Apparently both Finn Balor and Seth Rollins are in the chamber so this would mark the first time that 7 singles competitors enter the elimination chamber

I loved the opening interaction between John Cena and the Miz. Those two have actually been feuding since 2009 and by this point they have good chemistry with their promos. Their match tonight was better than their WrestleMania main event match.

Sasha vs Bayley was awesome. The women are continually a highlight each week if not the highlight. I like how Sasha got aggressive but Bayley remained herself. I'm glad to see Nia get involved at the end.

I didn't watch the Elias seg. I literally turned the channel and put on the Olympics. But I see that Strowman annihilated him. THANK YOU!!!

The fatal five way was great, but I agree with those that said there should have been a concrete winner.

I didn't like it either. It was a shoddy finish from a creative scared of making one look stronger than the other.

Quote Fatal 5 Way: Bray Wyatt vs. Matt Hardy vs. Apollo Crews vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor: The winner of this one gets the final spot in the Elimination Chamber match. The opening bell sounds and Crews sends Wyatt to the floor early on, then follows up with a moonault off the apron. Crews slides back in the ring and takes down Balor and Rollins. Balor then fires back and knocks Crews off the apron to the outside. Balor and Rollins go at it now until Wyatt comes in, and Balor drops Wyatt next. Matt gets in the mic now and goes at it with Balor and Rollins. Balor hits a slingblade, but then Rollins comes back with a boot to Blor's face. Rollins then blocks a Sister Abigail from Wyatt, and rolls up Wyatt for a two count. Rollins beats on Wyatt, then throws Balor outside. Balor takes Hardy outside with him and they fight on the floor. Rollins goes up top, but Crews crotches him on the turnbuckle. Crews climbs up, then Hardy and Balor run over to block Crews' superplex. Balor and Hardy try to double team, but Wyatt runs in and hits a splash on them all in the corner. Wyatt drops Matt with a clothesline, then hits a neckbreaker on Rollins. Wyatt hits a kick and a rolling senton on Crews for a two count. Matt now fires up and start dropping people. Matt hits a Side Effect on Balor, then attempts a Twist of Fate on Wyatt but Wyatt blocks it. Rollins fires up and starts dropping people now, then he hits two big suicide dives onto everyone at ringside. Rollins and Crews go at it in the ring now, and Rollins hits a suplex and a Falcon Arrow for a 2 count. They continue to fight and they brawl out to ringside. Rollins and Crews trade knees and kicks, then fight back into the ring. Balor runs in and hits a Slingbladed on Wyatt, and Balor starts cleaning house. All five men are now back in the ring brawling. Crews goes for a Gorilla Press Slam, but it's blocked, and Rollins fires back with kicks. Crews hits a kick of his own, then a standing shooting star press for another two count. Matt stunts Crews with a shot, then takes Crews up top. Crews fights back, and then Wyatt pulls Matt down to the floor and hits the Sister Abigail. Back in the ring, Wyatt and Crews start going at it on the turnbuckle. Balor and Rollins run up to the turnbuckle for a big four-man powerbomb. Balor and Rollins both cover Wyatt at the same time, and the ref counts three. Rollins and Balor both start celebrating, and the referee looks confused. The ref keeps arguing that there is no winner.

Winner: No contest

Balor and Rollins argue wihth the ref as RAW goes off the air, and it appears the final Elimination Chamber contestant has not been determined yet.

It quickly got announced both have been put in the chamber. So why couldn't that have been done on Raw, instead of the show rushing off air with no explaination?

The crowd was dead for the moment, because nobody took the time to let them in on what was happening.

I think it was a matter of the show already being late over the time. Raw has always gone past 11 p.m. (eastern time where I am) but that one was running even later than they normally do.

I hope Balor and Rollins don't have to share a chamber pod together as they wait for their turn in the match.

I would assume they'll start with a triple threat. I guess that's fine with me. I can't say it makes much of a difference either way.

Quote According to the WWE Stats & Info Twitter account, Seth Rollins set a record for the longest amount of time that any superstar has been in a match on Raw. Rollins wrestled for a reported 1 hour and 5 minutes, as per WWE.

The 1 hour and 5 minutes spent in tonight's #GauntletMatch by @WWERollins is the longest amount of time any Superstar has spent in match in #RAW's 25+ year history.

— WWE Stats & Info (@WWEStats) February 20, 2018

-- The same Twitter account also revealed another interesting note from last night's Raw:

Before tonight, the last time there were exactly 3 matches on an episode of @WWE #RAW was back in June of 2005, which also featured a 3-on-3 tag match as the main event.

— WWE Stats & Info (@WWEStats) February 20, 2018

Well that's some way to show doubters that Seth isn't carrying any injury. He was excellent.

To open a three hour broadcast with a match that would take up half of it, was very brave, but worked.

Three matches in three hours, which hasn't ever been done before. I think it worked.

Caught the end of the gauntlet match, women's tag and Asuka/Nia segment.

Strowman is a beast.
Mickie James still looks fantastic.
Asuka really needs a mouthpiece.

Did I mention Mickie James is hot?!

Watching raw on Hulu now. That gauntlet match was whittled down to barebones yet has been very good so far. Monday Night Rollins is a good tagline. They've done a good job making him the new Mr. Monday Night. Both matches against Reigns and then Cena we're good and his loss to Elias was well played as well.

I love the presentation of this episode, with the picture in picture interview of Cena backstage with Renee Young after his loss while Rollins and Elias continue. As I write this Rollins is getting the same treatment while Elias continues wrestling Balor. Just the fact that the show kicked off with a match instead of a 20 minute promo is a breath of fresh air.

Another thing of note. From watching Rollins vs Elias I want to see them as a tag team. They look great together.

I saw when I first got online this morning that people were saying this episode of Raw was the best of the year thus far, and I'm already sold.

Triple H booking???

What do you guys think? Is this Vince's doing, or Triple H?

EDIT: Just finished watching the match. It feels like that should be the end of the show. Crazy good from start to finish.

Pretty crazy seeing Double J will be inducted. Just further proof that WWE would work with CM Punk or anyone else given enough time.

Asuka needs a damned manager. She is so badass, and when she cuts a promo in Japanese you can she she is good. You completely defang her by having her pretend she can speak English well enough to understand what's being said to her and then butcher the English language.

Well the fact we got a gauntlet match taking up two thirds of the whole episode seems to have Triple H’s finger prints on it because in all the years of Vince at the helm we’ve rarely if ever seen this sort of booking. Key things that stood out were the strong showing of Rollins who cleanly pinned Vince two golden boys in Reigns and Rollins and the smart booking of The Miz who showed trademark cowardly heel tactics and then Strowman who entered last and showed a short display of dominance to go home with the win. I was only half watching the match as I had it on in the background while I was on my laptop but from what I saw the match quality was very good and the the booking excellent.

So Raw hours one and two consisted of one match that saw storyline development(Miz/Strowman/Balor) character building(Rollins), continued build of Strowman, and for once the top guys stepped aside and put someone over strong.

With the NXT product, the improved 205 Live and now this perhaps WWE are finally heading away from the predictable out of touch Vince McMahon formula and going with a fresher more edgy product.
