For me it has to go down as one of the best WWE PPV’s for years.

It did a lot of the brand supremacy storyline but it also did a hell of a lot in helping to build up newer talent .

Asuka and Strowman come out of it looking absolutely dominant (as predicted and rightly so) and The USO’s cemented themselves as the best tag team in WWE right now.

Guys like Roode and Nakamura didn’t really gain much due to early eliminations and the finish in the main event wasn’t good but they are probably two minor complaints if you look at the bigger picture.

WWE will do well to top that in this seasons worth of PPVs

New Day/Shield was a good match but it left me wondering what was missing that would have turned it into a great match. I do hope we get to see these teams go at it again in the future. Obviously a predictable outcome but some nice spots in the match too, especially the double Midnight Hour and the Super Triple Powerbomb.

Womens SS Match was ok. The order of the eliminations was a bit weird early on, and I didn't like how they had Nia counted out. Cool moment with Nia & Tamina in the ring together though...and who doesn't want to see a proper Asuka/Natalya feud? Raw won as expected with Asuka on the team.

Corbin/Miz was actually better than I expected, with the result I didn't expect haha. We know Corbin is well liked so maybe this is the start of a decent build for him? Who knows...Miz was as awesome as ever so nothing to add there.

Bar/Usos was very good indeed. Crowd were a little dead at times, probably down to two heel teams going at it so can't really complain about it. Usos are probably the best duo in the company at the moment so rightly won the match.

Bliss/Charlotte was ok. Possibly a little two paced at times, but can't really complain on the whole.

AJ/Lesnar was superb. Lesnars best match in many years and they actually allowed AJ to better him at times. This match is worth of Main Eventing WM, sod Roman Reigns vs Lesnar again, give us AJ vs Lesnar again!

Mens SS Match...eurgh how horrific was the booking in this one? I really don't get it...yes you made Strowman strong...but you also allowed Trips to remain as a survivor...and Shane was the last man standing for SD...there's really no need for it whatsoever. It's annoying me even thinking about looking back at the match eurgh you spoiled a good evening with this one WWE.

enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. Shield-New Day was MOTN for me, Women's Elimination surprised me by having Becky be first out, but ended right with Asuka taking out the remaining members of SDL, Corbin-Miz was also better than I expected, Corbin seemed to have upped his game, and showed a great ability to turn cheers to boos with just a few words and a sneer. Bar-Usos could have done with having a trim to it, it dragged at points, Bliss-Flair was entertaining, AJ managed to pull a good match out of Lesnar, which made up nicely for how one-sided the start to the match made it look like it was going to be another routine demolition for Lesnar.  main event didn't really hold any surprises. Roode was always going to be first out, Finn and Joe were the expendable members of the Raw team, as was Nakamura. the two surprises were Cena being eliminated and HHH taking out Angle just so he could take out Shane.

solid B-
