No... Triple H losing is still hugely significant. Especially after the burials he's conducted on other people in the past, especially those from WCW. His victory over Sting still makes me sick. Hell, his victory over Booker T still makes me sick.

With Undertaker retiring, I think Triple H's novelty has gone through the roof. Fighting him is now like fighting Vince McMahon used to be. You MAY expect someone to beat him now, but you also desperately want to see it happen too, and when it doesn't it's a huge pisser.

They weren't burials they were victories. That's like saying his losses are burials from his opponent.

The matches you mention are years ago now. In kayfabe terms with his recent poor Mania record he's not the significant guy he was.

That's coming from me who would have Hs in my all time top five.

I can tell you love Triple H. It shows. ;)

It was a horrendously bad move to have Triple H beat Booker T at WrestleMania, and it was just as stupid to have him beat Sting. The fact that his competitors are long retired now doesn't change that fact. Booker T could have been a far bigger attraction had they allowed him the opportunity, and his match with Sting made absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Yes we all know he protected his spot in the past using his backstage clout but at the same time he was arguably the best heel in the business at the time and why shouldn't he beat a lot of the top talent? I hate how traditional booking always has the heels losing, that's why decent heels are hard to establish in today's WWE. Triple H had the gift of getting fans to hate him while still being dominant in the ring rather than cowardly. He could have given a bit more at times, Chris Jericho, RVD, Booker T and Edge standout as guys he put his boot on and it could be argued these guys didn't become true headliners as a result.

These days though Triple H has a glowing record of putting rising talent over. But then he has more or less assumed Vince McMahons role as the evil tyrant owner who only steps in the ring rarely with a top face and does the job. Realistically booking him any other way now would be senseless and it's not like he needs to protect his spot anymore.

WWE issued the following:

The Game is once again lacing up his boots, this time for several dates on WWE Live’s upcoming tour through the United Kingdom.

Triple H will join the Superstars of Raw for WWE Live Events in Scotland, England and Wales Nov. 1 through Nov. 5. The Cerebral Assassin himself confirmed the news on Twitter:

U.K., be ready. I’ll be there. In the middle of the ring.
Glasgow 11/1
Brighton 11/2
London 11/3
Minehead 11/4
Cardiff 11/5#WWEUKTour

— Triple H (@TripleH) October 27, 2017

The King of Kings will see ring action when the WWE Live tour begins in Glasgow, Scotland’s SSE Hydro Wednesday, Nov. 1. On Thursday, Nov. 2, it’s off to England and the Brighton Centre, followed by London’s SSE Wembley Arena on Friday, Nov. 3, and Minehead’s Butlins Arena on Saturday, Nov. 4. Triple H completes his leg of the tour in Cardiff, Wales’ Motorpoint Arena on Sunday, Nov. 5. Tickets for all five of these Live Events, as well as the remainder of the WWE Live U.K. Tour, which is presented by WWE 2K18 The Video Game, are still available by clicking here.

Desperate times when inflated ticket prices mean house shows aren't selling well, when they put on predictable cards of babyfaces winning every match.

Wonder who he's shaking off the ring rust to face....Gotta be K.O to stick up for his family.

Shit planning for all three of his England dates to be down south and not spread out better.

I know a lot of people (myself included) are not as excited for seeing HHH v Angle as they would be if he was facing a newer talent, however last night wasn’t the typical “all about me” situation I’ve read a lot of people saying it was.

It looks like we are going to get something with Strowman along the way too and also Jordan (given his promo) which will be great if they come out of it not necessarily as winners but looking good.

For me, that look of fear on the face of HHH when Strowman grabbed him has done as much for him as the amount of eliminations he got at SS - HHH was fantastic last night.

He continues to be an advocate for all of the NXT promoted talent and even the rye smile he gave Roode showed that

Yah, I am notoriously harsh on Triple H when he goes over, but I really didn't have a problem with this. He got squashed like a bug by Strowman and looked like he was about to piss himself. So he took out two OTHER old guys that have no business in the ring? So what? That's better than him pinning Bobby Roode with a foot on his chest while flexing. This is obviously the planting of the seeds for what they intend to have culminate at WrestleMania next year, so... /meh whatever. Let's see where it goes, I guess.

See I would have had Trips get eliminated leaving Strowman standing alone. I can't see Trips being fed to Strowman when we're only what 4 months or so to WM and Trips wrestles a handful of times a year. Trips will be wrestling Shane and/or Angle so the Strowman beat down doesn't make too much sense given the build for those matches.

I don't mind Trips at all but having him survive was just a waste.

Don't see why so many have bitched online about him. Yes it's abit shit that all the old guys lasted the longest, but we don't know how much of a say he had in the booking.

He loses every year at Wrestlemania, but for a win against him to still mean something he needs to look strong in the build up and last night he only pinned his part time wrestler brother in law.

If booking was up to some fans they would have him job to everyone everytime he gets physical in a storyline segment or match.

Botchamania posted a 5 second video clip on their Facebook page of Triple H and Stephanie walking up the stage, Triple H is walking backwards waving to the fans, he turns around walks into the LED board and falls to his knee, gets back up and staggers off. I'm sure it's a work, but it looks so damned good even after watching it the 5th time in a row.

doh! could have just CHECKED youtube first...

Here, check this out. lol
