So ive done my review/report on AEW Dynamite and now it is NXT's turn.....

So we start off with Cole v Riddle and the first 30 mins of the show is commercial free so this should make for some great viewing

Cole v Riddle - Fucking hell what a match. The mid-air back stabber was absolutely insane from Cole Bay Bay. The sequence of kicks and then that release suplex from Riddle was one of the greatest things ive ever seen. Riddle can sell like an absolute boss by the way. Holy shit chants throughout and rightly so, this is phenomenal. Fight forever now, i wish they would - this is fucking insane. Cole has picked up the win.

I dont need to watch anything further to say that this match was the best of the Wednesday Night Wars. How the overall show fares, well soon see

Wow Finn Balor thats a nice surprise, the one thing im concerned about is what i put in a different post, i hope WWE dont send all of the people they dont need regularly down to NXT and water down the talent down there with main roster rejects.

I do love the idea of Cole v Balor - as long as Cole goes over.

Io Shirai against Mia Yim was a good match, im really glad Io went over because she is the best woman worker in wrestling at the minute, along with Sasha Banks.

Johnny Gargano v Shane Thorne had some really good spots but for me it didnt go long enough for me - Johnny wrestling is a 5 star wrestling machine and i just feel like ive been cheated out of something somewhat when he isnt given like 30 mins plus per match haha

Candice v Bayszler - this was one of my favourite Shayna matches sicne shes been in NXT. Candice reversal of the Kirifuda clutch was excellent and there were some several near falls. I actually half expected a title change here but im kind of glad Shayna retained - i want her to lose the belt dont get me wrong shes had a really good long run but i want Io to take the belt from her.

Dunne v Burch up now. This should be very hard hitting. Some great striking in this and a pop-up powerbomb from the bruiserweight. Bitter end and its all over.

Damian Priest attacks Dunne - thats a nice move - that is going to be some feud

Time now for Street Profits v Undisputed Era. Street Profits are super over - they are a crazy, fun tag team but they can really go. Wale with the ring walk with the Profits - class entrance.  O'Reilly with his air guitar entrance taking it up to the next level. This was a really fun match with the UE hitting the High Low at the end to retain. Loving the UE having all of the gold.

Holy Shit Ciampa is back!!

Wow - could we get Cole v Balor v Ciampa with Goldie on the line!!

Another phenomenal show from the black and gold brand

Interesting... the Hulu presentation cut NXT short. I hope they fix that soon, it's not like NXT is 3 hours long and full of recaps and commercials. I'd have liked to have seen Io Shirai vs Mia Yim.

It was definitely worth a watch - maybe you can catch it on the network?

Another great NXT episode, so far the wrestling heavy format isn't getting stale or repetitive and Its clear they have more than enough talent depth in the roster to fill out 2 hours each week without repeating the same stuff over and over.

I'm not convinced Balor will be back in NXT long-term but either way good to see him there and a feud between Balor and Cole will be money. Finn Balor has strong NXT roots and fits the style well so he's a good choice for some extra star power.

Riddle and Cole are two of my favourite wrestlers in the world right now so this was almost a dream match for me and they definitely delivered, Takeover main event quality match.

Decent showcase matches for Io Shirai, Gargano and Dunne, looking forward to the Dunne/Priest feud.

Baszler vs Candice was a very solid effort also.

Street Profits vs Undisputed Era was a really good main event followed by the return of Ciampa to wrap things up. Once again quality action from start to finish.
