So if anybody is fan of wrestling games or expresses the slightest interest all, I invite you to check this thread as I will be keeping track of my story mode in the PlayStation 2 edition of WWE SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth, one my favourites in the franchise right next to Here Comes the Pain, Know Your Role and SVR 2006.

This is kinda one of those "Let's Play" videos you see on YouTube, except it will be in write ups on a daily/weekly basis. So let's begin shall we....

APRIL WEEK 1:
I have choosen to play as Rob Van Dam, who is the current reigning Intercontinental Champion. It starts off a introduction from Linda McMahon announcing the Brand Exsention, therefore Ric Flair owns RAW and Mr. McMahon owns SmackDown. I skipped the draft and decided to keep the normal rosters to save time. First up I have Chris Jericho in one-on-one action.

I am approached by Ric Flair in the backstage area and he welcomes me to Monday RAW. One great thing I remember about this game was the free roaming aspect around various parts of Madison Sqaure Garden and New York City! Love being able to go up to random Superstars and Divas and get in altercation. Unfortunately, Molly Holly was the only person to talk to, so I went in the V.I.P. Room to check my Superstar points, it's 82 at the moment. I go down stairs and find Test, I talk to him and he says something along the lines of "You can't join us! Your a jerk!" I'm guessing he doesn't want me apart of the Un-Americans? I was left pretty confused. I knew Test was in the opening match against Bubba Ray Dudley, so I interfered and cost him the match for calling me a jerk. I soundly defeated Chris Jericho and afterwards I got on the Mic and challenged Undertaker for the Undisputed WWE Title.

WEEK 2, APRIL 2002:
Well, as fait would have it, I'm going up against Test in the opening bout of RAW. Guessing he wants revenge for last week.

Man I'm gonna get my PS2 and see if I can find a copy of this game, Only remember how good it was as you stated about the exploration aspect.

Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

WEEK 2, APRIL 2002 (continued):
So before my match with Test as was approached by Jim Ross in the backstage area. JR explained to me that they had already found a number 1 contender so now I have been entered in 4 man tournament between myself, Booker T, William Regal and The Big Show to see who will face the Undisputed Champion at Judgement Day. The winners of the first two matches will face eachother at BackLash in the Finals.

After that little altercation I talked to Kane in the Boiler Room telling me to careful not get injuried. The same individual who sets people on fire is giving me advice about staying healthy.

I then went on to beat Test.

By the way, if you haven't played the game, I don't to spoil the Stone Cold part in week one as it is probably one of the best cut scenes in the game.

So I just made past the first PPV, Backlash 2002 and have competed the month of April, and I'll just give a quick run down of the events leading up to it.

- WEEK 3: Rob Van Dam defeated William Regal by Submission to advance to BackLash
(This match was Champion vs. Champion as Regal holds the European Title. I used the steal finisher move to apply the Regal stretch to make Regal submit)

WEEK 4: Rob Van Dam & Booker T defeated Big Show & William Regal
(I pinned Big Show)

BACKLASH:
Rob Van Dam defeated Big Show to become the Number One Contender for the WWE Undisputed Championship.

I also had a Intercontinental Title defense later on in the show against Kurt Angle in a Ladder Match. I retained my Championship.

Jeff Hardy won a Fatal 4 Four Way to capture the Cruiserweight Title by defeating Hurricane, Eddie Guerrero and Rico.

As far as backstage encounters, I had some confrontations with the likes of Kane, Al Snow, Christian and the most interesting one being with Shawn Staisk.

To kick off the month of May 2002, I have been invited to participate in the up coming Insurrection PPV in England. I have no idea what role I will play in that event.

Anyway, I have a tag team match with Kane as my partner against one half of the WWE Tag Team Champion's Lance Storm and William Regal. Find it odd Storm isn't paired with Christian though since they are the Tag Team Champion's

WEEK 1, MAY 2002:
Well, what an eventful week to say the least. First up, the conclusion of RAW resulted in myself and Kane defeating Lance Storm and William Regal when I hit Storm with the Five Star Frog Splash.

Actually, wait a minute, before that, I decided to get myself involved in the opening Hardcore Tag Team Match as it featured the reigning Hardcore Champion, Bradshaw teaming up with Spike Dudley vs. Raven & Rhyno. I figured that 3 out of the 4 were ECW Alumni that I'd might as interfere and join the fray. This was a blast, I actually performed the coolest move I've ever done in any SmackDown game when I set a ladder up on the outside of the ring and did, get this right, a freaking spilt leg moonsault back inside the the ring, successfully landing on Raven and taking out everyone in the process including the referre!

Anyway, after the match Undertaker comes out to congratulate me and says he has a special stipulation for our match at Judgement Day he's going to tell me next week. That should be interesting...

However, my week doesn't end there as I end up in jolly old England at the the Insurrection were I have apparently challenged William Regal in his home country. Regal excepts but on one condition, that the European Championship is on the line...Well bloody hell that's just fine by me! Here are the quick results of the PPV across the pond:

- Eddie Guerrero defeated Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match to win the Cruiserweight Championship.

- Yours truly captured the European Title by beating Sir Regal (DOUBLE CHAMPION!)

- Booker T & Goldust successfully dethroned Lance Storm & Christian in a Tag Team Steel Cage Match. Thus, we have new Tag Team Champions as well.
