My memory is pretty hazy on my first live show. I was three years old and it was at the Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver, British Columbia. I remember that the Ultimate Warrior - my childhood hero - was there. I also remember that Hulk Hogan was there, but I'll always remember that it was the first time that I saw the Undertaker. He was so big, and he scared me so much, that my family had to remove me from the arena until he was finished because he scared me so bad I burst into tears. LOL

My first live show was a CWA show here in Vienna. Competing for the CWA at that time were one David Finlay and one Darren Matthews, known as Finlay and William Regal, respectively. I don´t remember the exact date of the event, only that I was about 7 or 8 years old. My dad helped build the stage and all and so I was allowed backstage. My dad almost attacked Regal because he pushed me out of the way on his way out to the ring. (Would be a fun thing to watch, come to think of it, my dad´s 6´4", 245lbs and veery muscular... ). Finlay was nice though, at least for the few sec´s I talked to him.

A year later I attended a WWF Live show in Germany, where I had the absolute honor to meet Bret Hart. That meeting was the point where I wanted to start wrestling myself.

And this year in April I was at the RAW Wrestlemania Revenge Tour in Vienna, backstage and met HHH. I was a huge fan of his before, but after meeting him, I´m an even bigger fan now. That man is incredible. I now own a photograph of me and him doing his signature entrance pose together, signed by him. (I got two, a signed polaroid of that and a picture my cuz took with a digicam. Mickie James was nice too, I "accidentaly" ran into her, but she didn´t have much time, she had a Tag match with Maria against Katie Lea and Beth Phoenix coming up... I also had some small talk with Randy Orton, Regal again (I reminded him of the incident in the past, he couldn´t remember it), JBL (an ass.), Y2J (dunno... only said Hi and was going again) and Val Venis (damn, that guy´s nice. I met him when he came back from the ring after losing his match against Paul Burchill, I congratulated him on the great showing and stuff and he totally apologized for losing and thanked me for appreciating his effort and all... The crowd in vienna was also totally behind Venis)

Now I know that that´s not what the topic asked, but I felt like sharing. There ya have it.

That's awesome man, I've been to a few WWE shows but never had the oppurtunity to meet any of the wrestlers, and I'm not the kind to bother stalking them to the hotel after the show and hound them for a pic.. Sleepy

Neither am I. I´m just lucky to know some people here and there... mostly because I´ve worked for them at some point in my life, mainly during my schooltime (my school also provided catering for the upper 10000 if you want)

Since that show in the 80s I've been to see several Smackdown House shows...2 RAW House shows...3 SMackdown tapings...ONE NIGHT STAND 2007 (where I might met Bobby Lashley) and most recently would be Wrestlemania 24. I'm still looking for those damn pictures too. I better ask the wife.

My First live event I can't really remember very well, but my second live event was at The Sheffield arena now the Hallam Fm Arena, there where no T.V. camera's there.

My fondest memory from this event was an Undertaker match with Ken Shamrock. I  just sat there  with arms folded watching the Undertaker and Shamrock go toe to toe, then Undertaker tombstoned Shamrock  folded Shamrocks arms across his chest and looked straight at me and smiled.

I have been to a few  live events, around the Greater Manchester area. I was at the  Manchester evening News Arena when Mick Foley Came to the ring and started telling us  that he  heard that we had a Football team that was doing very well ( Manchester Untied ) I think that's when they won the treble in 1999-2000.

Cheers

6/19/01 SmackDown! Orlando, FL

1. Big Show d. Spike Dudley

2. Kane & Hardy Boyz d. X-Pac & Justin Credible & Albert

dark match. APA d. Holly's

3. Kurt Angle & Rhyno d. Edge & Christian

4. Hardcore champion Test d. Perry Saturn

dark match. Raven d. Haku

5. Tajiri d. Taka Michinoku

6. Dudley's d. Tag Team champions Chris Jericho & Chris Benoit to win the titles

I was 9 and I remember it so well it was the most amazing experience in my life. I remember that during the show Steve Austin came out and beat Michael Cole senseless. It was great! I went with my older brother and every one he rooted for won, I rooted for every one that lost.... I mean it was so perfect. Because when your at a live show your in the moment. You forget about the logical pick to win, and who you dislike and who you like. Because you cheer, you boo, you chant, and do the wave like an idiot. You just care about wrestling. LOL. I couldn't talk for a week after the show I had screamed so loud... It was truly amazing!

An indy show that was shown on the Bravo tv channel here in England. I cant remember what promotion it was, it was called "The King of England Cup" but it was in 2002, and Eddie Guerrero was on the card just after his WWE release, as was Grandmaster Sexay, v Ulf Hermann. Alex Shane faced someone called "Solid Gold" and Jody Fleisch won the whole tournament. Dynamite Kid made an appearance as well, and put over English wrestling in a promo. It was great live, but i remember watching it over again on TV, and they added these really cheesy black and white backstage promos where wrestlers got attacked before their match. English heel wrestlers promos do not sound threatening at all.

1 RAWs, 2 Smackdowns and a TNA show all in my home town of Glasgow, Scotland. I'm hoping to turn that into 2 TNA shows by attending the one in January 2010.
