Working under the name Vance Archer, former TNA wrestler Lance Hoyt made his WWE debut at tonight's ECW taping in Providence, Rhode Island. He defeated a local wrestler in a squash match.

Shortly after parting ways with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling this past February, Hoyt came to terms with World Wrestling Entertainment. He has been appearing in the company's developmental promotion, Florida Championship Wrestling, in the meantime.

* Usually heels have squash matches so I assume he's not a babyface........

* A pretty good replacement for Sheamus as they are quite similar in a lot of ways.

* Hope he's used right and doesn't go the same way as Braden Walker.

Didn't catch this episode yesterday but I looked it up and seem the former big texan hoyt, It'd be nice if they actually put some time into Hoyt. They dont have too many good big men left, with undertaker's carreer slowly coming to its final chapter and Kane talking about retiring(and not being as badass as a big men as he once was) Hoyt could be made into something big with his size and ability and the new look makes him look like one hell of a heel, good luck to Hoyt

* The reverse DDT finisher looked sweet. Not the type of move associated with someone so big.

* His intensity that Tiffany spoke about earlier in the evening was seen in that short squash.

* It's pretty rare for a man so big to have talent, so he's definately marketable.

tyler reks and lance hoyt could be a good match for a tag team. These two can fued as babyface with the regal goons. but now his hair is gone so bad idea.

is that who that big fukker in black was this week on ecw.
wow ! i guess i couldnt tell, to me he looked more like the guy who portrays the anti-christ in all those history channel documentaries...
thats kinda cool, this looks like it might workout better for him than being a guitar hero nerd

* His intensity impressed me again and I can see him being used high up on one of the better brands at some point.

* Tiffany apparently spotted him in Japan...So she didn't see him in TNA or even in FCW where they have been on the same weekly show many times lol.

* Just hope when he faces better opponents he's allowed to bring out some of his impressive moves he used in TNA that WWE don't usually allow their big men to perform.

I'm really liking the new look for Lance, his face has such an intense persona so it suits him to have such a fierce fighting style. Was pretty nice to see him use the spinning front faceslam he occasionally used in TNA, but hopefully we see some of his better moves in the coming months.

I seriously think Lance could be ECW Champion within a year with the right build-up. Have him dominate in some feuds with lower tier guys like Dreamer/Tyler, before pushing him up to the likes of Christian or Yoshi. He could easily be a more talented version of Snitsky, who *almost* had a fantastic push in ECW.

He seriously should not have cut his hair or shaved. He has this bad hair cut and his eyes look like the next kane. And the inverse DDT was kinda like "Smell My Arm Pit" Inverse DDT. Check out the replay part of the match if you can. The guy looks like he is smelling Vance Arm Pit.LOL

His last match on TNA was impressive. He is talented and hope WWE gives him chance to show it. basically they will as it isECW and all of the wrestlers their do awesome moves and worth watching matches.

If WWE wants more huge guys ,they should bring brodie lee. He did a hurricana on a guy who is three times smaller then him (Frithmare of chikara I think) and its on realwigglies youtube account (one of the newest chikara podcast a-go-go series). Most of you will know Brodie Lee if they watch ROH or Indy stuff.
