Quote According to SkyBet.com, the following are the very early betting odds for the main event of WWE’s WrestleMania 35 pay-per-view event in 2019:

Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey – 8/11 (favorite)

Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns – 8/1

AJ Styles vs. Daniel Bryan – 12/1

Daniel Bryan vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – 12/1

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz – 12/1

Braun Strowman vs. Brock Lesnar – 14/1

Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns – 16/1

Dean Ambrose vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins – 16/1

Asuka vs. Ronda Rousey – 18/1

Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan – 25/1

WWE WrestleMania 35 will be held at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, April 7th, 2019.

That favourite would be a dreadful way to end the biggest show of the year. Just putting on two women last just to say they have done another first time ever Dead

Bryan/Reigns from that list would be my pick. Heel Roman showing disgust at this much smaller guy thinking he's his equal. That would make for great promos, and the match would deliver.

It could also work with Bryan up against Brock, which doesn't look likely based on current odds.

Charlotte Rousey is the favorite in betting because it's a favorite by fans to predict, and it's a favorite to predict because they're too cowardly to say it's a favorite in their fantasy booking.

The same can be said for basically all of those matches.

IMO Daniel Bryan would be the biggest draw for the main event slot, either against AJ Styles, The Miz, or Brock Lesnar.

I'm not sure I would go with Charlotte vs Rousey next year as the main event. Rather make it the main event of WrestleMania 36. I would spend almost all year next year following wrestlemania building up the 4 horsewomen vs 4 horsewomen feud starting with a tag team feud between Sasha & Bayley vs Shafir & Duke starting right after wrestlemania 35, then later in the year Becky vs Baszler around Summerslam time, and a 4 horsewomen vs 4 horsewomen for survivor series, then at the Royal Rumble finally start the feud between Charlotte and Rousey.

I suppose it's possible to successfully accelerate that timeline to fit for wm35, but I don't know that it's a good idea either. Now that Asuka seems to be getting far less attention, I'm not sure how she'd fit in, but I would love to see Rousey beat Charlotte and then Asuka beat Rousey, but I guess that's just not in the cards anymore.

I have a question for any of the US based members on here.....

I will be in Florida next year when Wrestlemania 35 happens, I did look into the possibility of flying to New Jersey to attend the event but unfortunately it’s quite a distance from Florida so the time consumption along with the cost involved and of course my very pissed off family who are not wrestling fans and wouldn’t be best pleased about me abandoning the Florida family dream holiday for a day or two to jet off to Mania, so all things considered being there in person isn’t going to happen.

My question is stateside do you guys have special screenings of Wrestlemania in bars and so forth where it’s shown on a big screen perhaps and you can get food and drinks etc? Just thinking this might be a option as I can maybe sweet talk the family into letting me abandon them for a evening to do that.

Not usually no. You'd have to call around and find out specifically which bars you might be willing to go to, and then whether or not they'll show it, because some 'might' show it.

That said, if you're going to be in some place like Disneyworld aka Orlando, then it's FAR more likely they'll show it. Certain places in Florida are a hotbed for wrestling related activities, such as Hogan's Bar & Grill, run by the Hulkster himself. If you're going to be anywhere near Orlando or even in Tampa, there's a pretty good chance you could find a place that'll show WrestleMania.

If that doesn't work, then you'll have to resort to finding a room with a smart TV, and logging into your WWE Network account and watching in your room. AND if that doesn't work, then be sure to bring along a nice 10"+ tablet of your own and you'll have to watch on that.

I've heard a number of times from guys like Austin and JR about how they'll end up watching WrestleMania or some other major PPV in a chase lounge out by their pool or some such thing, and they say it's quite a pleasant viewing experience as well.

But yeah, Jersey's like 1000 miles away or some such thing, so that's a pretty huge detour. Hell, I've spent my entire life never even having been to the East Coast. I've been up and down the West Coast from Mexico to Canada, and a couple thousand miles inland, and even out to sea a few times, and I feel like I've travelled a pretty average amount for the typical American (which I understand is far lower than Europeans) and yet I've still never been the 3500 miles to get to the other side of the country. So the fact that you're flying across the pond to visit Florida is pretty big in an of itself.

Just be glad you're going to be there in April. I fucking hate Florida for it's overbearing heat and humidity, but at least in Winter and early spring it's tolerable.

Thanks for the info.

I will take my fire-stick and tablet so should be able to access the Network via a WiFi hookup to watch Wrestlemania, I realise people watching stuff on tablets is the world we live in now and yes watching Mania sat poolside sipping a cocktail or cold beer does have a certain appeal but for such a big event I do like to view it on a full sized screen. Any other PPV I wouldn’t care so much, I might watch the pre-show and some of the undercard on my tab if needs be.

Will keep my eye open for Hogans place though as I reckon that place would do a screening.

I just looked up Hogan's Beach Shop and it's outside Tampa in Clearwater. Apparently it's something of an attraction, and mostly a museum/gift shop, so it looks like I had the wrong impression about the place. I thought it was more of a bar and grill kind of place.

Where will you guys be headed? Are you doing the Disney World thing? Or something else?

Staying in Orlando doing the whole Disney World thing. The Mother in law is taking us as she took her kids several times when they were young and she now wants to take her grandchildren before she gets too old as she’s now in her seventies.

Staying in a villa with a pool so may just watch there on the Network.

On another note what sort of time is Wrestlemania likely to start Florida time?

Well preshow started at 2pm here, so 5pm local time (est).

Glad I live in the west coast... It's over by bed time, not mid night.
