-- WWE sent out the following earlier today, thanks to reader Simon for sending this in:

WWE comes to Norwich, England for the first time ever with WWE Presents: UK Championship Live from Epic Studios on Saturday, 6 May at 7 p.m., and Sunday, 7 May at 5 p.m.

Tickets go on sale today at 1 p.m. GMT at livenation.co.uk.

Fans will see inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion Tyler Bate, plus Trent Seven, Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews, Wolfgang, Tyson T-Bone, Sam Gradwell, James Drake, Joseph Conners, Dan Moloney and Saxon Huxley. Also appearing will be Superstars from WWE’s Cruiserweight division seen on 205 Live on WWE Network, including Rich Swann, Akira Tozawa, TJ Perkins, The Brian Kendrick and Tony Nese.*

“It’s exciting to come to Norwich for the very first time,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Executive Vice President, Talent, Live Events & Creative. “The passion of our fans in the UK makes every show an incredible, unforgettable experience.”

The first one worked because it showcased UK talent so I hope the crowd shit all over the cruiserweights that shouldn't be there.

I can see Paige making an appearance with it being her city.

The Sunday show is too early. I'd have stuck with the 8 pm start of the first tournament.

Well it's not a UK Championship 2 is it? It's them doing an event in Norwich, so I wonder who'll get a shot at Tyler Bate? Probably Pete Dunne.

Been advertised poorly by E. I forgot it was on tonight in one and a half hours.

I wonder if Paige will make a special non wrestling appearance in her home city.

Seen pics on Hs Twitter. The venue looks rubbish and the fan chairs like plastic patio ones you have in your garden for BBQs.

Is anyone else watching this? Wolfgang and Joseph Conners just opened up with a very good match, went about 10 minutes, with Wolfgang getting the win with his spear and subsequent Senton. In addition to that, not even that far in and I already think that Jim Ross and Nigel McGuinness should be the permanent commentary team for all NXT and all the UK stuff.

And just finished up is a tag team match with TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick facing Dan Moloney and Rich Swann, with TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick getting the win. Up next is a #1 Contenders match between Trent Seven and Pete Dunne.

Jim Ross and Nigel Mcguinness are really good together on commentary.

Matches have been of an high entertaining quality, no complaints from me.

Fan chants have been excellent calling TJP a wanker and a lone idiot who chanted TNA getting the whole venue chanting DELETE at him LOL

The venue is shit though, way down on the class of the Blackpool show and the plastic garden patio chairs don't help.

Really enjoyed the show. Missing JR on commentary for so long. The Brits are lit AF! Love the technical schemes and styles. can't wait for the weekly show later this year.
