WWE WrestleMania 37 will go Hollywood when it emanates from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on March 28, 2021!

WrestleMania 21 gets its sequel with WrestleMania '21.

SoFi Stadium in actually in Inglewood, California. The stadium is still being constructed and it's set to open until late July; a concert by Taylor Swift will be the first event. Then the stadium will be the home to NFL team LA Rams and LA Chargers.

According to a LA Times story, the stadium will have a regular NFL capacity of 70,240. However for special events, capacity can be expanded up to 100,240. So guess which number WWE is more likely to claim on air.

Now, if anyone is thinking to themselves "Why does this all sound so familiar?" it's because several sites reported that the new stadium would end up hosting WM37 in late 2018. But even years before that, when there were competing bids on building a new LA stadium every offer included plans on how the proposed stadium would handle hosting big money events like WrestleMania.

As i usually do every year, i have taken the Monday after Wrestlemania off work and im so glad that i have.

The first proper main event with fans back in attendance - running over 2 night with some great matches already pencilled in - i have a feeling this years Mania is going to be something special

Sunday and Monday are my days off that week which is lucky Big smile

I'm excited as always about Wrestlemania, it's a strong card even if it is lacking the star power of previous years as it seems WWE are leaving the part-timers at home this year and this will also be the first Mania since The Undertaker officially retired from the ring.

The match I'm looking forward to the most is Randy Orton vs Bray Wyatt as Im hoping they do another cinematic Firefly Funhouse match, if they can produce something as creatively brilliant as the Cena/Wyatt Funhouse match/segment from last year only this year perhaps have it actually end with a short match in the ring then I think it could be something special.

I love that Wrestlemania is 2 nights and I hope this becomes a permanent arrangement, being able to watch the show in separate 3 hour slots is far less exhausting than the slog of watching a 6-7 hour event in a day and splitting the show over 2 nights also creates the opportunity for WWE to be creative like running a angle over the 2 different nights for example, plus it gives 2 different matches the chance to headline Wrestlemania.

Really looking forward to fans being back but was surprised on Raw they were still advertising tickets even though they went on sale last weekend. I expected it to sell out in hours with social distancing in place.

Edge winning the world title is so obvious the way night two is going to end.

Lashley vs Mcintyre will be hard hitting and another good match.

Outside of those two matches the rest of the card looks like meh.

Do you guys think they added Bryan into the Mania match so that Edge can pin him for the title and it protects Reigns after all of the work that's went into making him the top Heel he is today?

I see no other logic for it to be honest because if it was about Bryan and Edge having similar.stories, they could have had Bryan beat Reigns meaning the title match would be 1 v 1 between Bryan and Edge

I've seen reports saying Vince was concerned about Edge being booed and Roman cheered so they inserted Bryan to make sure there was a clear cut babyface in the match. I also think the feeling was Edge wasnt really clicking as a heroic redemption seeking babyface and needed to turn heel which I think was a good call.
The triple threat also presents more options after Wrestlemania and it will allow them to protect Roman should they want to take the title off him, so yes I do think if a new champion is the plan then part of the reason for adding Bryan was probably so Reigns can avoid being pinned or made to submit.

OK so night 1 has just finished and I must say - what a fucking night of Wrestling and pure entertainment that was

We started off with a rain delay so got some unscripted promos and interviews which were awesome

Drew v Lashley - the title match kicked off the night and it was a great fight. Some fantastic shows of power and I have to say I was massively shocked Lashley retained but what a great opener.

The womans tag match was the blemish on the card. Was a bit of a botch fest. Mandy rose slipped on the ramp, then she nearly slipped off the rope but Liv Morgan saved her. Dana Brooke had 2 nip slips, Lana botched a move and the whole thing was bad. Riott squad should have won the match but they didn't. One of the worst PPV matches I've ever seen.

Cesaro v Seth Rollins. What a fucking match this was and a perfect way to put the womans tag match right out of mind. Some incredible moves from both guys including a corkscrew frogsplash,  the big swing, a mid stomp uppercut plus many more. Cesaro even brought out the UFO. What a match and what a moment for Cesaro.

AJ and Omos v The New Day. I wasn't sure what to expect but this over delivered big style. New Day were immense I putting over Omos, which was helped by a well put together match. AJ is grand slam and rightly so, he really is phenomenal.

Strowman v Shane. I had low expectations for this one but it was far better than I thought. Braun ripped the cage apart and threw Shane from the top for a sick looking bump- really well done considering how bad the feud has been.

Bunny and Priest v Miz and Morrison. Honestly where do I start with this. What a fucking match and what an effort from bad bunny. He can really wrestle and he hit some great moves including a Canadian destroyer on the outside. Couldn't believe what I was watching. Incredible match- Priest looks like a star too. Phenomenal considering this was a celeb match.

Sasha v Bianca in the main event was PERFECT. The emotion at the start to some ridiculous shows of strength from bianca. Sasha changing her mind mid air to change a move, fantastic wrestling and a hair whip that sounded brutal and left a nasty welt on the side of Sasha. This match had the main event feel, everything about it was Wrestlemania main event. The close falls the use of biancas hair for and against her and she did it, she won the belt and I jumped around the house like a lunatic.

Its not often a WWE main roster PPV outdoes NXT but Night 1 has certainly done that. The whole thing (except the women's tag) was phenomenal.

How does night 2 follow that?

Edit: Theres a video that has leaked online showing Sasha smiling after the match which just goes to show how much it meant to them and how happy she is for Bianca. She may have a 0-6 record at Mania but she has done so much for this main event, it almost feels like they both won.
