This is a discussion thread for the September 1st UFC 151 Event (of which I'll put up a prediction contest for beginning next week). I'd like to hear your opinions of the fight card and anything else relating to UFC 151 in this thread. Here are some videos to preview the upcoming event.

Then here's Jon "Bones" Jones pre-fight interview:

And Dan Henderson's pre-fight interview:

The full UFC 151 Fight Card is as follows:

Main Event: (PPV) 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT

Light Heavyweight Championship (205 lbs)
Jon Jones (c) [16-1-0] vs. Dan Henderson [29-8-0]

Main Card: (PPV) 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT

Welterweight Fight (170 lbs)
Jake Ellenberger [27-6-0] vs. Jay Hieron [23-5-0]

Featherweight Fight (145 lbs)
Dennis Siver [20-8-0] vs. Eddie Yagin [16-5-1]

Lightweight Fight (155 lbs)
Dennis Hallman [66-14-2-1NC] vs. Thiago Tavares [21-4-1]

Flyweight Fight (125 lbs)
John Lineker [19-6-0] vs. Yaushiro Urushitani [19-5-6]

Preliminary Card: (FX) 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT

Lightweight Fight (155 lbs)
Michael Johnson [12-6-0] vs. Danny Castillo [14-4-0]

Bantamweight Fight (135 lbs)
Takeya Mizugaki [15-7-2] vs. Jeff Hougland [10-5-0]

Lightweight Fight (155 lbs)
Tim Means [18-3-1] vs. Abel Trujillo [9-4-0]

Lightweight Fight (155 lbs)
Daron Cruickshank [11-2-0] vs. Henry Martinez [9-2-0]

Preliminary Card: (Facebook) 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT

Lightweight Fight (155 lbs)
Shane Roller [11-6-0] vs. Jacob Volkmann [14-3-0]

Welterweight Fight (170 lbs)
Kyle Noke [19-6-1] vs. Charlie Brenneman [15-4-0]

Not a bad fight card and we could very well see some surprising results.

Hendo/Jones is gonna be good Hendo is gonna be Jones toughest test yet and all it would take is one big right hand from hendo to end it, just ask bisping >_>

also I think the Thoroughbred is gonna take ellenberger to school AGAIN

everything else is meh but Siver is fun to watch with his spining back kicks

I would say if you get a chance to watch this event, it would be a good one. I'm not going to miss this, (of course I have tickets - yeah!) Hendo vs. Jones is a tough call as both competitors have finishing capabilities to end the fight at any given time.

Its a pretty weak card on paper with the main event the only fight that has me excited and even that has the strong chance of being a squash.

I can't stand Jones, I say his reach is unfair and that is the reason I think he is so dominant. Realistically the only shot Hendo has of winning is the H bomb but with Jones' reach I can't see a guy with Hendo's size getting inside.

The only guys I give a shot of beating Jones at 205 is Machida and Sonnen if he goes up like he said he might.

No good having one shot KO power if you can't get past an 85in reach.

Jones will be running till Hendo gets gassed, no chance this fight is good.

Siver/Yagin is a lock for FOTN.

Considering Jones has already beat all the top guys  Sonnen is probably two wins from a title shot. He should beat Forrest and then will probably face Shogun to see who gets the shot.

What's the deal with the Sweedish bloke? Haven't heard about him for a while and he looked great in his last fight.

If you are talking about Gustafsson, he's fighting Shogun on the Bendo/Diaz undercard on Fox in December.
