I think I'll probably renew for this event. I think the card looks pretty great from top to bottom. At the bottom there are some matches that are ok at best, but as you move on up it only gets better from there IMO.

The question is then, what do they do with the finishes? With so many matches they're all going to be short, just like with WrestleMania this year, but if the finishes are good ones, then I'll be ok. Plus I want to see Takeover Brooklyn... what is this? 3? 4? How many years in a row have they had Takeover Brooklyn at this point?

It's 4, summer slam will be long. Takeover will be batter. The summer slam card looks ok minus Brock vs Roman. And let's hope they don't mess up Miz vs DB, and Samoa Joe vs Aj.

I really don't expect MUCH from Summerslam, but if it's acceptable, then that's fine by me, what I'm really hoping for is the set up for something a lot better moving into next year. This year has been worse than last and last year I was comparing WWE to WCW circa 2000. I guess on the bright side, this year didn't feature the Bayley vs Bliss dignity on a pole match.

It’s a good looking card, Lesnar/Reigns(I know I’m alone here), Miz/Bryan, Styles/Joe, Strowman/Owens, Rollins/Ziggler, Rousey/Bliss and Carmella/Charlotte/Becky are all matches I want to see.

The only downside is the card is incredibly stacked meaning like Wrestlemania several matches will likely be hampered by time constraints and the show will be overly long which may suck the energy out of the crowd as it gets to the later stages.

Thought Bobby Lashley vs Elias may have made the card, seems Bob has been left out in the cold which is strange as at the last PPV he cleanly pinned the top star in the company, talk about killing someone’s momentum.

Gotta say all in all I didn't really have a problem with this PPV.

I think my biggest complaint of all is that they decided to turn Becky Lynch heel instead of giving the title to her. Hopefully she will STILL get the title away from Charlotte though.

Surprisingly my favorite part was just that Balor came out as the Demon King.

I also really liked that The Miz beat Daniel Bryan with brass knucks, I haven't seen that gimmick in ages. I hope this means that The Miz goes on to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship and become WWE Champion once again. He's the best thing in the company today.

As for Bryan? I would like to see Bryan vs Nakamura myself.

I had fun watching Rousey destroy Bliss, too. I would love it if Shayna Baszler were to debut tonight on Raw. Given that Lynch just turned heel, I hope Baszler debuts and then devastates Rousey and leaves her lying in a heap.

It was a ok PPV, nothing was terrible but nothing was great either.

I need to watch Bryan vs Miz again as my phone was going a lot during that match which was distracting me and it seemed pretty decent, I’m glad Miz got a old school heelish win, haven’t seen booking like that in a while.

Styles vs Joe took a while to leave first gear but when it did it got really good, decent storytelling and obviously this feud continues.

Becky vs Charlotte vs Carmella I would say gets match of the night honours, really good fast paced athletic action. Well done to the ladies. I would have preferred a Becky win and Charlotte heel turn and I think Becky is a natural face and Charlotte is better in the heel role but it’s a fresh take on Beckys character and a fresh feud which should be good, plus it potentially sets up Becky vs Rousey at Survivor Series which should be awesome.

Owens vs Strowman pissed me off, all that build up just for a pointless squash, would have been better to just leave the two men off the match card and just have Strowman do his thing at the end. This damaged Owens’ credibility as he was destroyed got in no offence at all.

I would have liked to have seen Alexa Bliss look a bit more competitive but I get they want Ronda to look a beast at the moment, so a dominant title win made sense. The way she was twisting Alexa’s arm looked sick too.

Balor vs Corbin was rushed obviously due to time constraints but good to see the demon back. This feud is boring anyway.

Ziggler vs Rollins was solid like all their matches. Ambrose looked pretty bad ass.

Hardy vs Nakamura was pretty short and memorable only for the sick bump Hardy took. No idea why Orton walked out and then just turned around.

The Elias segment was weird, was he supposed to break the guitar??

Lesnar vs Reigns was well booked, keeping it short was smart as nobody wanted another lengthy match between these two and it seems to have set the stage for Lesnar vs Strowman at a later date. It was entertaining enough and Roman winning had to happen really as we all know.

So like I say nothing fantastic but a solid show from top to bottom hampered a little by time constraints as always but my only real groan was the booking of Owens vs Strowman.

IMHO, the show was really over after Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz.
It's over. It's ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL over!
