it was a weird ending, I don't know if it was there purely to turn Strowman completely face, or if this is going to form some sort of Raw feud going forward until it becomes the time to build to the *yawn* HHH-Angle match at Mania.

Strowman looked great not knowing what was going on, his facial expressions sold the angle there.

I had no issue with the booking at all. It wasn't done at the expense of any newer, younger talent, Roode, Nakamura, Balor and Joe were all able to put in solid displays before elimination and they didn't look weak in any way when they exited the match, also Cena and especially Triple H put Strowman over like a boss. Trips only really got his shots in on Angle and Shane two fellow veteran part-timers.

I'm not looking forward to Angle vs Triple H though, would have preferred to see The Game take on Kevin Owens and Angle has a list of quality opponent's he could face.

Quote As has been noted, Triple H is scheduled to have two big singles matches in 2018, likely at Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. One is with Kurt Angle - which was always the plan for when WWE signed Angle - and the other is against Braun Strowman, in a match in which Triple H will likely put him over so that the company can move forward with Strowman and Reigns as the two big babyfaces after WrestleMania.

I would expect him to have at least a few more than just two big matches next year.

He needs to beat Kurt Angle because he loses too much, need at least one win and it would be better for him to get it against an established name so he doesn't kill the momentum of someone else.

He could face Braun at Royal Rumble, be put in the six man elimination chamber match and then move to Kurt for Wrestlemania.

I personally find Braun vs Triple H to be more likely for Wrestlemania, given how carefully they spread out their big name draws in mania season. Kurt Angle could potentially line up against Jason Jordan in the opening match.

Braun Strowman vs Triple H is the match I’d rather see at Wrestlemania but I have a feeling they will see Angle/Trips as the more Mania calibre match even though the Strowman match makes far more sense.....

Triple H could beat Angle at the Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber giving him momentum to face Strowman. Kurt could then go on to face someone else at Wrestlemania.

Strowman defeating Triple H on a big stage will give him a huge rub positioning him solidly as a headliner.

Braun/Trips is a fresh match unlike Triple H vs Angle.

Strowman needs to be in a major Wrestlemania match this year after only being on the pre-show last year.

Braun Trips is a money match for me

They should have Strowman end HHH's in ring career to really put him over and then they can use that regardless of whether he is Heel or Face

Quote As you’d expect, the major angles for WrestleMania 34 will begin after the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.There are plans for Triple H to make his return to WWE TV after the pay-per-view event. As we’ve been reporting, Triple H is expected to team with Stephanie McMahon to face Ronda Rousey and a partner (The Rock or Braun Strowman) at WrestleMania 34.

Hardly rocket science that it won't be until after the Elimination Chamber that he returns.

He's not needed for the card and so the following week he can promote a match for a month, do his annual Mania job and then disappear again.

I hope his return is well booked and makes sense, because usually by now it's much more obvious who he's going to be facing at the biggest show of them all.

Actually I would think Triple H would be at Rousey's contract signing, and that is where the story will start.

Perhaps they will have HHH and steph there and she can lay the smacketh down on steph after she signs
