So after watching part 2 I think there is no doubt that The Undertaker vs AJ Styles was match of both nights.
WWE would have been smart to do cinematic production with other matches too as the missing audience did hurt a lot of the matches, Edge vs Orton for example would have benefited from this treatment and maybe Otis vs Dolph would have been better with some post production effects. Cena vs Wyatt should have been filmed as more of a fight rather than the jumble of weirdness we saw. This did make me think though how cool would Goldberg vs Taker have been if they filmed it as this style of match? It may also open up the possibility to do Undertaker vs Sting like this.

I wasn't a fan of part time broken down middle aged man doing his dated mythical character gimmick that others had to put over. The idea of a tough bastard called Mark who likes riding motorbikes and sticks up for his wife I can very much get behind. Loved him calling AJ Allen and the match protected him real good because he didn't have to try and do wrestling moves that don't come as easy for him nowadays. So many wrestling personalities tweeted about it including from other companies and the likes of Bully Ray. It even had a video message tweet from Mick Foley wanting to be in a boneyard match next year. It genuinely could be the go to match for The Undertaker every Wrestlemania from now on and he's gone 4 and 0 at Wrestlemania now as the American Badass. Gallows and Anderson were booked to help but not for long, which was the way to go. I don't see how Bray/Cena later filmed in the same way can even top this.

Little surprised to see this post from you pal as I know you're normally a bit of a hater as far as The Undertaker is concerned, but I'm glad you enjoyed the match as much as I did. I thought it was excellent, best Undertaker match at Wrestlemania since HBK and the best choice to headline night 1. The empty arena would have killed a straight up wrestling match between these two, very smart move to make the most of the pre-tape post-production advantage by taking the match out of the arena and filming it the way they did. Taker on the bike with Metallica playing was a mark out moment, I loved how cinematic the production was, this was sports entertainment at its best. Unsurprisingly the match has received universal praise on social media from wrestlers. This was also very smart booking of Taker who we all know can't go in the ring like he used to, in this scenario he didn't have to work too hard as it was all about the effects and the production, he looked like a bad ass again. AJ may have lost but I'm sure he'll be incredibly proud of the fact he had such a great Wrestlemania moment with a true legend of the business, this was one occasion where the Deadman was right to go over, it didn't hurt Styles. I would say this was actually quite ground-breaking in that cinematic wrestling matches can really be something when produced right and hopefully we see more of these kinds of matches in the future. Well done to WWE for this and giving us something to enjoy this much during a difficult time. Cena and Wyatt have a tough act to follow.

Superb match last night between them. I would go as far as to say it's one of the best matches of either of their careers.
Long after both have retired and old matches are thought about this would be up there for how unique it was and the realism. It had a proper fight feel different to anything E have produced for a very long time. This is why Undertaker wanted a Wrestlemania match with AJ as he knew he'd have his best for many years. AJ lost but is on a small list of names from the thousands in the history of the business who have had the pleasure of facing Undertaker at Wrestlemania.

Highlight of the episode, great promo from AJ. I loved the realism with Styles calling The Undertaker old and broken down and even bringing Michelle McCool into it which you have to wonder if it's a inside jab as she was critical of WWE recently on social media. I think The Undertaker will win this one but it should be a good match, possibly the best Taker will have had in a while.

Loved it. Mic skills hasn't ever been one of the biggest selling points of Styles, but that promo for the realism is probably the best mic work he's ever done. To bring up Michelle McCool and call Taker by his real name and be allowed to mention how Taker gets hurt everytime he wrestles these days was all so good. I'm very happy we will get a one on one instead of them in some multi man match involving The Club and Black.

Instant fantasy booking: AJ in the ring. Bell tolls. Lights go out. The music starts. Undertaker appears, using a walker. Spotlight hits Taker & we see it's really Luke Gallows. Out walks Karl Anderson dressed as Paul Bearer. Gallows & Anderson do a few old age jokes. A week or two later. AJ is in the ring & demands the Undertaker show himself. Bell tolls & out go the lights. Out comes Gallows as American Badass Taker. But instead of a motorcycle, it's scooter. More old age jokes. A week or two later. AJ in the ring. AJ tells the crowd you have to say his name 3 times to make the Undertaker appear. Bell tolls & out go the lights. Spotlight hits but nobody is at the stage. Lights come up & there's Undertaker behind AJ. But all that's because I just don't want to hear that they're fighting because Taker won the ugly plastic mountain trophy thing.

I fully agree. As said I want this to be a great match and I want both competitors to have offense and look strong. I am hoping for the perfect combination of mat wrestling, hard strikes, and aerial maneuvers that I know it can be, just like Taker's matches with Shawn Michaels. I can't say enough times that this will be a classic. A WrestleMania loss to Undertaker is never a disgrace; to anyone.

I think this is one The Undertaker can win. AJ Styles is being positioned similarly to how Shawn Michaels was used in his later years, AJ is a respected veteran who can work a great match and gets enough key wins to keep him relevant near the top of the card, but I think his role will now become more and more to put over top babyface talent.
It's said Styles was one of the names Undertaker submitted on a list to Vince McMahon of current talent he wants to work with before he retires from in ring competition. As long as AJ can look competitive against Taker and produce a decent match it will do him no damage to take the loss.

You already had your one time to be right about something for this year; now you go back to being utterly clueless about wrestling once again. No, a "feud" is where two people or two tag teams hate each other within the confines of the... "storyline" or wrestling angle. For example, in 1987 Hulk Hogan and Andre The Giant were feuding over the title. THE TERM "FEUD" HAS BEEN USED IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING FOR AGES. For example, in the 80's the Von Erichs and the Fabulous Freebirds were feuding in World Class Wrestling in Texas. Of course it is in a storyline; but "feud" is a much better way to describe a situation where the wrestlers have a rivalry with each other. It doesn't matter if it's scripted or not and it doesn't matter if they love or hate each other in real life or not. Because what you miss is that the term "feud" is a part of the kayfabe in itself. A "feud" is a much better way to name a thread title concerning a wrestling feud.
#Heel is right that it will be a great match regardless. But Undertaker should win. But if he were to lose, as #Heel said it would be his third.
