This idea in part came from Rico Len on the previous Who shouldn't of been Champions thread, link provided below:

http://www.tupwrestlingforum.com/who-shouldnt-of-been-champions-2_topic18591_page2.html

So, I give most to the credit to Rico on this one, but anyway, here are two former superstars from different eras and generations who caused their share of controversy both inside and outside the squared circle. Both these men had well documented limited ability when in came to wrestling, but both were still highly popular among the fans at times of their title reigns.

So, without further a do, here are the choices:

Ultimate Warrior

Bill Goldberg

Warrior, easy. Both were only in it for the money, but at least Goldberg showed up all the time.

Goldberg. After reading his I'm Next bio I'm convinced he would have been a complete washout if he had gone anywhere other than WCW. He was strictly there for the money. He really didn't have to work very hard to get to the top.

Warrior, I think just got weirder as he went along. The louder and more over the top he got, the more successful he became. I think he was much more like a rockstar that was consumed by his fame.

Two wrestling gods and it would be blasphemous to vote in this thread.

I guess Warrior was more charismatic, but less reliable and roided to the gills.

Warrior. He was just weird as hell on the mic, no one really understood what he was saying. Goldberg was a great gimmick that worked for a long time. Goldberg was still recognizable as a money draw during his time in the WWE. Warrior on the other hand was a nobody after his time in WCW.

It seems Warrior is actually quite popular.

Warrior's reign was a bust because he was superover, but not the same as Hogan.

Goldberg for me quickly dropped off when he no longer had the streak to his name. having him be a "Sell Out" worked to get him heel heat, but i was pretty meh the whole time for him.

so will go with Goldberg.

Ultimate Warrior.  What started out as an entertaining gimmick self-destructed after a period of fame.  He started to scare me a bit when he began uttering nonsense.  I can agree with Thundarr and his statement about Warrior having a Rockstar mentality, where fame goes to the person's head.  I like to refer to that as being LSD, or Lead Singer's disease, as this is more commonly seen in singers, i.e. David Lee Roth, Steven Tyler and Axl Rose to name a few.

Warrior deserved it more than Goldberg. They both should have been champion because they drew money, which is the point of a champion, but Goldberg had less of an impact after the streak ended so I guess I'll go with him.

A few complaints: 1) there have been three threads named "Who shouldn't of been..." And the grammar is atrocious. Have, please? 2) Why do we have "Who shouldn't have been champion Goldberg vs Warrior" and yet "Whose reign was booked worse Mysterio or Swagger"? Bad form.
