It's a nice touch with it being the first time ever the tag team champions fight eachother later the same night.

I would have Roode/Ziggles win the tag titles and it would add more to the main event later in the show.

I wonder if we will see another Shane/Owens match where if Kevin wins he gets back his 100k dollars fine.

Not sure why theyve moved the KOTR final to the Raw after Clash instead of building how prestigious the tournament is by having the final on a PPV.

WWE make some really strange booking decisions, especially when you look at other matches that will make this card instead, such as Reigns v Rowan which didnt really need to happen so soon

My early predictions for the cards are:

AJ Styles over Cedric
Bliss and Cross retain
Rowan and Reigns to end in some sort of finish that sees them both unable to continue
Sasha over Becky
The Miz over Shinsuke
The Revival over New Day
Drew Gulak retains
Orton over Kofi
Rollins over Strowman
Rollins and Strowman retain
Bayley retains against Charlotte

Pretty sure the longterm plan is Reigns vs Bryan and this match with Rowan is building to that, maybe Reigns will face Bryan in a hell in a cell match as that would make the most sense given Bryan tried to ''kill'' Roman so Reigns should want to inflict as much pain and punishment as possible.

My guess is the King of the Ring finals were moved to Raw due to time constraints and also because Gable vs Corbin doesn't really feel like a PPV level match.

This is a solid looking card even if there are no must see matches, the Women's matches have the most appeal aside from the tag match which I will probably sleep through.

So i didnt do too bad with my earlier predictions for Clash of Champions.

So here is my review of the show:

Cruiserweight triple threat - Why this match was on the pre show is beyond me. It was up there with the best matches of the night.

Styles v Cedric - This was too predictable for me, early offence for Cedric with Styles taking control and getting the win. Nothing special in this match given how good both guys are in the ring.

Raw Tag Titles Match - This match for me was an absolute disgrace. The match focused so much on Seth and Brauns "fragile" relationship and their predicament with regards to facing each other later in the show that this match had 0 importance. The tag titles have been used as a prop for ages and now they are on a thrown together team. Not impressed with this at all.

Bayley v Charlotte - This match was also a disgrace. Bayley was made to look so weak against Charlotte and was dominated for the whole match picking up a quick pin out of nowhere. The only positive was that Bayley actually got booed during her entrance but part of that was because Charlotte was the hometown girl. If they just let them have a good old wrestling match, the finish would have went down alot better by showing Bayley to be frustrated instead if being desperate.

Smackdown tag title match - This was a really good match. Im becoming a big fan of the revival and the focus on Woods injured knee was excellent, capitalising on that and taking the time to make him submit instead of going for the pin was also fantastic booking. Great match.

Womens tag title match - This started off well. Bliss looked amazing both in looks and in the ring ability. Im disappointed they took some of the focus off another big title by having the fucking 24/7 title run in. I hate WWE sometimes.

Miz v Nakamura - Disgusted at this match too. The match became all about Zayn instead of being about the prestigious Intercontinental Title match. WWE really have a great way of making their championships seem meaningless.

Becky v Sasha - This was probably the match of the night for me, with exception of the ending. The only positive from the ending is that it gives Sasha an easy out whereby she didnt even lose the match and it did set up a rematch for HIAC really well. Id have preferred Sasha going over in this but i can see the logic behind her winning but by DQ.

Orton v Kofi - Same old stuff we've seen from these multiple times. Was not . fan of this match at all. The crowd even seemed bored of this match too. Neither of them make good champions so they need to give Kofi someone interesting to feud with.

I liked the stuff between Booker and the Profits - i hope he becomes their manager.

Reigns v Rowan - This was what it was. A fight. It was heading towards what i predicted as both men werent giving up but then we got the surprise return of Harper to reunite Rowan and Harper for the 363rd time.  Reigns was over at least.

Rollins v Strowman - This was ok. The tag title match sort of gave away the result of this match for me, had they retained the tag titles, it would have made people think that they could have continued the tension by having Strowman beat Rollins whilst they are still tag champs. I did state in another thread that i thought Rollins would retain due to the imminent match with The Fiend at HIAC.

The Fiend - best bit of the whole show, there was an image where he is standing holding Seths head by his hair whilst hes practically out cold. The HIAC match is perfect to fit The Fiend Character. What they need to do now is have him dominate Rollins and take the title without any real sort of fight.

Overall this was a really poor card for me with exception of 1 or 2 things - The Fiend being the highlight. Im happy we will see Sasha v Becky 2, their match tonight was really good but i think Sasha should have been the one to be DQ'd continuing this new found attitude. Bliss was a highlight as were The Revival.

Overall Grade would be probably a C from me.

Was a pretty weak PPV overall but there were a few things I liked.

I enjoyed the tag title opener, I get the frustration with the tag belts being a prop for a bigger storyline but this was a good match and I'm happy to see the titles on Ziggler and Roode who I really like as a team.

Bayley vs Charlotte I think was a victim of time restraints, they are taking small steps with morphing Bayley into a heel and this was the next step. Charlotte did a good job of retaining her heel character traits while working babyface. But this match was disappointing, too short and a waste of what could have been something really good.

Revival/New Day was good, excellent storytelling and glad to see a strong clean win for the heels for once.

Didn't care much for the womens tag but Mandy and Alexa are very easy on the eye so it was watchable.

The Miz vs Shinsuke was about as good as I expected, felt like filler I would have preferred this on the pre-show and Cedric/AJ on the main card.

Randy vs Kofi was dull and predictable. Orton seems to be going through the motions at this point, poor match.

Becky vs Sasha was decent but didn't like the screwy finish, really this was just the set up to the real match which will happen at Hell in a Cell.

Roman vs Rowan was good, a decent brawl and Harper showing up was a surprise and I definitely didn't expect Rowan to go over by pinfall. Interesting to see where this goes and have to give WWE a little credit for putting a slightly more interesting twist on this horrible storyline by introducing Harper who was a complete surprise as I thought he was done with WWE.

The main event was match of the night, good storytelling which saw Seth overcome the huge odds again to slay another dragon, Strowman looked good and Seth had to dig deep to put him away. The visual of The Fiend at the end attacking Seth was great.

Glad to see WWE keep another show to 3 and a half hours.

So sadly more lows than highs and I agree with Heel's C grade.

It had plenty of decent matches, but not one memorable match, so I would only give it a 6/10.

I would rather see a few shit matches and a few amazing matches, rather than so many being in the middle ground.

Whilst it was worth a watch for the price of the network, the show didn't have a match that I will be rushing back to watch a second time.
