This will be the historic night Prince Chael becomes a king.

Lets see if that brazillian bum lives up to his promise to break bones, or if he gets the punchbag treatment for half hour again.

Sonnen dominating.............

Next minute......

Remembers the spinning back fist from Shonnie Carter.....

Thinks that's a good idea.....

Gets destroyed.

As a Chael fan I'm disappointed, but damn that was a nice performance by Anderson. Chael should have never went for that spinning backfist/elbow/whatever the hell he was doing lmao.

I like Chael and all, but he got humbled out there after he went for the Uraken/Spinning Backfist.

Safe to say Anderson has passed Royce Gracie by now as greatest MMA Fighter of all time.

Seriously dreadful stoppage.

Reminded me of Lesnar/Carwin how he missed every single strike.

What exactly did Anderson do to say he surpassed Royce Gracie. Anderson got taken down with ease and showed decent but not amazing ground grappling. In the second round he took advantage of the brain explosion of the century by Sonnen to win. Its the exact point of what I say in how Anderson has not beaten any top guys in their prime with superb MMA skills.

Anderson's biggest victories are against a past it Dan Henderson, a past it Rich Franklin and now a guy who dominated him and then made a massive mistake. Its the same reason why I don;t rank Liddell as high as most people

Compare that to GSP who has dominated a division that for the most part was the strongest in the UFC.

Comparing GSP to Anderson is like comparing a dominant Premier League team to the most dominant second division team.

Well lest see he has won his last 16/17 fights? Nearly all have been calm and dominating. Oh and he has been champion for 6 years. Im like 90% sure thats an MMA record.

Fedor was 30-0. Silva is in the weakest division across that time plus he adopts more talented fighters as "buddies" so they won't fight him. The people Silva has beat outside of an older Hendo, older Franklin and Sonnen are COMPLETE No Names who most of which have been cut from the UFC since their fight with Anderson.

It doesn't matter how dominant he is anyone could look dominant facing past their prime 205s and 185s that would be cut from the division if they were in any other division that had more depth.

Anderson to prove anything needs to go to 205 again and this time fight actual fighters get him in there with Machida, Rua and Jones... oh wait he's already said they are his buddies and he won;t fight them.

GSP> Fedor> Silva.
