For the women's division the question is who is going up against Ronda Rousey? Is it Becky Lynch or Charlotte Flair? As far as I can tell you could flip a coin at this point. I'd probably lean towards Charlotte since she wasn't in last years and is on record as badly wanting to have been, so I could see her winning and challenging Rousey. Then again Lynch has a really good claim to do the same thing, so... whatever. heheh

As for the men's, well... I don't have a strong guess any which way, but McIntyre sounds about right.

Quote After last night's WWE Smackdown show, here is the updated card for this month's Royal Rumble PPV. The event takes place on 1/27 live from Phoenix, AZ.

WWE Universal Title Match
Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman
WWE Title Match
Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles
WWE Cruiserweight Fatal Four-Way Title Match
Buddy Murphy vs. TBA
WWE Women's Royal Rumble Match
Featuring: Natalya, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan, Ember Moon, Carmella (#30), others TBA
WWE Men's Royal Rumble Match
Featuring: Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, R-Truth (#30), others TBA

That looks so poor for the only major PPV before Wrestlemania.

A couple of title rematches, a cruiserweight filler and Rumble matches filled with talent that has no chance of winning.

It doesn't have a must see feel to it as of it. E need to up their game.

This should be remembered as one of the best Royal Rumble events ever.

It was close to 5 hours long and I did watch it in two halves but this was because I ran out of time not because I was bored, this was a rare occasion with a lengthy WWE PPV where I didn't feel exhausted by about the 3 hour mark.

Every match was top quality, it says something for a show when the worst match is probably Daniel Bryan vs AJ Styles, that's not a criticism of either man it's just out of everything I enjoyed that the least, it just highlights how strong the card was.

The Royal Rumble 2019 has to be a strong early contender for PPV of the year.

It was definitely a massive improvements on the last 8 years I haven't enjoyed a royal rumble ppv since 2009 this one was top notch quality from start to finish

Worst match of the main show I have to agree was Daniel Brian vs AJ Styles it was simply too much of a wrestling match and not as personal as violent as it should've been a gimmick match hell that would've made more sense then to have Eric Rowan coming out.

Finn Balor had me believing that he was gonna win for a second but in the end the fact that he didn't come out as Demon Balor told me straight away he was not winning the match but at least he didn't lose via F5 like everyone else has.

The women's royal rumble was top notch I was so happy that Becky won the match I'm glad they used a lot of the main roster and of course some NXT and NXT UK girls as well it was good to see fellow Australians Billie Kay, Peyton Royce and Rhea Rhipley in the match I would've loved to have seen Toni Storm as well but maybe next year.

Mens royal rumble was great the jobbers weren't in long which was fine, Seth Rollins was the iron man and winner was good, Pete Dunne, Johnny Garganos and Aleister Blacks involvement in the match was well received and I really hope all 3 are in the main roster within the next year, Alesteir in particular I have become such a fan of this guy I truly believe his character and wrestling style is must see every week.

Sasha vs Ronda was probably second worst match of the night, it was good don't get me wrong but there was quite a few sloppy moment from Ronda, also the use of Sasha's attire twice in the banks statement should've been a disqualification straight away especially in the eyes of the ref who needs to act like everything is legit and botched that.

I loved the match between Asuka and Becky Lynch it was really good great way to get the crowd going as well.

I loved the 3d holograms they used during the night I hope they do again in the future.

I also liked the 3d holograms Shiz ... they really seemed to add something extra to the network coverage

its a good alternative, for TV viewers, to pyro

I wonder if the live audience could see the augmented reality overlays through an AR viewer or if it was simply for the TV audience? Like, if they looked on their phones' cameras they would have shown up?

That would be great of they could do that

It all adds to the live experience because they would look really impressive when you actually see them in the arenas.

They need to mix it up abit because they are making entrances boring
