Covered the Goldberg vs The Undertaker match in their thread, a real shame that a pretty good effort was ruined by a injury suffered during the match.

The rest of the card was pretty throwaway stuff mostly, only other matches I particualry enjoyed were Triple H vs Randy Orton who wrestled a great old school style match, probably the best match these two guys have had. Also Lashley vs Strowman was a surprisingly enjoyable power based match.

Fletch did you watch that video I posted here from Trips? I'd love to read what you have to say about it.

Just watched and I agree with everything you said.

This is what is so frustrating about WWE, when they're good they're so good. They have the talent roster capable of putting out such a great product but they insist on doing so much silly hokey shit, most of WWE to me right now is almost like watching wrestling if it were a kids cartoon. What fans want is more of what we saw in that short interview with Triple H, more genuine from the heart stuff that comes across as real and natural and makes wrestling out to be a legit competitive combat sport and not 'sports entertainment'.

Sadly the only way we will get that level on a weekly  basis outside of NXT is when Vince is dead.

As long as he is alive and well he will want input from a creative stand point

I wouldn't be so sure, he has to eventually take notice of the backlash from fans and talent who are very vocal about what is wrong with WWE and also the buzz of NXT.

Slight tweaks have already been made, the introduction of the 24/7 title for one, this is a belt that was a big part of the Attitude Era(it's the Hardcore title under a different name and maybe a little toned down). Also it's said the third hour of Raw will have more of a edgy feel to it.

And this is just after one AEW PPV. WWE doesn't need to go TV-14 again as they've shown they can have a great product under PG guidelines. They just need to stop the hokey shit and maybe go back to a more New Generation Era style product, they can still have the colourful characters and all the glitz and glamour but overall it should be a more realistic competitive sport style.
