Now for the past however long it has been, i have been really against how the Raw Tag Team division has been handled:

The feuds have been lacklustre
There seemed to be about 2 legitimate tag teams
They got about 5 minutes of TV time
etc etc

That is the total opposite of how things have been run on Smackdown - with what seems makes the Tag Team division one of the primary focuses.

I have seen a few posts on here suggesting that maybe The Uso's could be heading to the red brand and up until this week it really didnt make any sense.

However, on this weeks Raw, there seemed to be a shift in the focus on the tag team division.

We have The Shield + Jordan, The Bar, the newly reunited Balor Club, Titus Worldwide, The Hardyz (when Jeff returns), The Miztorage, Slater and Rhyno and The Zo Train all of which seem to be getting more and more TV time

Adding a few top quality tag teams into that mix - one of them being The Uso's could really elevate this further.

It's nice to see the Tag Division getting some focus finally on Raw - in my opinion there should be alot more of this sort of focus and less of the Cruiserweight shit theyve been doing lately.

I was just wondering what you guys think of this and also if you noticed the slight increase of TV time Tag Teams seem to be getting?

I dont think anyone could have predicted Titus Worldwide getting rhe win over The Bar for example and surely that has to be a sign of them mixing things up on Raw.

Do you think they can make the Raw Tag Team Division as prestigious and entertaining as the Tag Team Division on the blue brand?

They problem they'll be faced with is not having anyone close to replacing The Usos if they move them to Raw. With this in mind they'll need to be building teams up that could potentially replace them on SD. The obvious choice would be The Bar...but you move them to SD and the clamour would be to split them.

My guess is the New Day or The Usos will head to Raw in the next shake up, the two teams have had a killer feud on the blue brand but it’s been milked as much as it can be, logically one of the teams needs to switch sides. I personally hope it’s New Day as they are a better fit for Raw.

I would trade New Day for the Revival and Gallows/Anderson for the Bludgeon Brothers and maybe Breezango for Titus Worldwide. I would personally rather see Titus as a manager and have Apollo get a new partner to join Team Titus.

Then you have the Authors of Pain and Sanity in NXT, two teams ready to hit the main roster.

All I am seeing here is an argument to end the brand extension and organize the shows better, enforce rules more, classify weight divisions more clearly, and stick certain divisions on specific shows exclusively.

But then that would be revolutionary to how shows have been laid out, and of course shift things more to how WWF used to be and how UFC is today and that would raise too many hackles, step on too many toes, and of course require creativity.

I can definitely see Usos and AOP moving to Raw after mania, with a lower down move such as Breezango. As well as that I expect Chad Gable to move over and essentially re tell the American Alpha story from start to finish.

In return I would expect Gallows and Anderson to be the one move back to Smackdown in the tag team division, following Finn Balor across. Smackdown has too many tag teams right now and Raw too few. On Raw it's less about teams and more about big names paired together because they have nothing else to do with them.

That would leave Raw with The Bar, The Usos, Authors of Pain, The Hardys, American Alpha, Breezango and Slater and Rhyno and then pairings such as Reigns and Ambrose, Titus Brand et cetera. That's a strong tag division.

Smackdown has New Day, Bludgeon Brothers, The Club, Ascension and then another couple of pairings like Rusev Day, Styles and Nakamura et cetera. Sanity also seem likely for a move to Smackdown because of a focus on trios there. That's also a strong tag division for a shorter show.

The real job of course is to make a big deal out of their smaller teams. Smackdown has done a tremendous job with this, making Rusev Day, Gable and Benjamin, Breezango and even Ascension into much bigger names than they were this time last year.

Time will tell with Slater and Rhyno of course. Raw has not done a good job getting new talent over in the tag division but they certainly have in their mens singles division.

Good call that from four months ago. Half right and after the shake up next week, could be totally right.

Quote Sheamus and Cesaro approach Kurt Angle in the back and say they heard Braun forfeited the tag titles. Kurt says they'll have to recapture them to become 5-time Tag Champs, and Sheamus and Cesaro say they like the sound of 5-time champs.

I wouldn't be against them turning babyface, as their comic timing is brilliant.

With the call up of Authors Of Pain and the pairing of Matt with Bray, the division looks stronger in the space of a few weeks and should look even better next week.

Yeah it seems they actually HAVE a division now. I'm still holding out for Sanity to debut, but I suppose at this point they'll be going to Smackdown.

Id be almost certain theyll be on Smackdown very soon

Really glad to see AOP on Raw - not sure about the issue with Ellering though - seems a waste not to have him with them long term as per NXT

I think Sanity may head to Raw because they are too similar to the Bludgeon Brothers to have them on the same brand. Smackdown have a fairly decent tag scene, its Raw's that needs rebuilding, I would just send the Revival to SD in the shake up and the Usos across to Raw then have Sanity join the Authors of Pain on Raw.

Guys don't forget Braun promised that when Nicholas is done with school they're coming back for those belts. Until then all the next couple of champions would do is keep the belts warm.
