So now instead of Rusev we get to see the Casket Of Jericho. Drink it in mannnnnnn.

Not sure who my Oil Rumble winner is yet. I would have thought though that E would have announced the winner can have a title shot.

Nobody seems to know how many tickets have been sold. I suspect the venue will look dead and only have a few thousand.

WWE will hopefully hand a future title shot to the Royal Rumble winner to give it more purpose.

Read a report that said the original booking saw Roman Reigns beating Brock at Wrestlemania then having the rematch with Lesnar in Saudi then plans changed so does that mean we can expect Roman to lift the title here? I hope not but my gut feeling is that’s what will happen as I think WWE just delayed Roman’s win for shock value at Mania.

It’s a good card and potentially a better show than Wrestlemania.

This is what i meant also when i said earlier there will be a big title change

Theres the shock factor of mania meaning that WWE trolled everyone who had Reigns as a certainty to win, plus then you have the WOW factor from this super event.

I see it as similar to when they had styles win the title on a house show - it made the fans think twice about expecting to see the same old same old at every house show and that big title changes were a possibility

Quote The feeling is that Roman Reigns winning the Universal title is imminent and probably likely to occur in Saudi Arabia at the Greatest Royal Rumble event, because it's doubtful that Vince McMahon will book him to lose a cage match. The popular belief seems to be that McMahon has not given up on Reigns but has simply postponed his title win to a later date.

-- However, there remains an outside chance that McMahon could abandon a Reigns title win altogether and go with someone like Braun Strowman instead, due to the fact that Strowman is significantly more popular. The downside with Strowman is that he's not as versatile in the ring and would need to be protected more in his matches and booking.

Vince getting the title on to his number one boy, at a babyface friendly venue that still will believe in kayfabe.

No female seen on the card, not even in a none wrestling role because the money is more important than the women's revolution.

I don't think Finn Balor will be wearing his LGBT rainbow coloured ring attire there like he did at Wrestlemania.

Vince is the ultimate troll and the show hashtag is going to be full of hate when it's over.

Women are not allowed to compete in sporting events in Saudi Arabia. I am not making that up it is illegal there lol. Having the RR there with no female match, after the historic first all female rumble the next rumble it won't be on the card at all.
Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

I love the WON.

"The feeling is..."

Yup, that means it's definitely going to happen.

Yeah E are more bothered about the cash and always have been. It's like when they go on about women breaking down barriers, when it's them who put up these barriers for them for years.

I wonder why Rusev is back to facing The Undertaker......I wish E would make up their mind.

Poor Rusev having to buried in two ways by the old man cripple.

I do hope that whoever wins this "Greatest Royal Rumble", they'll have the win mean something, give the guy a push/storyline around it, because if not, I don't see the point.

I also question WWE wanting to do 1. The rare Brock Lesnar loss. and 2. Such a big title change. Considering the time difference, I doubt there will be many in the US, their main audience, watching the show live, if any at all. If it's not being viewed well live, I don't think it's smart to have Reigns go over this show.

Quote The 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble special is scheduled to air on April 27 at the King Abdullah International Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In addition to the battle royal, every major title is scheduled to be on the line, with the exception of the women's championships. Undertaker is also scheduled to compete against Rusev in a Casket Match, and John Cena is scheduled to compete against Triple H. The winner of the Greatest Royal Rumble will receive a trophy.

The tickets were originally scheduled to go on sale a month ago, but were delayed. According to the The Wrestling Observer, the process of ticket sales and seating has been a disaster.

In an attempt to sell out the stadium, which has reportedly never been done before with other sports, WWE is selling tickets between $2.70-$5.30 USD. There is also a VIP low-level seating area that is selling at about $80 USD, but these seats are only allowed for Saudi General Sports Authority President Turki Al-Asheikh and his colleagues.

In addition, there are only two ticket options: one for bachelor men, and another for families. For the family option, it must include a female attending. The bachelor tickets are at the top of the stadium and are sold out, leaving only the family option. As a result, irate fans have emailed WWE with their frustrations. There is a possibility for more singles tickets to be released before the event occurs.

A fan on Twitter recently vented his frustration on the seating arrangement. He stated that he booked single tickets, but there was a rearrangement in the seating positions. Now, his old seats are in the families section, which he is not allowed to enter. He did not receive any email to clarify what happened to his booking, or where his new seats are going to be.

The Greatest Royal Rumble event is scheduled to air live at 7:00 pm in Saudi Arabia on April 27, which is 12:00 noon US Eastern Time. As always, we will have live coverage of the event.

One pound ninety four pence for the cheapest tickets, makes it almost worthwhile going and risking being beheaded by a local for being a western gentleman.

Going to be good watching a live E show. I hope they have good air con because during the Oil Rumble show it's probably going to be in the 40s degrees wise.

I hope at least some of the crowd are smart marks. Be weird listening to a crowd of no smarks.
