WM30 wasn't a bad show at all.  I tend to agree with Rico Len's analysis and summary.  Lesnar/ Taker is way too over-hyped though.  The ending being "jaw dropping" is a bit exaggerated IMO.  It was only jaw dropping because of who won.  The ending sequence itself was shitty.  The match was the drizzling shits.  It was the clear message that Taker needed to retire.  Outside of that, it was a solid show.

Still, however, my favorite WM has to be WM10.  I mean, Owen vs. Bret was my favorite opener of ALL time (and the ending was legitimately shocking at the time).  Savage vs. Crush was a fun brawling bout.  The World title series with Yoko, Luger and Hart was dramatic.  Razor vs. HBK stole the damn show.  It had some odd stinkers in there - but it was clear those matches were meant to calm the crowd down.  And, as a kid, I hate to admit that I enjoyed the Bam Bam/Luna vs. Doink/Dink match :) haha.

Definitely... that match between Taker and Lesnar was boring as fuck clear until the three count. Once the three count was made it was most certainly jawdropping. No one saw that coming, no one believed it would ever happen, Lesnar was actually pretty well languishing at upper-midcard after all his previous losses and losing his luster as any kind of draw, and everyone just figured this was another win for Taker and another loss for Lesnar, and then it wasn't, and then once that realization set it, HOLY SHIT!

The first 10 wrestlemanias were where all my favorite wrestlemania moments happened outside of a very small handful of events, like Hogan vs Rock, Angle vs HBK, and Rock vs Austin #3.

Whenever I think of my favorite moments ever at wrestlemania, I think of Savage vs Steamboat, Rude vs Warrior, Hogan vs Warrior, Hogan vs Savage, Jake vs Rude, Jake vs Undertaker, Undertaker vs Gonzalez (Only because for years I mistakenly thought that was Undertaker's first loss), Hitman vs Piper, Flair vs Savage, Hitman vs Owen, Razor vs Michaels, and probably more than any other moment, Warrior vs Savage.

Everything else... /meh.

You just called out my favorite Mania match of all time - Piper vs. Hart was THE perfect way to book a Face vs. Face battle.  Such a story and such a good match.  Class act for Piper to put over Hart clean too.
