If it's good enough for Wrestlecrap, it's good enough for here.

Our near 6 year history deserves something special to remember it by.

We should also get a pro wrestler to write a foreword for it.

LOL

Adders, you go to a publishers and pitch this idea to them. I'll stand outside with a stopwatch counting how long it takes them to throw you out.

Oh you are so cynical far too early LOL

Publishers will publish anything as long as sales cover costs.

For example you could see how much to publish a little amount like 100 of them.

Wont sell a dime, plain and simple, what has this forum accomplished in 6 years? Honestly, tell me 10 things that this place has accomplished in 6 years that is worth a book, because I can tell you the amount of time I've been here the only shit this place has done, is absolutely nothing.

30 regular members, thats it? Sure at one time we may have had 35, nothing to drop your trousers over and wank off about now is it? So it certainly wouldn't make a good book.

The book wouldn't be about our history you dumbass. Of course that wouldn't sell.

Anyone got a link to how many copies Wrestlecrap sold of their books?

This isn't about making money either as that's not gonna happen.

If you're really serious there's something known as "on-demand publishing."  My father-in-law has gone that route so that he can claim to be a published author.

Companies like AuthorHouse and others allow you to publish a book and sell it on sites like Amazon and in e-reader format.  The amount it cost varies greatly.  Usually you agree to purchase a preset number of copies in advance and anything sold after that you (the author) then makes a tiny little commission on.

The question to you Admin would be "Why?"  WrestleCrap isn't a forum site.  They have a gimmick... the Hall of Shame of Professional Wrestling.  But what would you do with a TUP book?  And better yet... why can't you do that on the forum now?

It's well cool your father in law has done this kinda thing, and your reply was better than that of Richo who just didn't have a clue. Obviously if this happened it would be a forum thing so ideas are welcome. Maybe a book based on one simple question. This could be what made you a wrestling fan, first event seen live, favourite wrestler of all time, favourite match of all time, or something else. Everyone who wanted to be part of it would write a min amount of words properly on it and we would have to decide how big we want the book to be. If enough members wrote a contributing story and purchased a copy to see their story in print, I think it could work. I'm sure others think i've way too much faith in the TUPeeps LOL

Depends on how we go about it, and it's not about making money just not losing money.

Thundarr will know more on how much it costs to get published, sell it on Amazon etc.

I'm talking about paper back not a book you can digitally download to your Blackberry.
