So the most recent Smackdown ratings on Fox have slid to the same or less than what they were drawing prior to the Fox move, so just a few weeks in it seems the big Fox move which was predicted to be a huge boost to viewership has made no difference at all.

Smackdown is currently the worst brand in WWE, it was rumoured that SD on Fox would be a more real sports based product with bigger stars and bigger matches, so far it's been the same old Vince McMahon inspired horribly scripted pantomime like formulaic show. Even the introductions of Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez were very short lived.

NXT has been as good as ever and Raw is at least trying to improve by being a bit more edgy and trying to get new talent over as top guys like Rusev and Aleister Black. There is still room for much improvement on Raw but I much prefer the red brand to Smackdown right now, the only thing that interests me on SD is the Wyatt/Bryan feud, the Roman/Corbin segments the past couple of weeks have been amongst the worst things I've seen in WWE all year.

The horrible booking has Vince stamped all over it, and now Prichard has taken over from Bischoff nothing will change as BP is a notorious Vince yes man and his booking has been responsible for some of the worst storylines in WWE over the past three decades.

Its clear Vince is too old and out of touch to control the creative input of the WWE product anymore and Fox cannot be happy with these ratings, the solution is simple - Vince should take a big step back from creative, focus on the XFL and remain the company figurehead when it comes to business meetings and public appearances and so forth, but the creative direction should be handled completely by Heyman on Raw and Smackdown should be given to Triple H who again should have complete control, the blue brand is now seen as the number one show in WWE and I think Hunter could turn it around.
As for NXT hopefully Triple H could still have time for some input but why not hand it over to Shawn Michaels and William Regal? Two people more than qualified who would have the same vision for NXT as Triple H.

Smackdown was terrible again this week, I only watched YouTube highlights but it was enough to tell me its the same old Vince McMahon formulaic bullshit that everyone is bored to tears with.

SD on Fox is promoted as the A show of WWE, well the irony is its by far the worst brand in WWE - NXT is far and away the best and Raw is steadily improving right now - Smackdown is the worst tv show in all of wrestling.

The problem is Vince, while Raw is showing real signs of getting much better by pushing new stars, taking a edgier approach and actually listening to fan reactions, you can see far less of Vince's booking on Raw and its clear Heyman is enjoying a lot of creative licence there.
Smackdown absolutely stinks of Vince McMahon booking and its obvious Bruce Prichard is a Vince yes man who doesn't have the balls to say how awful it is, or he's just as clueless as McMahon.

It was rumoured that the FOX Smackdown product would be a more realistic sports style theme, that would have been great they could have kept Lesnar as the top star, maybe introduced guys like Cole, Riddle and Lee from NXT alongside great pure wrestlers like Bryan, Styles, Joe, Andrade and others, then Raw could have been the more character driven show.

As things stand the only thing worth watching on Smackdown is the stuff featuring Daniel Bryan and The Fiend and to a lesser extent by association The Miz. As of now the only part of Smackdown I will watch at all are the segments featuring this storyline.

Both SD and Raw are in a really bad place at the minute

It's not even worth watching

The pre SS buzz died off as soon as the NXT talent stopped appearing

Raw is a much better show with steady signs of improvement. You can see Vince has less involvement and Heyman is given more creative licence. I like how guys like Rusev, Aleister Black, Kevin Owens and Buddy Murphy are being pushed more and now Seth Rollins is back to his better heel role, I also like that Randy Orton is back to being a more tweenerish character, Raw is pretty good right now.

Smackdown is horrendous, it's everything that is wrong with WWE. If it wasn't for Bray Wyatt I would just switch it off completely, I actually hope they switch Bray to Raw so I can just remove SD from my wrestling tv schedule.

Smackdown was better this week.

I enjoyed the storyline with The Miz where he slowly turned heel on Kofi, this was well executed and told a story rather than the unexplained face/heel turns that so often happen. Great to see Morrison back too and they teased a alliance of JoMo and Miz which I hoped would happen.

Bayley is boring but I'm liking the development of Lacey Evans' character, Sasha should be pushed as a top heel not Bayley's sidekick.

The stuff with Roman/Bryan and Corbin/Ziggler was fine, they gave a little tease of a DB vs Roman match for the belt at Wrestlemania which I would prefer to the rumoured Roman vs Wyatt match. Decent brawl between Bryan and The Fiend to wrap up the show.

Another improved episode this week.

I enjoyed the opening segment with New Day and The Miz and Morrison a lot, this was probably the show highlight for me.

Couple of Firefly Fun House segments to build the Wyatt/Bryan match were quality as always.

Mandy Rose vs Alexa Bliss was worth watching just because these two ladies are so easy on the eye.

Bayley is terrible but I'm enjoying how Lacey Evans' character is evolving.

The main event which saw the Usos take on Ziggler and Corbin was solid stuff too and this saw the return of Bobby Roode.
