Things didn't get off to a good start for us with Andy Murray pulling out at the last minute, but so fair it is looking like Tim Henman is flying the flag for Britain. It was ceratinly nail-biting with his match against Carlos Moya and at one point I really thought that Tim wasn't going to win and he was lucky that he did. Lets hope tomorrow Tim can get through into round 3.

Henman and his support doesn't half make me laugh. He struggled through against a clay court expert and then lost to one anyway. Henin at 7/2 at the start is still looking a great bet. I hope it's not Federer versus Nadal in the final. One missing would make me happy and two missing would be a bonus. Ana Ivanovic is what Tennis has been missing for years. There's been a shortage of hot babes that can actually play the game well. Please nobody try and say Sharapova is both hot and a good player.

It was a bit disappointing that Henman didn't make it through yesterday. He did well to get the match back to 2-2 but then to close the last 6-1 was a shame as I could have seen him winning the match with having the momentum going into the last set.

I agree I don't want to see a Federer vs Nadal final. These days that is all we see in the men's singles and it is getting a bit boring. I personally would like to see probably Roddick vs Hewitt in the final.

In the women's singles it will probably be between Henin, Mauresmo, Serena Williams and maybe Hingis for the final.

Henman: Centre court expert, home advantage, higher in the world rankings and grass court is his main surface. He lost to......

Lopez: Not been on a major court before, won two games all year going into Wimbledon, clay court typical Spanish player and lower in the world rankings.

It's such an embarassment to British tennis that we didn't have one man or woman in the third round this year. I hope the Roehampton facilities come off well and in the next five years we should be able to see if it's 40 million pound well spent.

Yeah it is a bit of a embarassment that we don't have a British representative in the single's competition anymore. If only Murray hadn't pulled out and then we would have a chance but it was safer for him if he didn't play.

Wow that Serena/Danielle match was getting to a good point before the rain. I reckon Danielle still as it in her hands once the tie break is finished and goes to 1-1 in sets. Serena is in agony with cramp and cannot walk so good, nevermind run. She will be getting a rub down now (off some lucky lad???), but the cramp problems will still be there. Justine won easily earlier today and must be smiling loads knowing how the match with her next opponents are going. Soderling is doing great against Rafa as well. Hopefully a shock on the cards.

Federer has done it again. 5-time Wimbledon champion.

But it was good to see Jamie Murray win in the mixed doubles. About time someone British won at Wimbledon.

It was a damn shock to see a Brit win anything at Wimbledon. Lets put it down to the Serb lol. This years Wimbledon was one of the worst ever and showed how overated Wimbledon is. Two Brits in the second round was the worst performance in nearly 20 years, too much rain, centre court looked naked without a roof, matches too predictable and the same old names in the later stages. Bartoli was the success story of the event, but Venus was 1/15 in the final and the mens final between the best two players in the world had a 1/7 favourite. How boring is that? I would have loved a Ana Invanovic versus Justin Henin final and yet both lost in the semis. That sucked.

Poor post and explains shit. Sharapova is the most overated ladies player in the looks department for many years. She wouldn't make top 20 on my list. Would you say she's hotter than any of these for example.........

Tatiana Golovin: She French, but I don't care when a lady can look this good. Shame she's not quite ready to break into the top players yet........

Ana Ivanovic: Quite frankly my favourite to look at on the court. It was a pleasure watching her reach the semi finals of Wimbledon.........

Nicole Vaidisova: She can be proud of reaching the later stages of Wimbledon this year.........

Ashley Harkleroad: Never reached her full potential due to fitness and personal problems, but a great view for the eye.........
