Quote Here is the updated WWE WrestleMania 35 card after Tuesday's Smackdown Live. WWE's biggest PPV of the year will take place on April 7, 2019 live from East Rutherford, NJ.

WWE Universal Title Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Raw Women's Triple Threat Title Match
Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE United States Title Match
Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio
WWE Cruiserweight Title Match
Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese
No Holds Barred Match
Triple H vs. Batista
Kurt Angle's Farewell Match
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Andre the Giant Battle Royal

Competitors: Braun Strowman, others TBA

Rumour as it with pre show it could be EIGHT HOURS!!! This is not a eight hour worth card and it will be a hard watch.

Smackdown has the better matches so going down the card in order......

Lesnar/Rollins: Should be a new champion and Brock gets his better matches from smaller guys, so it will deliver.

Rousey/Lynch/Flair: Still would prefer Charlotte not in it. Did Hogan vs Andre new Piper? Did the Austin vs Rock series need Jericho? Did the Hs vs Foley series need Undertaker? Did the Bret/Shawn series need someone else? Triple threat fueds rarely deliver. Becky wins or fans riot.

Samoa Joe vs Rey Mysterio: I expected Joe to face Cena and Rey to face Andrade. It's been thrown together with no build. Joe retains in what's hopefully a long run as champion.

Murphy/Nese: Murphy will retain and it will be on the pre show like 205 Live title matches always are.

Hs/Deacon: It's no holds bared so Dave can be protected for his movie career, neither have to take a bump and they don't have to run through wrestling holds. It's lazy booking to make it as easy as possible for them. Dave will be back to finally put Hs over. A rare Mania win for Hs.

Angle/Corbin: Angle needs to go out with a win and deserves better than his retirement match being against a generic heel.

Shane/Miz: Shane does his usual spot monkey spots like Coast To Coast before putting Miz over. Shane loves a Mania job, much like his brother in law.

Styles/Orton: Could be the show stealing match of the night. Two guys from totally different backgrounds, with totally different move sets. Gotta think they will get half an hour before Styles wins.

ATGMBR: It's too obvious Braun will win, so I think he won't. I would guess he will be down to the last two and then probably Ricochet will eliminate him for the win.

I read a report that said the event will feature 17 matches!! I know WWE feel a obligation to get all their talent on the show in some shape or form but that is overkill and I'm thinking I will need to watch it in 2 or even 3 separate sittings.

If it is as many as 17 matches I'm thinking 4 or 5 of them will be on the pre-show, I think that will be the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, the Cruiserweight title match, Asuka's title defence, maybe the Raw Tag title match which will probably be The Revival vs Ricochet and Aleister Black vs Gable and Roode and then the Ladies Battle Royal.

I also saw a report that suggested John Cena vs Lars Sullivan may be a surprise addition to the card, this was the original plan before Sullivan had his anxiety issues but it's said he's feeling better now and may be good to go. If it does go ahead what a great debut it would be for Lars if he goes over Cena.

So that would be 6 matches then the 7 confirmed matches listed by Admin which gives us 13, add to that Drew McIntyre vs Roman Reigns, The Usos vs The Hardy Boys, Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston and Finn Balor vs Bobby Lashley and there's your 17, so it could happen it seems.

However many matches they make, however long the show lasts , whatever twists we see will all pale in comparison to NXT Takeover New York

I'm looking forward to both shows but this Mania just seems to be lacking something

Honestly, I'm not especially thrilled about Takeover New York either, though I'm sure it won't disappoint.

I just want to see WWE do something better than what they've been doing for the last 4 years. 2015 and on has been really bad. I feel like WWE is just circling the gutter at this point, but since there's no one around to compete, all they do is circle without flushing on down.

they definitely seem to be building a match for the Women's Tag titles too, it's just whether it will be Bailey and Sasha against just Nattie and Beth, a triple threat with Nia and Tamina, or a fatal 4 way with the IIconics.

There should also be a SDL women's title match, but it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if that was part of the pre-show.
