Quote Here is the updated WWE Evolution card after tonight's Raw. The PPV takes place on October 28, live from Uniondale, New York.
    WWE Raw Women's Title Match
    Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella
WWE Smackdown Women's Last Woman Standing Match
    Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
    WWE NXT Women's Title Match
    Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler
    Women's Tag Team Match
Alexa Bliss & Mickie James vs. Trish Stratus & Lita
Finals of the Mae Young Classic Tournament
    Women's Battle Royal
Winner to receive a future Women's Title Shot
Featuring: Ember Moon, Nia Jax, Tamina, Dana Brooke, Alicia Fox, Peyton Royce, Billie Kay, Asuka, Carmella, Naomi, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Lana, Torrie Wilson & others TBA

Becky and Charlotte need to close the show, as nothing else of value is on the card for me.

Rousey will not lose, NXT I don't watch and lots of oldies have been brought back to fill out the card.

I hope someone not full time on the roster wins the clusterfuck. Maybe for example Alexa/Mickie win, Trish gets pissed, enters to win the Battle Royal and then has a short fued for a few months with Ronda.

Quote Not sure if it's something I will be rushing to watch as it shows up the lack of talent on the current roster, that they feel they have to bring back past ladies to help the event.
It's not about bringing back former talent to "help". They do very little to sell tickets because they come from a time when women's wrestling being bad was just as much their fault as it was the bookers. The older wrestlers coming back is more of a ceremonial move for the name evolution, and a pat on the back for doing what they should have done all along.

The Mae Young Classic finals, & the NXT roster is all they really need. Nikki Cross is gonna be a highlight of the night. And Io Shirai competing presumably against either Toni Storm or Lacey Lane, Kairi Sane vs Shayna Baszler, and Rousey vs Nikki and Charlotte vs Becky is more than enough to make me tune in.

I fully expect to see Shayna Baszler & Ronda Rousey to unite for the first time at this PPV against the Bella Twins.

I used to feel much the same, despite the revival of women’s wrestling in WWE it’s still often a after thought of the product to me, although I must admit my interest in the women’s division is probably at a all time high with Ronda Rousey on Raw and the Becky/Charlotte feud on Smackdown. When this show was first announced I did think I would probably only watch highlights or select matches but so far I think there is enough quality on the card for me to watch the whole thing.

It’s definitely a form of compensation for the ladies I think as they’ve now missed out on two big pay days with the Saudi shows, but it’s well timed with the current popularity of the women’s division and all the history making stuff they are doing.

Quote Last night, WWE announced another match for their first ever all-women's PPV, Evolution, which takes place October 28, 2018 live from Uniondale, NY. WWE Hall of Famer Lita will return to the ring to take on Mickie James in a one-on-one match.

BREAKING: @WWE Hall of Famer @AmyDumas will return to the ring at #WWEEvolution to square off against former rival and 6-TIME #WomensChampion @MickieJames! https://t.co/h5pBEWGfb7

— WWE (@WWE) September 4, 2018

-- WWE has already suggested that approximately 50 female superstars will be competing at this PPV, with past legends/stars joining future NXT talent alongside the company's current Raw and Smackdown superstars. The only other matches official is another Hall of Famer Trish Stratus taking on Alexa Bliss and the finals of the Mae Young Classic. Both the Raw and Smackdown women's titles are likely to be defended. There is also expected to be some sort of battle royal or multi-person match to be announced later this month.

Any returning for one night only Diva/Legend should be losing their match on the night.

Not sure if it's something I will be rushing to watch as it shows up the lack of talent on the current roster, that they feel they have to bring back past ladies to help the event.

Also there is no avoiding the elephant in the room, which is that AJ Lee won't be there when she should be.

Only Rousey v Banks and Charlotte v Asuka really has any appeal. Yes I know it’s a fantasy build but that why I’ve said the women’s division needs work. There are only a few that are really good to carry really good and entertaining matches. We will see how it all shakes down by then but hopefully it will be worth the build they are trying to give it to be.

Allow me to fantasy book for a moment.

Ronda Rousey vs Sasha Banks

Charlotte Flair vs Asuka

Ember Moon vs Naomi

Shayna Baszler vs Becky Lynch

Toni Storm vs Io Sharai

Bliss vs Bayley

Trish Stratus vs Mickie James

Bella Twins vs Iiconics

There's a lot they could do, and I'd sure watch the hell out of it.

You say they don't have time to build but they actually have far more time. I would imagine they'll build some feuds in the background and have a couple of matches built up for the PPV before that don't happen. Charlotte vs Asuka doesn't need build, Rousey vs Banks doesn't need long.

Unfortunately I don't see this ppv doing that well especially when they're is only so much time on both Raw and Smackdown you can give the women to build up rivalries and even then this is probably the best kind of card you'll get

Nia Jax vs Mickie James

Ronda Rousey vs Alexa Bliss

Sasha Banks vs Bayley

Carmella vs Becky Lynch and possibly Asuka and Charlotte Flair as well

maybe a nothing tag match with Iconics maybe taking on the bellas or something

What other matches could you possibly put on the card and better yet can the women go longer then 15 minutes because so far only Charlotte and Sasha have gone more then 15 minutes in the ring at any time on the main roster.

Yes I agree. I just don’t want another women’s royal rumble. I want actual matches.
