I would really be down for another WWE Championship run with The Miz. I suppose the thing with The Miz though is that he tends to do his very best work with either Cena or Daniel Bryan. He needs to find some good chemistry with someone else still.

Miz delivered again. His putdowns of Baron Corbin were brilliant, especially how he wasn't even booked for Smackdown last week.

He's done wonders for the new tag champions too, to make them sound special through his words.

He is already going to go down as one of the greatest IC champions ever.

Miz has always delivered on the mic

The recent promos though seem more like shoot promos than previous so he has an edge to his character that he hasnt had previously IMO

He is without a doubt one of the top guys in the WWE right now

Truth and Miz were a entertaining duo, I used to want to see a trio of Truth, Miz and Morrison as all three have been partnered up separately at some point and it's always been pretty effective.

He's got a bit lost in the shuffle with all the new guys coming in and he's been doing a few movies too so they probably don't want to make a big deal out of him when he's on and off. For you Miz fans you need to check out the Table for 3 with Miz, R-Truth and Axel on, brilliant stuff.

Yeah I enjoyed him as WWE champ, he's one of the most charismatic and verbally gifted guys on the roster and he's a PR dream for WWE as well as he seems to enjoy and is good at all that kind of stuff.

I think he's fallen too far to be taken seriously as a World title contender again but he's definitely better than his current role in the low-card.

Wait, Sandow still works there?

I would like to see Miz as WWE Champion again. He played the Honky Tonk Man role better than ANYONE. He's the epitome of Sports Entertainment done right. The guy's a talentless hack in the ring, but he knows enough to not be dead weight, but in all other aspects of performance he's absolute top notch.

I mark for every segment he's in for his lines like "When my hand goes up, your mouths go shut." I had a teacher that used to say that in grade school at it always pissed me off. Seeing Miz do it is awesome. I also wish he'd bring back telling everyone about how he's the Miz, and he's awesome.

Anyone else think they should just put the Miz and Sandow back together?

As a double-act they were very entertaining, since the split Sandow has gone on to vanish from tv despite it being suggested he would get a push, Miz has meanwhile transitioned into a mostly non-wrestling personality/occasional jobber type role.

Ideally I would love to see John Morrison return and reunite his partnership with Miz but that seems unlikely with JoMo apparently happy doing his thing for Lucha Underground and bagging low key acting gigs.

Quote Back from the break and The Miz is in the ring for MizTV. He says this is the second most must see show of all-time as Piper’s Pit is #1. Miz names a bunch of wrestling talk show segments and says none of them would have happened if it weren’t for Piper’s Pit. Miz says Roddy Piper will be missed and then welcomes us to MizTV. He does some bragging and then wants Ryback to vacate the Intercontinental Title since he’s unable to defend it. Miz thinks he should get the title. Miz says as hot as he is, his two guests are also on fire and he brings out Kevin Owens first.

Miz asks why Cesaro has an issue with Owens. Owens says it’s because Cesaro is jealous of him. Owens starts talking about what he’s accomplished but the music interrupts and out comes Cesaro in a suit.

Miz says Cesaro is supposed to wait but he welcomes him anyway. Fans chant Cesaro’s name. Miz asks if Cesaro came to pick a fight. Cesaro tells him to relax, he just wanted to hear what “Walk Owens Walk” has to say. Owens says Cesaro is jealous of him because he’s succeeded where Cesaro has failed. Owens says Cesaro will never reach his level in the business. Cesaro says he’s disgusted by Owens because he disrespects himself, the WWE universe and anyone who steps in the ring. Cesaro calls Owens an embarrassment. Owens stands up and tosses his chair. Cesaro laughs at him for the chair sticking to him. Owens fires back and they have words. Cesaro says he’s good at fighting so if Owens wants to go, they can go. Miz says this is what MizTV is all about and Owens tell him to shut up, let the guys who really know how to fight do it. Owens says he will fight anyone but only for a price and tonight is not the night. He goes to leave and Cesaro taunts him, getting a “Walk Owens Walk” chant going. Miz yells at Cesaro and Owens comes back and blindsides both of them. Cesaro turns it around and goes for the Cesaro Swing but Owens retreats to the floor and backs up the ramp. Cesaro yells at Owens from the ramp as his music hits. Owens yells back that it will be on his terms.

Nice touch by Miz breaking character for a few minutes to show respect to one of his idols.

I reckon out of respect for Piper that Miz TV might become more regular now, possibly weekly.

He could well get a renewed push out of it rather than being a bit part to put others over.

can't agree.

I don't feel Miz has gained actual heat.  yeah, he got loud boos when doing the cheer/boo routine with Sandow, but when he didn't have Sandow to interact with, the response was, at best, more muted, and at worse, completely indifferent.

I felt that Miz had potential, and I still do feel that, the issue is him being handled wrongly, and doing the character wrong.  had he been an edgy tweener or face, then his insults would have worked, but he wasn't, so they didn't. blame for that lays on both him and creative; he doesn't seem to get a good read on what his character should be at times, and creative should, by now, have given him something he can actually work with.
