I thought Kane's WHC run in 2010 was his last hurrah. It wasn't a bad run either. But it stalled out in that horrible "3 PPVs in 6 weeks" triangle.

WWE doesn't seem to have a long term plan with Kane. Hence he seems to be booked a bit randomly. For several weeks he's a heel, then one week he's a face.

Personally, I like Kane in tag teams now. I think he and Big Show worked well together. Both big men that can spread the workload between themselves.

Underrated wrestler, underrated on the mic because he is scripted. They let him loose when he was chasing/holding the WHC and he was good on the mic. Dedicated company man. No drugs. Never missed an event he was booked on. Puts over talent consistently without ever looking weak (a rare feat) and all around a genuinely lovely man, by all accounts. If Undertaker can be given a never ending cycle of last hurrahs and end of eras etc etc blah blah blah, his kayfabe brother should get at least some modicum of the same treatment. Hell, it isn't Kane that makes one appearance per year and uses 75% of that time to walk to the ring before phoning in a match. I'm not saying give him the world title. That has been and gone. Just another run of kicking ass and taking names. Put him in the tag division. He's always suited tag wrestling and could help get it back on its feet.

He's yo-yo'd so many times people can't take him sirius as a monster anymore, because he'll be an opening match jobber again within a few months.

Creative will get bored of him again soon enough and book a brothers of destruction storyline for a cheap pop, then Kane turns on Taker, etc, seen it all before.

Not through his own choice as obviously Glen Jacobs won't be glad Paul Bearer is dead, but could he be the one to really benefit from the death?

On monday night he was booked as more of a solo monster than he has been in ages.

I've a feeling off the back of the sad death Kane is going to get another big singles push.

I believe at this point of career Kane should be the leader of a Faction as opposed to being a member of it....I can see him in the mentor role like Ric Flair was in Evolution, if they go down that route

Y'know what?....It's really fucking hot here in Africa. Who knew?....Well me, I have been doing this for almost 5 years

Fairplay to Glen Jacobs for reinventing his persona and doing a splendid job as Corporate Kane.

The suit and growing his hair both work, as do the more laid back persona but at the same time keeping his sinister edge.

His body regularly breaks down and is knackered from his long career so it's better to only have him wrestle occasionally as a special attraction, even though he's not in the Brock, Rock etc tier.

First... we need to unsticky this topic...

I've been rather meh on the whole Corporate Kane bit.

I've not been a fan of the look.

I understand that unmasking him was a decision supposedly based on the idea that it would help marketing See No Evil 2. But as the Authority's enforcer, Kane has been a flop. But unmasked Kane has never had the same aura that he had when masked.

There's been a lot of chatter that the exchange on Raw between Kane & Stephanie McMahon signals the end of Corporate Kane. A move that I won't complain about. But if WWE thinks that just re-re-masking him will do the trick then they're dead wrong. It's going to take a serious investment into the character to make him relevant once more.

And if he is going to wear a mask again, they better change it up someway. If only for merchandising.
