Quote Big E does an interview in the back where he says Kofi and Xavier aren't here tonight, but they'll be back. Kofi and Xavier are off selling the beating from the Bludgeon Brothers on Sunday. Jimmy Uso walks in and tells big E he isn't alone, and the Bludgeon Brothers got Jey out of action too. Jimmy says right now, they need to put their differences aside and deal with the Bludgeon Brothers. Jimmy and Big E walk off together.

Big E & Jimmy Uso vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: Big E and Jimmy attack the Bludgeon Brothers before the opening bell at ringside. They brawl all over ringside, before Jimmy and Big E grab steel chairs and roll back in the ring to wait for the Brothers. Rowan and Harper pick up their sledgehammers and get in the ring. The ref gets out of the ring now as the two teams start swinging their weapons. Rowan and Harper knock the steel chairs out of the babyfaces' hands, and Big E and Uso retreat to ringside. Back in the ring, the opening bell sounds and Rowan and Big E start going at it. Harper tags in and they double team the New Day member. Uso finally gets the tag and he cleans house. Harper shuts the momentum down with a big boot to Uso. Rowan takes Big E out to ringside and whips him into the ring steps. Harper and Rowan double team Uso in the ring for the three count.

Winners: The Bludgeon Brothers

- After the match, Harper and Rowan beat down Big E at ringside.

Bludgeon Brothers were well and truely pushed last night. They were made to look by far the strongest they have been so far.

I mind them looking strong before Wrestlemania, but at the show I don't want to see a title change.

Nice touch having guys from two rival teams work together to try and get revenge.

This is a good storyline with lots of tools available. will it go on for a while? don't see why not. seems like everything on SD has to be a trio conflict

I'm 100% on the same page as you on this. I've made no secret of how high i rate The Usos and like i said in another thread, theres a case to be made for any of the teams walking out of mania with the gold.

Personally i think The Usos are by far the best tag team on the main roster and i think after the year they have had, they deserve a Wrestlemania moment before being drafted to Raw

Quote The New Day comes down to the ring, and they've got microphones. They cut a promo on the Bludgeon Brothers, saying that they're trying to get in their way on their road to WrestleMania. Xavier says they're going to take care of the Bludgeon Brothers tonight, so they can focus on regaining their Tag Team Championships at 'Mania.

- Big E & Xavier Woods vs. The Bludgeon Brothers: Big E and Woods use frequent tags to double team Rowan early on. Harper finally tags in and they double team Big E and Woods, then throw Big E outside. Rowan continues beating on Woods in the ring and hits a backbreaker. Rowan hits some knee drops, then tags in Harper. Harper puts the boots to Woods and looks for a splash in the corner, but Woods stops him with an elbow to the face. Woods looks for the tag, but Rowan pulls Big E down to the floor and beats him down before they can tag. Harper hits a splash on Woods in the corner, then a running big boot. Rowan throws Big E in the ring, then he grabs the huge mallets. Before Rowan can put the hammers in the ring, The Usos run in for the save. The Usos brawl with Rowan at ringside, while The New Day brawls with Harper in the ring. They throw Harper outside, then The New Day and The Usos start arguing about the finish. Rowan and Harper run in with their mallets, and the ring clears out. The New Day and The Usos retreat up the ramp.

Winners via DQ: The Bludgeon Brothers

I always find it amusing when the mallets are brought up, because obviously only Hs is allowed to use a sledgehammer, so they have to be called something else.

Even with the mallets it didn't look good have twice as many babyfaces running off.

It should be up to the babyfaces to find something like a chair under the ring and use the numbers game to make the heels run off.

I like the way this is being built up - its pointing more and more to an Uso title retention at Mania which is what they deserve after the year they have had.

Still not really a fan of the BB or their mallets

Quote Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods vs. The Bludgeon Brothers (c): This one is a No DQ match for the Tag Team Titles, but Big E stays backstage. The opening bell sounds and they all immediately being brawling out of the ring and around the floor. Kofi and Harper trade strikes near the announce table until Woods dropkicks Harper over the table. Rowan grabs Woods from behind and throws him onto the fan barricade, and then he throws down Kofi too. Rowan throws an announcer's chair at Kofi and drops him again. Rowan and Kofi fight into the ring now as Harper and Woods trade shots at ringside. Harper looks for a suplex, but Woods escapes and hits an elbow to the face, then he drops Harper face-first into the announce desk. Back in the ring, Kofi boots Rowan in the face and then dumps him outside. Kofi kicks Rowan from the apron and then he goes over to help Woods. The New Day grabs a ladder from under the ring and they slide on the mat. Rowan then grabs the New Day members from behind on the floor and holds them while Harper goes flying out of the ring with a suicide dive on them. The Champions throw a bunch of steel chairs in the ring, then they go back to beatong on the New Day Members at ringside. Rowan hits a splash on Kofi up against then barricade, and then he whips him into a big boot from HArper. Woods gets back to his feet and boots Rowan in the head, but Rowan comes back with a running shoulder block. Back in the ring, Harper looks for a chair shot on Kofi, but Kofi kicks the chair in his face and then hits a facebuster for a two count. Rowan pulls Kofi out to ringside and boots him down, then he elbows Woods in the face. Back in the ring, Rowan starts unfolding the chairs, and then they lay the ladder across the two unfolded chairs. The Brothers go to do the double chokeslam on to the ladder, but Kofi comes flying off the top rope to break it up. The Brothers grab Kofi and hit the double chokeslam on the ladder on Kofi instead, but they only get a two count. Rowan goes out to ringside now and gets a table and puts it in the ring. Rowan and Harper then beat down Kofi at ringside, and then Rowan gets his mallet and hands it to Rowan. Harper slaps Rowan across the face, and Rowan asks him to slap him a couple more times. Rowan charges at Kofi with his mallet, but Kofi moves and Rowan crashes into the timekeeper's area by himself. Woods gets up but Harper drops him with a superkick. Harper takes Woods back in the ring and looks for a powerbomb through a table, but Kofi makes the save. Kofi has the mallet now and hits Harper with it. Kofi hits the Trouble In Paradise, and then Kofi lays Harper on the table in the ring. Woods goes up top and hits a flying elbow on Rowan through the table for the three count.

Winners & new Tag Team Champions: The New Day

- Big E runs out after the match to celebrate with Kofi and Xavier in the ring. The New Day celebrates in the ring with their Tag Title belts as we go to replays. The New Day goes in the crowd to celebrate with the Tag Title belts as SmackDown goes off the air.

Plus Point: No more of the terrible Bludgeon Brothers as champions.

Negative Point: Giving a team the titles that don't need it, for a fifth time.

I can't say I am in a hurry for the automatic rematch clause to be used.
