Yeah Cena vs Corbin will get added and 2-3 of those listed matches will end up on the pre-show, probably the Cruiserwight match and one of the Women's matches. Big Cass vs Big Show may get added as well but that sounds like another pre-show offering.

Cena vs Corbin officially added. So it's going to be a 2 hour pre-show and a 4 hour main show....yeah read the results and decide if it's worth watching.

I'll be watching and commenting as the show goes.

The SmackDown tag match was ok, don't care that the titles changed. My wife is gonna be pissed Cena and Corbin are opening the show because she is still on her way home from work.

Botchamania has a new soundbyte courtesy of Paul Heyman and Braun Strowman. Braun cut off Heyman, grabbed the mic and said- "You talk too much." Which of course is the name of a segment in botchamania when people can be heard on TV giving instructions in the ring during a match.

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Let's go Cena! Corbin sucks!"
Good thing Corbin's a heel eh? He's got heat.
Oh wow. Cena won, I'm so surprised.
~~~~~~~~~

Natty vs Naomi

This ought to be a good match. I hope Natty gets the title. She deserves one more run with the belt.

Good. Glad Natty won, she deserves it. Pretty good, not great, but good.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Big Show cs Big Cass
Meh. Enzo was by far the most entertaining part of that Trainwreck. Fans even started chanting boring. Enzo oiling himself.up and slipping through the bars was pretty funny, but since WWE doesn't like Enzo the fans don't get what they want.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Orton vs Big Bartholomew er... Rusev.

Umm... Well that was fast. Fuck Rusev huh? Bell RKO outta nowhere, 1, 2, 3.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
God I hate WWE fans. Why would they ever boo Bayley? Fuck these guys, seriously.
Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks.
Wow amazed the alternate for the match won the title. Good match, Better than Natty vs Naomi. Happy for Sasha too. Definitely a watchable match.
~~~~~~~~~~~

Balor vs Wyatt

Nice move with Balor stealing Wyatt's gimmick with the whole "He's got the whole world in his hands" song before his entrance. The cameramen have no idea how to shoot Balor. Poor production, on the main rosters part. NXT did a much better job bringing out the demon during the entrance. That first takeover event I had a hard time seeing Balor and not the demon paint during the entrance.

Not a bad match. I like both guys, I feel like they could have done better, but they certainly didn't lay an egg either. Just good, no more, no less. Balor gets the win, but as always with Wyatt, he never really looks bad in defeat.

~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ambrose & Rollins vs Shesaro
This has the potential to be gamechanging big. Give us the whole Shield tonight. My wrestling wet dream is to see Ambrose and Rollins take the title and then help Reigns take the title from Lesnar. I shouldn't get my hopes up, it won't happen, I know but it's what I want.
Sweet! Ambrose and Rollins are tag champions. Very good tag match, both teams worked well together good back and forth, sweet finish. Now they just need to help Reigns win the WWE title. Wouldn't that be cool?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~

AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens with Shane McMahon as ref.

Very good match, Shane kept it interesting with a lot of storytelling in a match that could have been just another "good match". Credit to all 3 for having a to notch match.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal
Same old same old. Nakamura goes down to the Indian 3MB. Fuck that. Same old tricks same booking as always. They had a chance to do something good there, and make Nakamura champion but whatever... Yawn.
~~~~~~~~~~~
Lesnar vs Joe vs Strowman vs Reigns

That was a super heavyweight spotfest straight out of ECW. That was a must watch match. Shit end. Fuck Lesnar as champion, but God damn what a match.

6 Man Tag was pretty decent for the time it got given. They really are trying to get the hype behind Jordan, and this match is what he needed to gain some exposure with bigger named talents. Jordan taking the fall is slightly surprisng given this too but it worked.

Neville/Tozawa was a decent effort too. Bit surprised they pulled the title switch not only so quickly after Tozawa won it, but on the pre-show too. Neville deserves to be moved on to bigger things so not sure why the title has switched back too.

Wouldn't be an event associated with Raw without having Elias appear right? Surely i'm not the only one that Elias is growing on right?

Excellent tag match again between New Day & Usos. It broke down a lot towards the end...and I thought it was Xavier who was the legal man...so surely a pin on Big E doesn't count?? Yet again i'm surprised as a quick title switch back to the previous Champs but I guess it can be dragged out a bit more.

Cena/Corbin was decent enough. I like how aggressive Corbin was given his briefcase loss. They should have used this opportunity as the start of the rebuild for Corbin, yet Cena goes over? A bit miffed by that decision, even more miffed it only took one AA to put Corbin away when he's supposedly this unstable big man, not clever booking there.

Naomi/Natalya was good. Some nice spots during the match, with the shock factor of a Natalya win. Naomi needs to work on his facial expressions though she didn't look with it at all in that sense. On the flip side how awesome is it to see a Natalya title reign?

When the best bit of Cass/Show is Enzo oiling himself up and escaping the shark cage you know something wasn't right.

Less said about Orton/Rusev the better.

Didn't really get into Banks/Bliss. Maybe it's just me but I was expecting so much more, and yet another surprising title change.

Balor/Wyatt wasn't anything special. I hate, scrap that really hate the fact they had Wyatt seem distracted by Balor jumping up during the spider walk. Wyatt is becoming a joke...great build up to matches but is then booked liked this.

Really enjoyable tag title match between Bar & Shield 2.0. Yet another weird title change taking place, is anyone going to actually retain their titles this show?

Excellent match between AJ & KO. We all know they can deliver together and they proved it again. Both men need to move on now, no doubt KO will be doing something with Shane O, I do wonder who is next for AJ and the US title.

Mahal/Nakamura was ok at best. You can't just blame Mahal for that as he's ever improving, but yet again Nakamura doesn't deliver...when will he click on the main roster? I still say make him just a special attraction again, give him the Lesnar treatment, less will be more.

What a main event that was. Probably the best main event in a very long time, possibly ever at Summerslam. WWE need to pull the trigger on a Strowman title run very soon too, they made him a total star in that match by single handedly taking out Lesnar. Just give us Lesnar vs Strowman, let Braun win, even if Lesnar wins it back at the next PPV, just do it as he's the hottest guy on the roster at the moment they'd be foolish not to capitalise on it.

Overall a very good event. So real surprising title changes, it seems as if WWE just hit the reset button here ready to start again. Maybe we'll see some kind of superstar shake up again on the back of this, and obviously some call ups from NXT. It's the first time in a while I can actually say i'm looking forward to Raw and SD to see what happens next.

I thought it was a poor event, the undercard was lousy, they stacked the card too high and some matches felt rushed and Orton/Rusev was pointless.

Cena/Corbin, another promising heel toppled by Cena in a mediocre match.

Naomi/Nattie I'm sure it was fine but I'm so uninterested in the Women's division right now I didn't really watch it.

Orton/Rusev, senseless burial of Rusev, tragic.

Sasha/Bliss, again didn't really care, seemed ok.

Balor/Wyatt was alright but nothing special. Win for Balor was predictable.

Tag title match was pretty decent. A tag title run for the Shield boys isn't a bad thing.

AJ vs Owens was good but just lacked something for me, just didn't find myself particularly gripped by it.

Mahal vs Nakamura was passable, another average display from Shinsuke, surprised to see Jinder get a pinfall win even if it was tainted by outside interference.

The main event blew everything else out the water, great match that just blasted from one big spot to the next. Only disappointment was seeing another injury angle to limit Brocks involvement, he seems to make a habit of this which once again questions his stamina and ability or willingness to work longer matches.

I easily could have just watched the main event, the matches at the top of the undercard were watchable enough but nothing that left a lasting impression. Trouble was this event just couldn't follow the excellent NXT Takeover: Brooklyn.
