Quote On Monday, WWE issued the following press release regarding ticket information for WrestleMania.

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct 29, 2018--WWE ® (NYSE: WWE) today announced that tickets to the pop-culture extravaganza, WrestleMania, will be available on Friday, November 16 starting at 10 AM ET. Ticket prices range from $35-$1,000. There will also be a limited number of “Gold Circle” VIP Packages available ranging from $2,000-$2,500. The Gold Circle packages include seating in the first nine rows ringside, access to a Gold Circle VIP Stadium Entrance and a commemorative WrestleMania take-home folding chair. Tickets can be purchased through www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000. All tickets are subject to service charges and facility fees.

In addition , WrestleMania Travel Packages, which will include tickets to WrestleMania Week events, will be available Monday, November 5 starting at noon ET at www.wrestlemaniatravel.com. WrestleMania is more than just a one-day event; it is a week-long celebration. In addition to WrestleMania, other events include: WrestleMania Axxess®, WWE’s interactive fan festival, and four spectacular live events taking place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, including the 2019 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; NXT®TakeOver®, Monday Night Raw® and SmackDown®Live.

WWE will also host activities designed to give back to the local community during WrestleMania Week including Be a STAR ® bullying prevention rallies, hospital visits and Make-A-Wish events. Additional information on these events will be announced in the future at www.wrestlemania.com.

Over the past 11 years, WrestleMania has generated more than $1 billion in cumulative economic impact for the cities that have hosted the event.

A couple of grand for the top tickets Shocked It's expensive to experience the very best.

They will be sold by touts for far more than face value within hours of going on sale.

Tickets usually go on sale on a Saturday, so I don't know why they have picked a more awkward day.

Quote Last Tuesday on Smackdown Live, Daniel Bryan won the WWE Championship and turned heel in a shocking turn of events. With that being said, Daniel Bryan will now face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series in a RAW vs SDL Champion vs Champion match. Although it is rumored that Lesnar will be holding the Universal Title again until Wrestlemania, Dave Meltzer reported that somehow, AJ Styles is the leading thought in creative to face Lesnar.

This is a weird option logistically because AJ is a Smackdown superstar meaning he would have to be traded to RAW to take the title off of Lesnar. Regardless, Meltzer reported that the leading candidates are Strowman, Bryan, McIntyre, and AJ.

“There’s nobody to bring back from the past so if you’re going to put anyone with Lesnar I mean there’s not a lot of options really when you think about it. There’s Strowman but I was told it wasn’t going to be Strowman. There’s McIntyre, there’s AJ, probably not Bryan unless Bryan beats him and then they can do him again. They can always take somebody out of nowhere but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of options for that spot so AJ does seem pretty viable for it.”

Obviously nothing is set in stone by this report, but Meltzer does claim that backstage reports say Strowman isn’t likely after all and AJ really fits the mold.

In other news.....

Quote WrestleMania 35 is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in East Rutherford, NJ at MetLife Stadium. This event airs on pay-per-view (PPV) and WWE Network. It’s the most successful and longest-running professional wrestling event in history. Both Raw and SmackDown rosters will be featured.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the current plan is for Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey to headline WrestleMania 35. This is after Lynch was pulled from her match against Rousey at Survivor Series and replaced by Charlotte Flair, who was believed to face Rousey at WrestleMania 35 originally.

It was added that Vince McMahon decided that the best thing to do was to save the match for WrestleMania.

If these two matches headline this has the potential to be best Wrestlemania ever. AJ gave Brock his best match in years a year ago and on a bigger stage with more time they could produce something even better.

Becky vs Ronda is just simple logic, Becky is so over right now she’s surpassed Charlotte as the top woman in WWE and you could argue it’s fate that she got injured meaning the dream match with Rousey gets to happen at Wrestlemania instead.

Quote Tickets for next year's WWE WrestleMania 35 went on sale this morning and according to Ticketmaster, the event almost sold out right away with only random single tickets left. This would make it one of the most successful WWE PPV ticket sale launches ever, even though more seats will likely be added in the future and the secondary market will also make seats available to fans who didn't get in on the action.

-- Ticketmaster also offered fans a unique option of adding seats for the WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony, Raw on Monday and Smackdown on Tuesday at the Barclays Center. While none of these events are on sale yet, any fans who decided to jump on this offer would not only get tickets for those shows, but be guaranteed to sit in the same seat for all three events.

It's crackers a stadium can be sold out so quickly without anything announced match wise.

Once they know how much space the staging and set will take up, any additional tickets won't last long either.

I think a lot are hoping the rumour some of the Fox money will be used to get The Rock to wrestle, ends up being true.

So the pieces of the puzzle are falling into place now, I think this will be the card.....

Brock Lesnar(c) vs Seth Rollins - WWE Universal Title

Daniel Bryan(c) vs Kofi Kingston - WWE Title

Ronda Rousey(c) vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch - WWE Raw Women's Title

Triple H vs Batista - No Holds Barred

Kurt Angle vs TBD - I think Finn Balor or Bobby Lashley

The Miz vs Shane McMahon

AJ Styles vs Randy Orton

Roman Reigns vs Drew McIntyre

The Usos(c) vs The Hardy Boys - WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles

The Revival(c) vs Gable/Roode vs Ricochet/Black - WWE Raw Tag Team Titles

So it's a very good looking card even if it perhaps lacks the star appeal of past Wrestlemania's as aside from Batista vs HHH there are no what I would call marquee matches but there are plenty of potentially very good matches that hold a lot of appeal if you are a wrestling fan.

i actually like that card but personally id have Mcintyre be the one to retire Angle unless they could get Elias into that match

There is also the cruiserweight title match too so its a pretty stacked card and im super excited.

Already have the next day booked off work

I'm on holiday in Florida during Wrestlemania so I may actually for the first time in my near 30 years as a fan be able to watch it live without having to stay up until the early hours.

Oh, haha, I always forget about the time zone differences with you guys, even when #Heel is staying up until dawn to watch. :p

TBH I've found I kinda like waking up in the morning to watch the Japanese and Saudi events, but if you've never done it there's a lot to be said about watching it live too, especially on the west coast where you can be done watching at a reasonable hour to get a good night's sleep.

I actually don't think I'd watch PPVs live if I lived even on the east coast. I'm not a teenager anymore, I go out like a light somewhere between 9 to 11pm.

I've never had a problem with watching the events then next day, like you say it's quite nice to wake up and have a PPV to watch. The problem of course is work, if I'm working a Monday and the next few days too I might not get to watch it until the weekend meaning I have to spend all week avoiding spoilers.

Quote Here is the updated WWE WrestleMania 35 card after Monday's Raw. WWE's biggest PPV of the year will take place on April 7, 2019 live from East Rutherford, NJ.

WWE Universal Title Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Raw Women's Triple Threat Title Match
Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
No Holds Barred Match
Triple H vs. Batista
Kurt Angle's Farewell Match
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Andre the Giant Battle Royal
Competitors: Braun Strowman, others TBA
Alexa Bliss will host WrestleMania 35

Elias is scheduled for a musical performance

Kurt deserves a far better opponent for his last ever match in the industry. I hope he gets the win.

I would expect Elias to be in the ATGMBR because it would be a waste to just have him sing.

Hs and Deacon in a no holds bared match so neither have to take a major bump.

Meh...

Becky vs Rousey could have been booked so much better than it has been. It really could have been huge, but I feel like they've all but ruined it at this point.

Seth vs Lesnar is a total bore.

I could have booked a far more entertaining feud between Batista & HHH. This is lame.

Angle vs Corbin, Angle will put over Corbin because he's a good guy trying to do the right thing on the way out, and Corbin is just as boring and off-putting as Lesnar.

Shane is the worst thing to ever happen to The Miz. Miz went from arguably the best thing in the industry 6 months ago to a complete snooze.

AJ vs Orton is crap on paper, yet there is this glimmer of hope it could be fantastic. This is one of the few feuds I'm optimistic about due to their promos last week. I just hope they keep it up this week or it could go back to being just as boring as it ever looked like it would have been.

Bryan vs Kofi is the saving grace of WrestleMania this year assuming Kofi gets the win and the title... and the match.
