I have heard some rumours but at the minute i think its not the best move.

Currently the Womens Revolution has gained alot of momentum and the achievements are racking up and i think doing everything at once sort of makes it look like they are putting all of their focus on the women and less so on the men (so kind of flipping it from where it was not so long ago)

There is alot of talent in the division and i think they could easily create enough stuff to have a decent division but then it will seem like they are doing it for the sake of it to get them all on TV because lets face it, whilst there are alot of superstars - not alot of them have been utilised.

When these 3 first showed up i thought they were a poor version of Absolution - although they both seemed to show up at the same time, these 3 just always seemed like the weaker team.

Lately my opinion on them has changed quite alot and maybe part of that is because Absolution have had to change things a bit given Paige cant wrestle anymore.

The Riott squad get alot of TV time and they are all decent in the ring.

Rubys title match at Fastlane against Charlotte was really good and she gave a very good account of her self.

I'm not sure where they are going with them at the minute though

I think until mania they don't really do much of anything to be honest. Afterwards Riott has the chance to be the top actual heel and undertake secondary storylines with Asuka and whoever is challenging her as the primary storyline.

Morgan and Logan shouldn't break off yet, in my opinion. As the rosters grow on both sides you need to have little pairings and factions present and Riott Squad vs Bayley should be a very fun feud for all parties.

Quote Women’s Championship: Charlotte (c) vs. Ruby Riott: Sarah Logan and Liv Morgan are both at ringside for this one. Charlotte and Ruby go back and forth early on, with Charlotte looking for the Figure Four early on. They briefly fight at ringside, where Charlotte briefly gets distracted by Sarah and Liv, before going back in the ring. Ruby fires up and knocks Charlotte outside. Sarah and Liv stalk Charlotte at ringside, so Naomi and Becky run down to even the odds. Back in the ring, Ruby continues to control the match after slamming Charlotte’s face into the middle turnbuckle. Ruby follows up with a flying senton for a two count. Ruby continues with a choke on Charlotte

Charlotte fights up, but then misses a shot in the corner. They fight up to the top turnbuckle, and Ruby hits a Frankensteiner off the top for a two count. Charlotte gets to her feet and starts fighting back with slaps and chops. There’s a botched spot that sees Ruby get dropped on the middle rope. Sarah and Liv get on the apron, and Naomi and Becky run in. The ref stops Naomi and Becky and gets them out of the ring, while behind his back Sarah and Liv beat down Charlotte. The ref orders Sarah an Liv away from ringside, while Ruby protests with the ref. Chrlotte gets up and starts laying into Ruby with chops. They fight into the corner, and Charlotte slams the challenger into the middle turnbuckle. Charlotte follows up with a spear, then goes for the Figure Four. She locks it in and does the Figure Eight, and Ruby taps out.

Winner & still Women’s Champion: Charlotte

Not sure where Ruby goes now. This short term fued hasn't cemented her position as one of the lead ladies of Smackdown.

Liv and Sarah need a chance to step up. No group keeps people interested long enough when it's clear one person is above the others.

It makes an heel group look shit when their antics get them thrown from ringside.

I wouldn't say Elias is a piece of crap. He needs to work on his wrestling psychology, sure, but his character is nailed down.

I have no issues at all with Ruby Riott as I think she is awesome, but Sarah Logan does nothing for me. Tough, maybe, but a complete non-entity on my eyes.

Pretty much this again

Riott squad are done after The Rumble IMO

I one billion % disagree with you (both times). Sarah Logan and Ruby Riot are both technically skilled and can look dangerous. They are awesome and entertaining to watch, as part of the group or in singles.

You like a pile of crap like Elias but don't see talent in the Riot Squad. Such vastly different tastes in wrestling we have.

I don't think Ruby is that much better than the other two. I think because of her different look, she's made out to be more talented because fans like to get behind someone who stands out. If she had the same in ring ability but looked like Liv Morgan I don't think her work would be as praised.

Quote Charlotte, Becky Lynch, & Naomi vs. The Riott Squad: Charlotte and Liv start off, and Charlotte takes control early on. Ruby tags in and Charlotte drops her, then does the headscissor slam. Becky tags in and continues the offense on Ruby. Ruby turns it around against Becky, then Liv tags back in and hits a bulldog on Becky. Liv pulls the hair and the ref warns her. Sarah tags in now and continues beating on Lynch. Becky takes down Sarah, and Naomi gets the hot tag. Liv tags in too, and Naomi cleans house. Naomi drops Liv with a kick, then hits a series of kicks. Naomi misses a splash in the corner, but follows up with a kick to the face. Naomi hits a springboard cross body and pins, but Sarah breaks it up. Charlotte spears Sarah outside. Ruby hits a cheap shot kick to Naomi's face when the ref isn't looking, and Liv follows up with another shot to Naomi for the three count.

Winners: The Riott Squad

Same as Absolution on Raw by having one of the lackeys get a bit of a push by picking up a victory.

They still need to work harder on their selling. When Logan ended up out of the ring she seemed confused about how to sell it.

For me the problem isn't necessarily the people, it's the lack of stakes. We know there'll be no title matches at The Rumble. We know there can only be one Rumble winner over two brands. Why exactly is anybody fighting at all?

Smackdown have been coasting on a Riott/Charlotte rivalry that lacked heat but now they've thrown the Becky Lynch return into the mix and that's just confusing things. Meanwhile over on Raw Paige can no longer get in the ring and nobody else is doing anything meaningful. There's no secondary titles, no number one contenders. What's the point of the women's matches at all right now? What we need are stakes.

Allow me to fantasy book a moment. Riott Squad vs RoyalFireGlow (seriously these names are all bloody awful) will be a match on Smackdown. Let The Welcoming Committee (eurgh) get involved and literally screw with both sides, causing continual interference and eventually resulting in Lynch getting distracted on the outside. She can beat up Carmella; that'll be important to start a rivalry for later.

Meanwhile, Naomi miscues a kick on Liv Morgan and manages to hit Charlotte. Charlotte doesn't go down but instead reacts to Naomi negatively. Naomi gets tackled by Logan. Charlotte gets hit by Ruby Riott and pinned by Liv Morgan.

Yes, the quote unquote weakest member of Riott Squad; it's important.

Riott Squad bugger off up the ramp celebrating their victory, their job done. Riott and Logan lift Morgan up on their shoulders or something. Meanwhile, Lynch tries to keep the peace between Charlotte and Naomi. They all back off, Charlotte turns her back and Naomi says something quietly that makes Charlotte snap and boot her in the face.

Charlotte starts to leave, Welcoming Committee (sans Carmella) jump in the ring, beat down Becky and, when Charlotte comes back to help, beat her down too.

Now, we have some tension, finally.

Later in the night, we show an arguing Welcoming Committee over Carmella being abandoned to fight with Lynch. Carmella eventually tells them all to go to hell, says she'll win the Rumble, the title and keep her Money in the Bank and then she'll be champion forever, stomps off.

And then we at least have something interesting. Potential Charlotte heel turn. Liv Morgan gloating over pinning the champion. Problems between the faces leading into the Rumble. Carmella leaving the heel group. Heat with Becky and Carmella for mania.

Right now nothing means anything on either brand when it comes to women's wrestling.
