If you split the 30 Wrestlemanias into three groups of ten this one would be in the bottom third with the likes of 9 and 11.

The opening segment could have been done on Raw instead of killing match time. It did NOTHING. No storyline was made from what was nothing more than an ego trip.

Is it right for six guys to get three minutes between them? The show sucked. Look past the nostalgia of it being the 30th year because if that show was produced on a random number year it would be pissed on much more.

No. The first time ever that three such iconic superstars shared the same ring even just for a random promo needed to happen at a big occasion, not just on a throwaway episode of Raw. It was a cool, memorable nostalgic moment even if the promo material was a little cheesy, I enjoyed it and felt it didn't run for longer than it should have. Would much rather have something like this happen than some Z list celebrity singing America the beautiful.

I agree with you that the quality of The Undertaker's match was below what we have come to expect but it would appear he suffered a concussion early in the match and needed Lesnar to guide him through every spot.

The Shield's match was a short squash but these guys have been booked as killers, why should the ageing past their prime New-Age Outlaws stand a chance against them? I had no problem with this match which was booked as a showcase for the Shield and a last hurrah for the Outlaws.

All the top matches delivered top quality and the filler stuff was kept to a minimum and was all enjoyable. First class Wrestlemania in my opinion, the only let down for me was the lack of special attraction matches, in the year build-up we heard rumours about Steve Austin, The Rock, Goldberg, Hull Hogan and even The Ultimate Warrior working matches, not a single one of those rumours came to fruition and all we got was a lacklustre match between Brock Lesnar and The Undertaker and of course a Batista return which has been completely shit on by most fans, from that point of view the event was a little disappointing but the match quality did make up for the lack of marquee stars.

Wrestlemania should be a card of equals and not have on any squash/filler matches. It could have gone ten minutes and Shield would have still looked good in victory.

Quote WWE WrestleMania 30 facts. According to official figures attendance was a sold-out crowd of 75,167, with guests from all 50 US states and 37 countries. WrestleMania broke the Mercedes-Benz Superdome record for the New Orleans venue's highest grossing entertainment event, grossing $10.9m (£6.6m)

Would be cool if a list was released of which 37 countries were covered.

That's a decent gross. Be interesting to see how much the buyrate of a million drops at the full price now folks will have been watching on the Network cheaper.

In terms of psychology, i can't see how anyone could pan this Mania. I will concede to anyone who doesn't think it was one of the greatest ppvs ever, but top to bottom the psychology was perfect. The way and whom Taker lost to, D bry saga, Shield killingg NAO in 3 minutes, especially considering they have been booked for months as being past it and not wanting to wrestle the young guns. All in all, best show ever because i love psychology.

Just bought the limited collectors edition of WrestleMania XXX, watching the opening segment once again, still gives me chills! The 3 disc set also came with a book the 30 greatest moments in Mania history. Top quality purchase!

My local Sanity (DVD/Music CD) store have them in stock, but there was only like 10 they had available. I think it might be a offer exclusively for that particular Australian store brand.

I forget what led me to do it, but I was watching the best entrances and moments from Hulk Hogan's career, and finished it up watching the open to WrestleMania 30, and now I'm just watching it all.

In retrospect this was definitely to my mind in the top 5 best WrestleManias ever.

I don't know how anyone could argue that any WrestleMania ever had a better open than that of Hogan Austin and Rock.

Hogan ought to be the host of every WrestleMania.

That Daniel Bryan saga was so very good. That first match with Bryan vs Triple H was very good, the main event was great.

The New Age Outlaws vs The shield was a throwaway, yet it was still very fun. It's amazing how babyface over Reigns used to be.

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal where Cesaro won was likewise fun and enjoyable. Crazy to see how much things have changed since then. Rey Mysterio was in the match, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, ADR, Tyson Kidd, Big E prior to New Day... Weird.

Actually when you look at the main card, Cena vs Wyatt was the only dud aside from the still divas-era women's match. Every other match on the main card was quite fun and/or noteworthy.

Brock Lesnar breaks Undertakers streak. The match was ass, but that finish was jawdropping and is still talked about to this day.

Honestly, in retrospect, I knew then that the event was great, but even then I didn't know how well it would stand the test of time, but now I can see clearly it was one of the best ever.
