So the elimination chamber is officially back, so I guess that puts AJ vs Cena 2 out of 3 falls out of the question.

Good opening segment. I'm glad they're pushing Miz to the upper card as he deserves it, even if it's just for the EC build up.

AJ vs Miz was a good match until that crappy finish.

Nikki/Natalya segment ended a bit below the belt with the whole "ex uncle" and "dying alone" bits, bet Bret will have plenty to say about that.

I enjoyed Ambrose vs Orton. Sure it was mainly used to further the dissention in the Families ranks but hey it was a good match.

The Kings Court was the 2nd distastful thing of the evening, I know Jerry would be fine with it but yeh not good for a family orientated show.

Really solid main event for the SD womens Championship. I would have liked them to keep Mickie under the mask for a while longer but I can live with a probable Becky/Mickie feud going forward.

Disappointed once again in Smackdown. Everyone keeps saying it's the best show, but that's complete bullshit. Becky vs Bliss was the only good thing on the show.

NXT is the best show. Smackdown is just the better show than Raw.

I don't even think it's better than Raw. It's just more consistently mediocre, whereas Raw has abysmally bad segments, and other great segments, as well as abysmally bad shows and other great shows. Smackdown is just always ok.

Raw as a whole is a better product it's just where it's longer there's more to complain about but the parts that are worth watching I would say are stronger than most of what you see on Smackdown.

It was a decent Smackdown this week though, I enjoyed the opening segment featuring who are in my opinion the top guys on the blue brand at present, loved Miz's line about AJ growing his hair out to become America's top soccer mom.

I liked the Kings Court too, maybe it was in poor taste but it was a great way to put heat on Ziggler who was excellently heelish throughout, Lawler obviously approved the segment anyway or he wouldn't have done it.

Solid matches between Ambrose/Orton and Becky/Alexa and great to see Mickie back which may finally get me interested in the SD Women's division. Good episode.

Loads of good moments on the usual standard of quality we know we get on Smackdown.......

Storylines were furthered and we got the return of a future HOF'er to give the rub to the new breed of women.

If you want to see more wrestling and less silly stuff it's the number one show.

Thought SD was ok this week, nothing special but nothing horrific either.

I would have preferred to see them do some qualifying matches for the Elimination Chamber rather than them just announcing the matches. It's also very poor that they put the IC Champion in there so that belt can't be defended at the event unless the unexpected happens of course.

Harper showing to team with Cena was obvious though it's kind of weird that Harper is the one they've turned face at the moment, it won't last surely? The tag match itself was perfectly fine but Cena eating the fall after beating AJ on Sunday was a bit of a shocker.

Another standard Carmella match, I do wonder who they'll pair this odd couple up with going forward, maybe someone will side with a returning Eva Marie eventually?

Ziggles/Kalisto was what it was, i've never been fond of the whole "trying to unmask" thing though.

Womens tag match was fine. I assume we'll be looking at Naomi vs Becky at EC then, and possible Becky vs Mickie? Or will three womens matches on one card never happen?

The tag segment was pointless for me. SD's tag team situation needs a big overhaul as there isn't anything wow about it at the moment, aside from AA & Usos. Maybe Revival will make their way to SD pretty soon to help that situation.

Nikki/Natalya is just meh, it's been very meh for a while, so please let this end at EC.

Main event match was again a fine match. It was obvious what was going to go down as soon as Corbin/Miz made their appearances. Corbin and AJ leave standing this week, it'll be all change next week as we know how WWE likes to show people as equals ahead of multimen matches.

Like Raw, SD has plenty it can improve on heading towards Mania, but my guess is it'll be a safe couple of weeks before the EC.

By letting American Alpha issue an open challenge, creative booked themselves into a corner.

Quite rightly every team on the brand was booked to want a title shot because if a team didn't come out they would look shit to fans.

But then it turned into a clusterfuck with a massive brawl that didn't come over particularly well.

So my SD views.

Opening segment was fine, and a fatal 4 way off the bat? I'm happy with that.

Really enjoyed the fatal 4 way match, and whilst i'm not shocked Corbin won, I am shocked AJ took the fall. I've said for a while they've got it good with Corbin if they play it right, and at the moment they are, I just hope they got a WM plan for him.

Crews/Ziggler was nothing more than a feud add on so less said about that the better, and it also setup the match announcement later in the show.

The contract signing segment was fine, Mickie probably showed them all how it should be done though, and i'm actually looking forward to see how she goes on Sunday as our previous view on Mickie was against Asuka, who puts on a solid match all the time, so this will be a test to see where Mickie currently is.

Multi team tag was ok. Again the most shocking thing is the fact The Ascension won, what's up wid dat? Sorry Hurricane LOL

Cena/Orton delivered as usual. A bit shocked that Cena pinned Orton and it wasn't a DQ by Wyatt looking to get the upper hand, but I guess with EC on Sunday, Cena needed a big win.

Soild go home show overall, let's hope Sunday delivers.

Battle Royal for a number one contender to face Bray Wyatt at Wrestlemania makes Smackdown tomorrow night already more interesting than Raw tonight.

Who will win? Could be a swerve with Randall turning up in it, winning so technically he's got two title shots and the match going down.

Daniel Bryan mentioned on Talking Smack how James Ellsworth doesn't wrestle much to say he's on the roster, so maybe he's going to get a rare match.
