https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WrestleMania_33

A massive "universe" of fans and 52 states in America yet the same venue gets it for the second time in a decade and a third time for Florida within that last ten years.

70K venue so should be an 80k crowd, although the stadium is actually not that nice to look at.

I suspect so many WMs in Florida keeps The Rock more interested in being part of the show.

Um... not sure about that only 52 states in America thing, but I totally agree that it seems rather suspect that Florida gets yet another WrestleMania.

I'd like to see them take a chance and book a wrestlemania in a place like Wembley Stadium or the Tokyo Dome, or some place in Mexico City.

Time zone differences, production costs and other practical issues will result in never getting a Wrestlemania in England. Japan, has even less chance.

Last weekend UFC for their Manchester PPV sold out Manchester Arena for Michael Bisping for a 5 am sunday morning start time. If those logistics can be got around then WWE can.

I think they are just too lazy to their European fanbase. I think it would be a cool selling point the first ever middle of the night local time Wrestlemania to ever happen.

Fans from all over Europe would more than make sure it still sold out even though the time wouldn't be too good for young children with school the next day.

So based on reports the top matches are set to be:

Seth Rollins vs Triple H

Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar

Chris Jericho vs Kevin Owens

I have no problem with that - all should be decent top drawing matches. Apparently WWE are still deciding on the opponent for The Undertaker with Cena and Reigns the top choices. I would like to see Reigns vs Taker but time is running out for Cena/Taker so really that needs to happen this year as both men are really one bad bump away from retirement.

I would go with Reigns(who I expect to be champion) against Finn Balor.

I would have some sort of Raw vs Smackdown challenge match and go with AJ Styles vs Sami Zayn unless WWE bring Samoa Joe to Raw and build him up strong to face Styles in time for Wrestlemania.

We will probably get a clusterfuck match for the mid-card titles. I would love to see TLC return for the tag titles, maybe Sheamus/Cesaro vs New Day vs The Club vs Enzo/Cass

Orton vs Wyatt I think will be on the card unless this angle has run its course by then.

Braun Strowman I expect to win the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, I really hope they don't go with the rumoured Reigns vs Strowman match as it's too soon for that.

If both men are fit they have to do Cena vs Taker at Mania. Part of me is expecting them to go triple threat with AJ vs Cena vs Taker over the WWE Title where Cena will finally get his 16th title reign. It may be a bit far fetched but it could happen.

Feasibly you can build towards Strowman vs Reigns over the US Title, then have Jericho vs Owens for the Universal Title, where that leaves Balor I don't know, suppose it depends on how his fitness holds up on his return, unless they hold him off for WM.

Women wise i'd imagine it's a lock in to be Bayley vs Charlotte vs Sasha. Or a combination of those. I see WM being the place Charlotte gets pinned on looses her PPV streak, as for the blue side, they'll probably do some kind of cluster multi-woman match.

There's also that whole crapfest of Big Show vs Shaw eurghh.

I am hoping for two singles matches for the women on the main show, Becky vs Micky James or something like that, Bayley vs Charlotte and then during the 2 hour pre show, a clusterfuck or two, maybe one from each roster.

As for the men, there will be Goldberg vs Lesnar, Rollins vs Triple H and Show vs Shaq.

Cena vs Styles could be one of the title matches as well as Jericho vs Owens. Miz and Reigns both need opponents, and Miz needs a high profile singles match, whereas Reigns needs someone to make him look strong. No idea who is really good enough for The Miz, but Reigns should probably defend in a clusterfuck rather than demote the Intercontinental Championship anymore.

People who have to be a part of the show but have no locked in opponents or program are Sami Zayn, Dean Ambrose, The Undertaker and Dolph Ziggler Bray Wyatt, Randy Orton, Finn Balor, and probably Braun Strowman.

There is another much more enticing option here. Rousey lost bad this last weekend in her fight in the UFC. She didn't even do press, she just went home. Talk is about retirement from UFC at this point.

What if Bayley were to take the title from Charlotte at the Rumble, and then get into it with either Jax or Sasha for Mania and Charlotte got sidetracked by having a celebrity feud with Rousey?

I mean, never mind the Goldberg Reigns tease, Charlotte vs Rousey is main event material.

Yeah yeah, not gonna happen, I know, let's set those arguments aside for a moment though. It is a pipe dream that hasn't been crushed yet.

Rousey wants to wrestle at least a time or two, Charlotte wants to be the first woman to main event Mania, press is hot on Rousey again, from Vince's perspective this is a highly enticing prospect.

After eating two defeats running, I can't imagine Vince wanting to bring in Rousey now they'd have to build up her star power again AND get her used to doing things the WWE way.

Yeah, I could see that, but I also think that since it's a women's match Vince doesn't even gives a damn, and it's all on Stephanie to make the most out of the women's match, and I don't see Stephanie caring about the two losses, and in fact see it as an opportunity to build heat by having Charlotte make fun of the losses about how she's never lost at a PPV and her record on PPVs is even better than Rousey's.

Plus it's not like Rousey needs a lot of training for one choreographed match. If she were to join full-time that'd be another thing, but for one match at mania, all they need to do is choreograph and Rousey has proven she has the wrestling chop and the acting ability to make that work flawlessly.
