New Day and their pancakes...oh deary me!

Mahal vs Woods - Not quite sure what to say other than it was an ok match. Big E throwing pancakes was better than the match!

Roode vs Mojo - Another ok match. I know Mojo has a limied moveset but he can do so much more. Two ok at best matches in a row isn't making for an exciting SD yet.

Wait they're doing the final tonight too?? Where's the rest of the SD roster haha.

Becky/Charlotte/Naomi vs Riott Squad - A better match. Riott squad needed to win here to continue this whole storyline so the right team won.

Could see Benjamin/Gable attacking the Uso's a mile off...I think the title switch is coming at the Rumble.

Mahal vs Roode - Saved the best for last. Much better match second time around this evening for these guys. I do wonder where Dolph will fit into this scenario now as we know he's going to return soon enough haha.

Ok show overall.

I did initially think the title change was coming at The Rumble but now i think theyve done so much to make me think otherwise.

The loss to Chad and Shelton followed by beatdowns and promos making me think that all of this has been done to re-establish them as a threat

Normally champions show a level of vulnerability before they retain

I cant see Chad and Shelton having all of this momentum and effectively looking so much better than The Usos and then taking the title at The Rumble because The Usos have been so dominant for so long it just wouldnt make sense to me to do it that way

Am I the only one here that is confused on wether or not Shane McMahon is a heel or face? The dude is a heel to me. Shane took it too far in the hell in the cell almost costing Kevin his life until Sami came in and revived Kevin and drug him out of harm's way. Shane got furious and is trying everything at the expense of his own show's creative process just to take out two Canadian wrestlers. That is beyond petty...

Kevin Owens is 100% correct. Ignorance is the official language of Washington D.C.

Just watched Smackdown and it was poor

IF they have Nakamura win the Rumble its an absolute travesty - hes horrible to listen to and i dont find him to be anywhere near the top talent in terms of in ring ability

I doubt they'll have Nakamura win. More than likely, as much as I hate to say it, have Reigns win so they have can Brock/Roman II at WM. As for SMACKDOWN! It wasn't great but it wasn't terrible. I missed the ending, what happened in Styles/Zayn? Did Owens interfere?

Quote Tonight's Smackdown Live preview from WWE.com is below:

Charlotte Flair, Naomi & Becky Lynch to battle The Riott Squad this Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE
Charlotte Flair’s quest for payback on The Riott Squad will explode this Tuesday when the SmackDown Women’s Champion teams up with Becky Lynch and Naomi to battle Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan on SmackDown LIVE.

How will WWE Champion AJ Styles deal with his upcoming Fatal 5-Way Match?
Last Tuesday, WWE Champion AJ Styles went into SmackDown LIVE with only two opponents challenging for his title at WWE Fastlane. By the end of the night, The Phenomenal One had four challengers, as Dolph Ziggler and Baron Corbin earned their way into what has become a Fatal 5-Way Match. Styles has made it clear that he’s not the biggest fan of how Daniel Bryan has been handling the situation with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, but what will he have to say now that Bryan and McMahon’s decision-making has backed him into a corner on The Road to WrestleMania?

The New Day to battle Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable on SmackDown LIVE
One week after Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable interrupted Big E’s attempt to break an all-time pancake-eating record — an insulting interruption that preceded a loss to The New Day — SmackDown LIVE General Manager Daniel Bryan has decreed that the teams will square off once again this week, and the winners will challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Titles at WWE Fastlane.

Is Bobby Roode’s U.S. Title reign in danger?
Randy Orton has vowed that he’s coming after Roode’s title, but with Jinder Mahal ready to interject himself, will he have a clear road to the star-spangled championship?

Are The Bludgeon Brothers on the hunt for The Usos?
The Usos continued to explain why they have the rest of the Smackdown LIVE Tag Team division on lockdown, but Jimmy & Jey’s message was cut short by The Bludgeon Brothers. Appearing in front of a monitor that was playing the SmackDown Tag Team Champions’ missive, Harper & Rowan wielded their mighty war hammers and smashed the screen to pieces. Now that the champions are seemingly in the crosshairs of The Bludgeon Brothers, is The Uso Penitentiary in danger of demolition?

They have a lot to live up to after the show Raw put on last night.

Nothing in the preview stands out, but it's important Smackdown tonight does something significant.

The most obvious thing to tip to happen might be for the Usos to be laid out by the Botch Bros.

Smackdown seems to be the better show the last couple weeks, but TBH while I enjoyed smackdown fairly well this week, after watching this morning on hulu and then moving right into running errands and doing chores, etc., I've already forgotten most of what happened. Nothing stood out except for Nakamura's announcement of a Last Man Standing match, which sounded pretty good, really.
