Baz - her name was 'Asuka' on here (not named after the wrestler)

Yeah I know right, makes me think I'm probably way too old to be watching men in pants pretending to fight and then talking to all you youngsters about it.

So Steph/Asuka is all married and familied up? It's strange because she was a primary school teacher right? My little'n is in her second year at school now and her first year teacher really reminded me of Steph.

Steph I think was before your time Baz, really fun broad and she knew her wrestling too, was pretty much one of the lads when it came to the conversation. Shame she seems to have disconnected from the internet but I guess having a litter leaves you limited time for stuff like that.

Yeah she left before I signed up haha.

Having kids does make things a bit more difficult to fit in watching wrestling...i'm lucky enough that my boy enjoys wrestling...shame he can't handle watching it more without going ott (Joys of adhd) so I can watch it easily enough.

Nightmare ain't it. My wrestling time used to be when I worked shifts, I would come in after work at around 6am and watch Raw before I got my head down for a few hours or I would squeeze it in during the afternoon before I started work if I was on nights. Then I changed to a Monday-Friday daytime position and found it much harder to find the time, I will often watch Raw or Smackdown on my tablet while my daughter watches telly with the missus. PPV's normally mean me sitting up and watching them after everyone has gone to bed. This is a reason why I often just skim Raw and Smackdown watching select bits only.

I'm hoping I can get my daughter into wrestling as she's only 5 and has shown glimpses of interest but she's not really into it yet and the missus can't stand it, although she is a fan of Total Divas

It's funny how you can get the wives interested in Total Divas, and as such is a tolerable show to compromise with. I can't stand the E! Network, but my wife watches it all the time, or used to at least, but this we can watch together in the name of doing something together.

TBH though neither one of us have followed in about a year now.

My misses is a fan of total divas and also ride along so we have quite a bit we can watch together. Shes not really a fan of wrestling but if im watching a PPV live she sometimes stays up to watch as long as Randy Orton is involved that is!!

We don't have E! as part of our tv package anymore so that put an end to us watching Total Divas, we got to the end of series 3. We've started watching it again since I've got the Network but I'm probably going to end my subscription after Wrestlemania.
Total Divas in honesty is something I can take or leave, the missus is very into stuff like the Kardashians and Real Housewives stuff that I personally can't stand but Total Divas is along similar lines so it's right up her street and I find it at least watchable due to the WWE connection. It's quite nice to have a small element of my wrestling interest that I can share with her.

TV watching does become a bit of a US thing to do rather than a ME thing when you're part of a couple, I have to try and limit the amount of stuff I watch that the missus doesn't like otherwise I just don't have the time to watch it and wrestling occupies a fair amount of that time what with all the WWE programming each week then the PPV's.

Looks like I'm heading back to shift work soon so this will force me to change my routine and maybe allow me a bit more ME time to watch tv.

Same. Except not Randy Orton, but John Cena.

When we were driving back and forth to the hospital while she was fighting cancer, we'd spend the time listening to The Steve Austin Show & Talk is Jericho podcasts, and she got to know a lot about some of the guys. She's also a big fan of Daniel Bryan as she grew up near Auberdeen Washington and liked his storyline going in to WrestleMania 30.

She's also a fan of Edge & Christian and The Miz.

I watch the wrestling on the laptop whilst the wife watches whatever shit she likes that I don't. We have "us" tv shows too but we got that happy medium haha.

It is all about that happy medium, trouble is my missus sees watching telly as a very coupley thing to do, what I often do is pick shows that are easy to follow that we both watch then I can browse this forum and do other online stuff while it’s on

She normally goes to sleep earlier than me so I can squeeze some telly in before I get my shut eye usually, she’s pretty good if I have a wrestling PPV to watch, she’ll often go upstairs and watch her stuff quite early so I can watch the wrestling.
