That Shayna/Cross stuff was brilliant. We all know Cross is a nutjob and will stand up to anyone, so that one is going to be more even that many will predict. This is also the reason they kept Cross in NXT for another year..she will be used to bring on the next group of females before moving up, much like Bayley did before her.

Because of how much (on Raw, Smackdown and NXT) they mention the 4 horsewomen - youd expect shed initially team with Ronda but eventually go her own way.

There are some superstars that excel at being a heel (Roode being the most obvious) that making them face would spoil them - i think that applies to Shayna.

Its her attitude that makes her so good - not sure how shed pull off being a face but im a huge fan and would stick around to find out.

People did NOT like her to begin with, remember when she was announced for the Women's Tournament? People knew who she was and groaned because they thought she was going to win and she was going to suck, too. She has done a great job at winning people over, and she has proven she's a monster in her division.

I wonder though how things will change when she gets to the main roster. Will they keep her heel and on a different brand that Rousey? Will they flip her baby and keep her with Rousey? Will the two feud?

Any way you look at it her inclusion on the main roster will be interesting. She's a game changer.

Shayna is the best female Heel in all of wrestling right now.

Whilst watching the most recent episodes of NXT and her constant run ins with Dakota - it had me thinking, why is Nia Jax not being like this. Infact with Jax, it would go down even better if she kept up the anti bullying promos but then went on to bully the rest of the roster. Think about it, theres no way she could not get heat being booked to bully everyone and then preach about anti bullying.

Without the anti bullying stuff, the rest is what Shayna is doing right now to everyone else on the NXT Womens division and it is working a treat.

She is excellent in the ring and can talk the talk but her best attribute to date for me is her ability to intimidate other / her attitude.

She is also being booked differently to most heel, for example, when Nikki Cross took the title off her and laid it down in the ring - traditional WWE heels would either look for an opportunity to sneak attack or just walk away and leave the battle for when the odds were in their favor again. Baszler walked straight into the ring to collect the belt - despite being at the numerical disadvantage and being fresh out of a match.

This to me is the way WWE should be booking their heel champions.

Shayna is quickly becoming one of the best Heels in all of WWE.

She is totally bad ass as Fletch states above.

In WWE nowadays there are not that many pre or post match beatdowns and when they do happen they arent what they used to be. Shayna changes that, shes breaking arms, choking out and just being an absolute beast.

She looks like the perfect heel and she is 100% believable.

I really hope she takes the title at Takeover because id love to see her as champ and see how dominant she can be.

She also has that weasly miz-type trait where she can just walk away from matches if she (kayfabe) thinks shes got no chance of winning or things arent going her way. She blindsides people the whole works.

For people who are on board with the womens wrestling revolution on the main roster OR people who are unfamiliar with stuff going on in NXT - id highly reccomend watching some of her stuff from the last couple of months

First time I’ve seen her in the ring at Takeover, what a bad ass, great match, as I said in the Takeover thread can’t remember ever enjoying a Women’s match as much as that.

I love that she’s incorporated her MMA submission style in with her wrestling so much, it works well and makes for harder hitting more realistic looking work in the ring.

So she’s still pretty green? You wouldn’t know it.

I think they should get her to work a programme with Nikki Cross before being called up. A crazy woman who is experienced enough to rub off on Shayna. That would be my ideal choice anyway.

Baszler's theme music also has the 4 horseman theme incorporated into it, so I agree, Baz. She threw up the 4 horseman sign, too. I thought she was going to win the title, and while I didn't like the idea of that happening, and I'm happy she lost, the fact that she still looked so good, both professionally and kayfabe, meaning she looked like a boss in the ring, yet her loss looked legit, and not stupid or fake, or bullshit or whatever, and despite all that she still looked good, it all bodes well for her future imo. IMO she's candidate #1 to show up in the women's rumble from the list of people in NXT that could enter even over any of the men that might debut as well.

I think the most Baszler stays in NXT is until this year's wrestlemania.

I don't see them keep Shayna in NXT for long. I would go as far and say she'll be in the Womens Rumble tonight taking out a few of the lower ranked women. Before last night I would have said this wouldn't have happened but the 4 horsewomen sign at the end does make me think she'll be there.

The reason I think she'll be babyface is because all of her appearances so far in WWE has been as a babyface. Looking back to The Rock n Rousey connection vs The Authority she was hugely over as a babyface, and celebrities usually get marginal babyface reactions just as a way of being polite, if not just getting crapped on, so her strong babyface reaction says to me she'll start baby.

That said, you're definitely right in that she'll likely go to Raw, and Raw needs heels. Not only that but I Rousey will probably need to be a heel to do the four horsewomen feud. I suppose they could start her heel for a week or two and then turn her pretty rapidly.

I'm still quite keen on Rousey vs Charlotte for the WWE Women's Championship and having Rousey hold until she meets Asuka and having Asuka take the title from Rousey.

Baszler would be a good character to use to break up the MMA's four horsewomen.

Perhaps in the chronology of Rousey's WWE career they should set up horsewomen vs horsewomen, then Rousey vs Charlotte to give Rousey the championship, have Baszler turn on Rousey, to flip Rousey babyface, have Rousey successfully defend, and then have baby vs baby Asuka vs Rousey. That could make up the better part of a year's worth of PPVs and after that I doubt we could expect much more from Rousey in the WWE.

Following up from there Baszler vs Asuka(c) would be fantastic as well, given that Baszler continues to improve.
