Quote WWE's next PPV in Saudi Arabia is Crown Jewel scheduled for October 31 in Riyadh. Tickets are going on sale this Monday September 30 and WWE is advertising the following superstars for the event: Brock Lesnar, Braun Strowman, Randy Orton, Kofi Kingston, Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio and more. WWE is also planning on bringing Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair to the event as well.

It's going to feel different a big PPV style event happening on a Thursday.

I will still watch it on Friday like they usually are. I can't imagine many people watching live or wanting to watch it asap on Thursday night.

It won't be as hard as a normal event to avoid spoilers for 24 hours or so.

With Hulk Hogan vs Undertaker advertised it's going to be a pretty big, missable event no one is going to want to see except for nostalgia's sake. I get the feeling that if Paul Bearer were still alive, he would be at this event in The Undertaker's corner as well.

I think the five on five match announced on Raw will be good for nostalgia if nothing else.......

Quote After this weekend's Hell in a Cell PPV, WWE will turn its attention towards the end of the month and Crown Jewel which takes place on October 31 in Saudi Arabia. The first match was announced on last night's Raw with Hulk Hogan choosing Seth Rollins as his team captain along with Rusev while Ric Flair countered with team captain Randy Orton who will be joined by King Corbin.

They didn't say it was Survivor Series style elimination so I guess it's just one fall to a finish.

I would expect Hs to be with Naitch and probably Undertaker to be picked by Hogan.

The last Saudi show was soiled by the horrible Goldberg vs The Undertaker match. At least WWE seem to have learned their lesson and this year are featuring old school legends in a high profile spot but a spot that doesn't require them to do anything physically, this is smart as they can still add a bit of nostalgic flavour while the younger guys get it done in the ring. Knowing Hogan and Flair they will steal the show even just from ringside.

I have no problem with these Saudi nostalgia shows if WWE are smart with the booking, for example this would be a golden opportunity to have The Undertaker vs Drew McIntyre or maybe have a Goldberg/Dolph Ziggler re-match, bring the legends in by all means but book them in ways that their limitations can be covered or in matches where they can be carried.

Thank god Flair and Hogan wont be wrestling at Crown jewel

I have seen something on the Wiki page which is advertising.......

CM Punk v Shane O'Mac for the best in the world title

Not sure if this is something that has been added by some random or if there is something actually official being announced soon

If that is the case, i may watch the event just for that one match only!!

So far it looks like the best ever show they will have put on over there.

This press conference gave it a proper sport show feel and they haven't added a cluster fuck match to the card yet.

Cain and Brock have a legit decade of history and Tyson Fury hasn't ever lost as a heavyweight boxer and next year will get title shots to try and clean up the division. What's not to like?

Best Saudi show on paper by a mile, I'm actually really looking forward to this event.

Big money matches and loads of star power, that what these shows are all about and I'm fine with that. I think we all know this wont be the best show ever in terms of in ring action but from a spectacle and big fight feel it will be one of the most memorable.

The press conference was a nice touch to give a legitimate feeling to the two top matches, I did think Cain Velasquez's mic work was awful though, he kept taking long pauses like he had forgot what he was supposed to say, maybe he had as chances are he was remembering scripted lines.

No Bill Goldberg or The Undertaker announced yet but there is still time, I have a feeling Taker may play a part in The Fiend vs Seth Rollins.

I think Rollins' replacement on Team Hogan is going to be Edge.

Reports of him recently being cleared have been spreading like wildfire, and knowing that, a team setting would be his best use for the first match. He wouldn't have to spend too much time in the ring, and his team can more than carry the match. Sure, Edge can get all his big moves in and all that, but don't overdo it with him.

Another show I'll give a complete miss too there's nothing on the card that is interesting at all to me and I hope that they at least start building up hype for survivors series soon
