al Snow #27 - Steve Corino #26 - Chris Candido #25 - Justin Credible #24 - Spike Dudley #23 - Lance Storm #22 - Masato Tanaka #21 - Eddie Guerrero #20 - Cactus Jack #19 - Yoshihiro Tajiri #18 - Dean Malenko #17 - The Eliminators (Perry Saturn & John Kronus) #16 - Mike Awesome #15 - Jerry Lynn #14 - New Jack #13 - Mikey Whipwreck #12 - Rhyno #11 - Bam Bam Bigelow #10 - Terry Funk #9 - The Public Enemy #8 - Raven #7 - Shane Douglas #6 - The Dudley Boyz #5 - Tommy Dreamer #4 - The Sandman #3 - Tazz #2 - Sabu #1 - Rob Van Dam Now, I can't say I'm overly disappointed about this list, as every one it in some way, shape, or form deserves and has a rightful spot on their. The only thing I can really find to disagree about is some of the ranking positions. The Top 10 is definitely solid, so not alot to complain about. However though, I'm kind of sitting on the fence on whether Dreamer should've been a head of Sandman, but I can see the reasons as to why hes not. The Dudley's ahead of Shane Douglas is a bit of shocker, at least to me it is. I don't agree with Public Enemy being Number 9 though, they could have been a tad lower, maybe like 1 or 2 spots, buts thats all really. Mike Awesome should of made it a little higher, but again, I fully understand why he has that position on the list. I'm surprised Jericho or Mysterio didn't make the cut. Not because I think they should of, but because I thought WWE would put them in there. Anyway, what are your thoughts on this? Who should've been Number 1? Who shouldn't of made the list at all? I hand it over to the TUP Universe now. Until next, so long Humanoids! ![]() |

I don't have a huge problem with the list.
911, Nova and FBI were all super popular so I guess you could switch them in there for guys like Guerrero/Cactus etc who didn't have a huge mark on ECW and werent there long. |

Even if they weren't there for long, Eddie Guerrero and Cactus Jack had a bigger impact in ECW than 911, Nova and the FBI during their tenure. Guerrero had a great feud with Dean Malenko over the TV title and Cactus Jack feuded with Shane Douglas over the ECW Championship. I understand not including Jericho and Mysterio in the rankings. Well, maybe Jericho could've been there but Mysterio was virtually only booked in one-night appearances for lucha libre exhibition matches so makes sense to leave him out of the rankings. Don't have anything against the rankings. For once, they left little to argue about. |

RVD shouldn't be #1. Top 10 yes but #1 should go to Sabu or Taz. 911 and FBI should be on the list.
