There is no reason to be sour they should just clap for their champs, and feel the power. It's a new day, and ratings can rise. I have really enjoyed watching the mixed match challenge on the wwe Network. I can't even find a way to get to Facebook watch on my Facebook page. I'm sure if I actually TRIED to find it, I could but I shouldn't even have to look around, it should be abundantly clear how to get there.

Watching the couples together is fun. If it is it's own entity separate from normal storylines, and only semi-kayfabed I think this is great. I mean we are still getting Alexa Bliss and Braun Strowman, not Alexis Kaufman and Adam Scherr. Given how it is a charity event I think it is perfect to see people relax a bit and have fun.

Quote Week 5 of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge on Facebook Watch featured Elias and Bayley vs. Rusev and Lana, taking place from the Rabobank Arena in Bakersfield, CA following SmackDown Live.In this first-round match in the tournament, Lana and Rusev were victorious when Lana pinned Bayley after pulling her off the top rope.In round 2, they will face the winning team of next week’s match between Apollo Crews and Nia Jax vs. Bobby Roode and Charlotte Flair (aka The Robe Warriors). In two weeks, round 2 begins with The Boss Club against Team Awe-ska.

No surprise with the winners. A real life married couple should be able to beat a team of random enhancement talents.

I would expect next week for Charlotte and Roode to pick up the victory.

Then they will probably be the team to defeat Lana and Rusev.

You know WWE actually is on to something with mixed match challenge. This thing takes place outside of the storylines but still with kayfabe, and watching these people interact with each other is a lot of fun.

It's given me an idea for a better way to divide the rosters. Why not do it by title/division?

Say for example smackdowns women and tag divisions as well as the WWE universal championship were dissolved by way of a unification match, and then in its place two new tag titles were added, the women's tag team championships, and mixed tag team championships.

Instead of having a split roster with a fake as hell competition between the rosters, have the championships and the divisions the titles headline exclusive to one program or the other.

So then you could have the WWE Championship exclusive to Raw (or if you prefer that one title could get special treatment and be on both), the IC title would be exclusive to Raw, as well as the mixed tag division, meanwhile on SmackDown the women's championship was exclusive as well as the US title and the men's tag.

Point being that you would see some semblance of continuity of rosters for each show as well as exclusive storylines, but no hard and fast rule that someone belongs to one show or the other, so you could write people into one division or another based on where they were needed most.

Say Sasha Banks is getting stale, throw her into the women's tag division or a while. Say Bliss has nothing better to do, and Braun is due for a babyface turn instead of a monster heel, put them together in the mixed tag division and see a romance bud between the two, while they face off against Rusev and Lana. People would change shows find themselves in completely different storylines headed by different creative teams and it would help both the shows and the people themselves from getting stale and boring.

Ultimately I think the mixed match challenge has been a lot of fun because it's so different and because it's the only real time we see the men and women interact with each other in a feud and not just in long term pairings.
