So heres my thoughts on this weeks Dynamite:

Fenix v Nick Jackson - This was an awesome match. its not often we get to see these in singles action and it certainly lived up to what i thought it would be.

Shida v Baker - This was a solid effort - i was really shocked Shida picked up the win against Baker.

Dynaimte Dozen battle royal - i wasnt really a fan of this one to be honest. The last 2 standing were MJF and Page which should make for a good match next week.

Jerocho cut a pretty good promo and this set up a match between Y2J and Scorpio Sky for the title.

Luchasaurus ran through Peter Avalon

Private party v Santana and Ortiz - This was another solid match. I was again shocked to see Private Party pick up the win over these.  There was a weird moment in this where the ref stopped counting because i think the legal man was not the one involved in the pin.

Moxley v Allin - This was absolutely awesome and insane as you could well imagine. This was match of the night for me with the Fenix Jackson match a close second.

Overall it was an OK show for me with 2 standout matches.

B is probably a fair grade

The last two weeks of Dynamite have been pretty average I would say. There's been some highlights but a lot of very missable stuff inbetween.

The best thing about AEW right now is Jericho, his promo work has been entertainment gold. I've also enjoyed the booking of Moxley, have to say though Moxley's match with Allin didn't live up to the hype, it was fine but not the crazy brawl they promoted it as.

It's concerning though that the only thing I'm really into right now in AEW is a near 50 year old former WWE guy. This doesn't bode well for the rest of the roster, I've enjoyed a few of the matches particularly the ones involving Omega and PAC who are the top workers in the company.

Too much of the roster still says low rent indie show to me, they need to get some new talent fast. The Blade and the Butcher who made their debuts this week don't exactly feel me with confidence about the future of AEW, a guy who used be a low card act in Impact and some other guy who is apparently in a band, not sure he can even wrestle.

I know it's still early days but if somebody asked my opinion of AEW right now I'd say very hit and miss, a few good bits here and there but overall nothing that suggests they are any better than WWE and not as good as NXT.
