watching season one of the Crazy Ones.

I do wonder if this was one of the projects Robin Williams took on that he didn't like.  it's David E. Kelly, so the dialogue is witty and slightly out there. Sarah Michelle Geller is pretty good in it, as are the rest of the supporting cast. pre-end credits, there are outtakes, and those Williams is in, he does seem like he's enjoying himself.  it's a bit short. not the season, though it is for obvious reasons, but the episodes are barely 20 minutes long.

It's pretty dull and the two leads have no chemistry or charisma for a film like that, but it's manageable to sit through it. The Sin City sequel had about 10 fold more nudity in it, for a comparison.

Literally just watched Fury as well, good film if you like the genre. Not up there with Hurt Locker or Saving Private Ryan but an interesting take on the latter part of WW2. Brad Pitt, Shia LeBoeuf and Jon Bernthal played the parts well, the mexican dude seemed somewhat miscast to me.

Watched Fury a few weeks back, thought it was fantastic and on a par with Hurt Locker and Private Ryan which are the best films for me of that genre. By far the best Brad Pitt film in a very long time. I thought they really nailed the realism of that part of the war.

Watched Interstellar recently as well, found it quite interesting although the really geeky space talk lost me a few times. Another very good film I saw was Nightcrawler, another gritty and realistic film, great performance from Jake Gyllenhall. Exodus: Gods and Kings is well worth a look if you're a fan of those sorts of films. Finally watched Pacific Rim as well which I thought was ok but a lot of silliness and cheesy acting.

Im watching through Keeping Up Appearances on netflix. Best thing the UK has ever given the world. Im up to where Daisy becomes a different actress, which happens in episode 7. It was really weird. But I love the show, grew up watching it on PBS.

Yes it was ok, when I watch the repeats now it still makes me laugh at all the ridiculous situations Hyacinth gets herself and her family into. Poor Richard eh, her hen pecked husband.
It certainly wasnt or isnt the best sitcom we've ever done though Wink

Just watched Despicable Me 3 with the kiddos and it's rather poor compared to the other Despicable Me/Minions efforts, shame really but it seems they've taken it as far as they can.

Currently watching:

Power on Netflix, love this show, dark and gritty and well acted.

Shooter has just kicked off season 2 on Netflix and the opening episode was really good. Bit like Homeland this show but easier to follow and more action.

Watched a few episodes of Glow on Netflix, not sure about it, it's ok and will probably watch to the end of the season as each episode is only half hour.

Watched episode 1 of In the Dark on BBC1, was pretty good.

Just finished American Gods, was alright but so confusing, must admit half the time I had no idea what was going on but it just had something about it that kept you watching. Not sure if I'll watch season 2.

Ballers is back on soon and of course season 7 of Game of Thrones has just started. Going to give season 3 of Broadchurch a watch as well as I enjoyed the first two series'

Watched a few episodes of the Taken series on Amazon, found it dull, nothing like the film's and the guy playing Brian Mills did a poor job of portraying the character that Liam Neeson did so successfully.

Glow is brilliant, and that isn't just because Alison Brie gets her tits out.

Power has maintained it's quality through to season 4, Haven't started season 2 of Shooter yet.

American Gods was great, they didn't actually advance the story, just laid out everyone's background.

Have a recommendation too, Blood Drive. It's a SyFy show that should be terrible but somehow works. It's kinda like Death Race if the cars ran on people.

Don't really get all the fuss about Glow, it's ok but hasn't lived up to the hype for me yet. The story is weird.

Yeah Power has done a great job of keeping the entertainment at a high through four seasons. According to Fifty Cent they plan to run seven seasons. This is the most I've enjoyed a show since Breaking Bad.

The first episode of season two of Shooter is really good, recommend.

Is there a fuss about GLOW? I mean, I only knew what it was because of the Steve Austin show from a few years back when one of the original women was interviewed and she talked about doing a documentary for Netflix, and then I saw the show on Netflix under the "recently added" list so I gave it a shot. I was able to finish it in a couple days because the episodes are so short. It wasn't bad, IMO. Kinda fun, but I don't see any big deal about it either.

ATM I'm catching back up with DareDevil/Jessica Jones/Luke Cage/Iron Fist before Defenders is uploaded to Netflix. Love these series, and how they're all tied together. Can't wait for Defenders and Punisher.

Game of Thrones I'm watching with my older two kids, skipping some of the more adult scenes, but my son's been bugging me about it for a while now, and having seen the show already myself, I figured I could skip the more objectionable scenes and we'll be ok.

Not sure what else there is to watch really. I don't like TV very much, and when I find something good I binge watch until it's done. I was considering re-watching Stranger Things soon since the new season is coming out in October.
