I wouldn't bring back the top ladies like Lita or Trish because you can't win with them. Either current roster looks weak being eliminated in their prime by two older women or the nostalgia acts get eliminated quickly as if to say they can't go anymore.

I would prefer the names slightly below them to be brought in like Torrie Wilson, Stacey Kiebler, Molly Holly, Victoria, Jacqueline, Beth Phoenix, those kind of names.

My money is on the first returning WWE diva being Kelly Kelly. Either the first confirmed, or the first one to show up in the royal rumble match, whichever comes first.

There’s room for a lot of one off appearances in the ladies Royal Rumble match which is great as makes it all the more interesting, I expect to see any from Lita, Trish, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Kaitlyn, Eve, Eva Marie and Victoria.

As long as they don't screw it up and have the winner be James Elsworth it should be good.

Released*

He signed a one year contract and completed that year. He did everything asked of him and more. I miss Ellesworth; he connected with the audience in a huge way - moreso than any debuting talent in the last 15 years.

He was used well, and he played his part well, but I don't like the product with him in it either. To me, that's far more important.

He was good for a few weeks but after that he overstayed his welcome and I can never forgive the fact that he got the money in the bank briefcase for Carmella to me that is a slap in the face for an otherwise good match and it set the women back a few paces

You can't blame HIM for that though. I agree with the sentiment, but it's not on him.

With the women's Rumble, 30 just seems like a bit much. Even counting some of the NXT ladies, you're still having to account for 5-8 spots. That's bit excessive for nostalgia acts and surprise entrants. They could have easily gone with 20 entrants, granted that some of the women would be left out. Would anyone really be disappointed if Lana or Tamina wasn't involved in the Rumble?

I feel comfortable enough thinking that it will be somebody from Raw picking up the win. I doubt WWE will want Smackdown to walk away with both Rumble wins this year. As if Asuka wasn't already a front runner, I think that would pretty much make her a lock (pun TOTALLY intended).

With that being said, I think we can all rest easy knowing that Roman won't be winning it again. Especially not in Philly. If Smackdown does walk out with the win, it does open the question as to who it would be, and the answers may not be very popular. Would really like to think they are not going to go the safe route and hand another win to Cena or Orton. So who does that leave as possible contenders? Only names that come to mind is Corbin, Nakamura, or the loser of the U.S. Championship match between Roode and Jinder. With those names, doubt any of them are going to get the main event spot. Obvious that we're getting Reigns/Lesnar to close out the show.

It’s a stacked card considering there are two Royal Rumble matches, some of the announced line up will surely be on the pre-show.

I’m glad the Women’s match has 30 participants, this gives much wider scope for surprise returns and NXT talents which is one of the most entertaining aspects of the Rumble.

I’m thinking Nakamura or Ziggler to win the men’s match.

On a side note on the Ellsworth discussion I think he had outlived his usefulness after the Ambrose/Styles angle, I’ve never liked this whole loser underdog character stuff, I didn’t watch much of his stuff with Carmella.
